Taehyung has always been alone because he was homeschooled and the only best friend he recieved was his pet, Yeontan

He was homeschooled and his parents never really put much attention towards him

Taehyung first met Jimin online, that was after he got to know he was moving to a real school and he had the freedom to move in dorms, make friends and do whatever the freak he likes till he graduated

Jimin was the one introducing everyone and everything to him because when the teacher made it official that another student was entering our school, he picked Jimin to give him a welcome

It all started with a text

"Hey, is this Taehyung? I got your number from the teacher"

Even though it was hardly a week since Taehyung came in this school, he found himself to be pretty changed after leaving homeschooling

That is exactly why he wants to talk to everyone, everytime because he couldn't do it for years

But he was also a little introverted

Taehyung's parents decided to buy a mansion around his school so that the secretaries could make sure Taehyung was alright, they decided that the secretaries will come in the school every month

As time passed by, Yeontan had to be brought to a new owner and in fact, a pretty rich owner

Though Taehyung cried as he left he knew Yeontan had to go some day

Taehyung was connected to Yeontan a lot and seeing him leave left him in tears for many years

Almost a year to be exact..

On the other hand, y/n grew up in a pretty happy family

There were neighbours, grandparents, parents, friends, relatives and so many more people for y/n which seemed so close and warm

Y/n's childhood was spent like a normal girl's childhood, playing around, sometimes playing pranks and even if she got caught adults would just laugh it off and make it a story to tell to other people

Everyone was cheerful in y/n's family, which resulted in y/n being just like them

Though she was not rich and never went to popular restaurants and places, she was surrounded by lovely people

"Y/n, are you ready?" Taehyung asked standing outside of the bathroom fixing his hair

"Yeah almost, just finishing up" I reply

"Alright"

I walk out wearing a black dress and a black furry coat on top of it

I had untied my hair and put on a nude shade of lipstick and some mascara followed by a stroke of eyeliner as I carried a black purse with me to keep my phone and wallet in. I also added white earrings and wore heels, looking almost exactly like the picture given below

"Y/n..you look.."he stops looking at me up and down

"What happened?" I ask

He chuckles and turns back to his mirror

"Nothing just..never thought anyone could look more gorgeous than me"
He says

"I'll take that as a compliment" I say

"You should" he says

"Well then, you look good yourself, Taehyung"

"It's Tae for today"

"Alright then Tae, you look good yourself"

"Thanks" he says turning around

"Come on now, the party's probably about to start"

"Right" we were about to head out before Taehyung stopped me

"Nu-uh not like this" he said as he reached out his hand for me to grab

I looked at him as I put my hand in his and our hands intertwined with each other's

"Let's go then" I said as we walked out of our room and climbed upstairs.
The movement of our legs were in sync and I was waiting to greet people and head to wherever the food was with Ari when we reach

Taehyung opened the glass gates and stood on one side to give me the space to go first

"Thanks" I say as he grabbed my hand again

There was Jimin, my partner in cr- I mean Ari, Jungkook, Jin and other students

I never realised I had made just 2 friends Ari and her brother, Jin
Damn, I was so behind on even social interactions

"Hey guys, how's it going?" Tae asked as he shaked his hands with Jungkook and Jimin

"Everything's going fine and you?" They asked

"It's all good, hello you must be Ari, right?" Taehyung said

"Yeah, and you're Taehyung?" She asked

"Yup, I've heard a lot about you and how you've got a little crush on-"

Time to save this idiot again

"Ariii Let's explore the place ya? bye jimin bye jin bye jungkook" I asked cutting Taehyung off mid-sentence

"Oh ya come on" she said as she grabbed my wrist to get out of their presence

"Omg thank you so much I would've died of embarrassment if you didn't say anything" she said

"Because of this, you are paying for the food alright?" I said as we grabbed a seat beside the window

The whole party was almost like a mix of everything, it felt like a club but there were no alcoholic drinks, people went to the dance floor whenever they liked but it was also like a cool restaurant where you can get a view of the chill atmosphere through the windows

And I was loving it

A waitress came to our table as we looked at the menu card and we ordered

"Some ramyeon for me please"
I said as Ari ordered for herself

"Ramyeon for me too also some strawberries" she said

I looked at her confused while the waitress walked off "Strawberries?"

"Just wait and watch" she winked as we waited and had small talks

I took of my jacket and kept it to the side of our table with that, the food arrived

I was just about to hold my chopstick that was until I saw Taehyung and Jin approaching us

"Well, I did what I could Ari but now I can't protect you from the embarrassing moment you are probably about to face" I said as my voice was barely above a whisper

"What do you mean?" she asked but before I could answer, Jin and Taehyung were already here

"Oh strawberries" Taehyung said and without permission, he grabbed a strawberry from Ari's bowl and ate it

So that's what she meant when she said----"just wait and watch"

Her words repeated in my mind as I glared at her and she just smirked

How much has she been stalking him? and she knew Taehyung would come here and eat her strawberries already? was this all planned? she possibly cannot know when and how Taehyung or her brother or any normal human being will come and what exactly will they do..no way is she a mind reader? nahh she would've known all the answers to the questions that our teacher asks then wh-

"Hello? Earth to y/n?" Taehyung said causing my my trail of thoughts to end

"Taehyung, Jin what do you want now? just let me eat in peace" I said

"We will, but just listen to us for a second before zoning off to your thoughts" Jin said as Taeyung ate the last strawberry in Ari's bowl and she didn't even complain about it

"Okay okay, what is it?" Finally, Ari spoke

"Wait a second hyung, Y/n what did you say just now?" Taehyung said not allowing Jin to speak

"Bro I just said let me eat in peace what is wrong with that?"

"nah before that" he said as I narrowed my eyes at him

"I have no idea why you are asking me this but I said, Taehyung, Jin what d-"

"Taehyung? what did I tell you to call me?" he asked me as I just stared at him and spoke after a little while

"So you are telling me that whatever Jin is about to tell us is less important than me calling you by Taehyung and not Tae? just let him speak Taehy-"

"Tae" he corrected

"yah yah Tae"

He is still a child

we did not realise that Jin already told Ari what he had to and had already left whereas, Tae and me just couldn't stop arguing

Ari had also left with her brother to somewhere and had ate all her ramen and my ramen became cold each passing by second

"um..Tae..where's Ari..and Jin?" that was how and when we realised that we wasted our time

I am now, searching for Ari because Tae might have the whole class as his friend but I can only survive with Ari in these types of parties what about my brother you may ask? my brother does not care where I am or how I am doing because he supposedly left that job to Ari

I found where she was, on the dance floor..a crowded dance floor

fuck it

I took a deep breath in and made my way towards Ari, bumping into people, no I did not say sorry to them and I finally found her as I tapped her shoulder

she was tripping here and there and I put my arm around her shoulders as I stood by her side and asked shouting over the loud music

"Ari are you drunk?"

"a little" she said as she danced..awkwardly..but this was not the time to focus on her dance because it was clear she wasn't 'a little' drunk. where did she get alcohol anyway?

"Okay let's make it out of this dance floor okay? I know you might be feeling a little dizzy so we are going to take each step slowly"

she nodded

we were about to leave the dance floor when suddenly a voice asked "miss, you look very pretty do you want to dance with me"

I looked up to the guy who made eye contact with me..yeah he was probably drunk too his hair was black and he was wearing a black mask

"sorry, I am just about to leave the party with my friend" I said but before I could walk a little more he blocked my way with his arm

"don't make this hard for me" he said, his voice a lot deeper now

"sir I'm gonna ask you to leave" 'or I'm gonna beat the crap out of you' was silent

"what if I don't huh?" he said

this guy was just about to get on my nerves

"leave. now." I warned him

"y/n come on" Jin said as he entered the dance floor too with Jimin

"Jin, take care of Ari for a minute..I think I need to show someone who they are messing with" I said as I passed her to Jin as Ari buried her face in the crook of Jin's neck

"Y/n huh? Disgusting name just like that face of yours especially your nose" he said as he was about to throw a punch to your nose as you grabbed his hand

"Didn't you say I was pretty a few seconds back? What happened now? Why has your face gone so pale?" I said as he looked at me with eyes widened I took the opportunity and kicked him on his knees and he fell down

Everyone had gave us space and started recording on their phones. It was not long until Tae joined the crowd

But I didn't pay much attention to my surroundings

(Dumb decision, these recordings are probably gonna be sent to the principal)

I stepped on his arm and looked at him and allowed my legs to slowly sit on the floor

"Heh, no voice coming from that throat of yours now is it? Next time think before shamelessly trying to fight a girl, drunk, to dance. You might not even remember today because you'll be in a hangover you're very drunk, your body stinks of alcohol so I'm letting you go but just in case you remember whatever happened today, never approach any girl like this because if you do and I got to know that day will be the end of you. I hope that's understood"

I said as I got up and walked out grabbing Tae's hand and dragging him with me

I heard claps and cheers when I finished talking but the biggest fear I had for the moment was the whole school including teachers and the principal finding out about this

To my surprise though, no teacher attended the party, only students did

And even though I messed up, I was kinda proud of myself

I had walked out of the scene and I was about to walk down the stairs to reach our dorm but Tae stopped walking

"Y/n.." he started

"I know, I know..I..I messed up..very very bad but that guy deserved it and I-"

"You're so much more braver than me, you are..I can't believe I'm saying this..you are amazing"

"I know I am"

"But you could've just called me I was just around the corner and Jin was also there" He said as I chuckled a bit

"Stupid, I don't want you or Jin to get hurt"

"And I don't want you to get hurt" he replied fast as he looked into my eyes his were shining brightly and mine were probably looking dead seriously how gorgeous is this man?

"What if you lost the fight?"

"Then you'd call the ambulance and I'd be on the hospital bed because if someone beats me then they would be very strong"

"Exactly" he sighed and intertwined both my hands with both of his "y/n, you might be able to fight..but from now on..you are not gonna fight, atleast not alone..you are going to fight with me by your side okay?"

I- wasn't he the same monster stealing my phone the other day? God his duality

I sighed and gave him a genuine smile "whatever you say, Mr. Prince" before I could say anything else he pulled me into his embrace

"Thank you princess" he whispered as his warm breath hit on the side of my ears
