even though you have a car.

When you hold the door
but don't look my way.

When you are done with your work
But wait for me.

When you walk me home
but your house is far away.

When you say that our route is same
but I know it's not.

When you lie to my face
but I know the truth.

When you remember the little things
but think I don't notice.

When you don't let your guard down
but smile behind my back.

When you want to see my face
but don't want me to know.

When you wish to stay
but are out of excuses.

When you hide your love
but that's all I see.

When you don't want me to disappear
but don't know what to say.

When you say goodbye
while thinking of seeing me again.

When you go away
only to come back again.

When you are miles away
but feel so close.

When we walk on separate paths
but we meet again.

When you are a stranger
but feel like a soulmate.

When you take a step
but move back by two.

When you like someone
but are afraid to say.

Note:-  This poem is about two people who are not exactly friends but are co workers and have known each other for a while now. They both have developed feelings for each other but are afraid to confess.
