because life was nothing but a routine. a dreary routine where I attended my shifts just to go home and sleep my thoughts away.

I was on a path to recovery and then I met you, the path however didn't feel like a maze unlike our relationship. it felt easy and clearer. you helped me to recover.

I wanted to wake up everyday, answer your messages and meet you where you wanted. hear your voice, tease you and kiss you.

I wanted to kiss your pain away. your internal struggle that you never opened up about.

but you never realised that you kissed away my pain too, without knowing .. you made me fall for you. and when I fell, you left.
