I walk past the pool with Levi to my left, I see him glance at me looking at him... he smirks as he realises I'm checking him out.

Damm that was a close one, did I really want my step brother to kiss me....woah that was pretty hot the way he held me with such strength and underlying heat....

What the hell am I going to do I think to myself...Is he really my mate or am I just deluding myself... I know I think he's hot but I know he's a man whore. I saw the skank he was with last night, what if that was his girlfriend.... damn this is gonna kill my mom and Ian... and what about Van he's gonna hit the roof. We start walking towards the door to the main house when I stop suddenly. Levi turns around looking at where I'd stopped with a confused look.

"I don't wanna be rude but I just met you, and all this talk about mates is freaking my the eff out.. like you said I have to wait until I turn 18 to know for sure, until then can we keep this on the down low.. I turn 18 in 6 weeks so can we just hold off till then?" I ask quickly and quietly.

Levi straightens up suddenly and frowns.. "You're denying me???"

I look up to see the hurt and rage pouring out of his strong eyes...

"No I'm not I just asked if we could just keep it between us until we both know for sure "

"You don't think I'm good enough is that it.. your waiting for a better offer?... unf**kin believable... " he rages with his hands clenched to his sides.

I stare at him with wide eyes... he looks so much like Vale right now that I brace myself and step backwards closing my eyes...

I look up quickly as I wait for the yelling to start... Levi stands there in shock as he see's my reaction to his outburst.

His eyes drop as he realizes he's just scared me... "Just don't tell anyone please" I whisper as I walk past him quickly trying to distant myself from him and the tension.

I walk into the main house looking for mom and Ian... I walk into the kitchen as I see mom making the finishing touches to her roast dinner....

"Hi honey hows was your first night?"

"It was good thanks mom, I checked out the gym this morning and spent the rest of the day unpacking and hanging out with Van" I smile as I help her set the table.

"That's good honey sorry I wasn't around I had a double shift at the hospital"

See moms a paediatric surgeon so she is always so busy. Ian is one of her emergency dr's in the ER specializing in wolves so they spend a lot of time at the hospital together.

I smile as I see Ian walk in holding two small boxes as he sits at the head of the table. I hear him and Levi catching up casually as I help mom with the last of the dinner preparations. I sit down with Levi opposite me waiting for Ian to bless the meal. As I'm about to Digg in I see mom and Ian nod to each other.

"Well before we eat we would like to talk to you two about a few thing's " Ian says as he tries not to use his alpha tone to his family.

I look at them and nod encouraging him to continue because I'm starving.

"Firstly welcome Tia to our family and our pack" he smiles

"Now we know you two are nearly grownups but we wanna go through a few things with you guys. You will be responsible for yourselves in the pool house; we ask that you keep it clean. We will arrange food to be delivered to your kitchen on a weekly basis but because of our work hours and commitment to the pack you two will have to take care of yourselves with lunches and dinners, except Sundays. Sundays we will have a family roast every week" he smiles as he looks at me and Levi with a serious face.

I look ac/ross the table as Levi looks at me with an intense look. In other words we both click that we will have pretty much nil parental supervision while living here. I try my hardest not to blush under his gaze but end up biting my bottom lip instead. Levi's face burns with lust as I see him struggling to sit still with his eyes gazing at my lips.

I take a sip of my water to try and distract myself from looking at him as I hear mom and Ian continue. I look up to mom and smile as she looks up to her husband.

"So we have a surprise for the two of you" she smiles handing over the two little boxes. One for me and one for Levi.

I look down at my box and realise it looks like a jewellery box. I look up to see Levi grinning at his box. I open it slowly to find a set of keys in the box, with a silver T attached to the keys. Looking up I see Levi pull his out with a set of keys with a silver L on his.

"OH my GOD, mom this is not what I think it is is it??" I nearly scream while I look into the box.

I look up and see mom and Ian looking at us with big grins. "Since Levi turned 18 last month we were planning on giving him a birthday present he would love... and since your turning 18 in a couple of weeks we thought we would give you your present early honey" mom replied glowing.

I jump up from the table and scream in excitement. I run across the room to mom and Ian and hug them both as I run out the door looking for the garage. I hear Levi chuckle as I turn around grinning at him following me out the door. I stand in the hallway realising I don't know where I'm going.

I feel Levi approach from behind "Follow me bunny" he whispers as I shiver from his breath down my neck. I forget about our earlier disagreement and grin at him as I follow him into the garage. He turns the light on as I enter the room and see our new rides.

Mine is a Silver soft top 2 door Mercedes-Benz SLK class roadster convertible, and his is a big black Escalade with fat looking rims.

"We hope you like them kids" I hear Ian laugh as he watches me squeal and gush about how much I love my new set of wheels.

I see Levi walk over and give his dad a man hug and kiss mom on the cheek thanking her in his own way.

After 10 mins of rushing around my car and beaming at my new ride, mom convinces us to go back inside for dinner.

On the walk back to the kitchen I feel a set of hand pull my waist into what looks like a games room.

Levi stands there with a smug look on his face as he sees me blush slightly..."Tia, I just wanted to say sorry for growling at you earlier... I didn't mean to scare you" he spoke softly as he reached with his pinky finger to lace it around my own pinky.

"Look I appreciate my answer must of put you offside suddenly but if we are mates then we both need to be sure dont we.... I just don't want to jump into anything too soon... ive only been here what 24 hours... and to be honest I don't want to end up as just another girl sneaking out of your room in the early hours" I say the last part with a bit of attitude as a flick my hair behind my shoulder.

I look up to see him grab my hand gently...he chuckles slightly showing his sexy smile as he exudes cockiness.."so thats what this is about, your thinking about this morning with Natalia?"

I pull my hand away as I put my I don't give a eff look on my face. "What ever player you do your thing..." I said as I turned making sure to swing my hips slightly as I start to walk away " and ill do mine" I said as I looked over my shoulder seeing him staring at my ass with a frustrated/angry scowl on his face.

I laugh to myself as I realise that living here might better than I realised. I walk back into the dining room and start eating as Levi returns. We eat as a family chatting about nothing really. I excuse myself afterwards and head back out to my car deciding to go for a ride.

I jump in thinking about going over to Van's place. I go to put my seat belt on as I hear my passenger door open. I turn around and see Levi sitting there buckling himself in.

"Um excuse you but what do you think your doing" I say flicking my wrist towards him.

"I'm coming with you, I need to make sure you don't crash or somthing" he says as he turns to me.

"No your not, I'm going to Vans place, ill be fine" I reply as a start to dial Van's number.

Levi snatches the phone off me and hangs up. "What the hell" I growl as I see him taking out my battery giving me back the phone.

"Tia I don't want you going over to his house, its late and we have school in the morning" he says as he looks outside knowing his excuse is lame.

"huh? Who do you think you are, firstly I don't need to ask for permission to go visit a friend, secondly its like 9.30 and I know that this isn't late... thirdly you are not my father, you are not my boyfriend and you are not my alpha so stop trying to control what I do and give me back my battery" I whisper yell to him.

I see this register in his eyes as he leans back to take a good look at me. I place the battery back into my phone and call Van.

"oh Tia bear I would love for you to come over but I'm still doing some pack stuff at the moment and by the looks of it it wont finish for a few more hours... want me to sneak around later, it might be late tho"

"awww nah that's ok Van, I know that stuff is important...and anyways I don't wanna have a late one cause its my first day tomorrow and I don't wanna look like a zombie".

"You would look good wearing a brown paper bag Tia, don't worry... actually thinking about your clothes your should totally wear that lil black lacey br........"

"aghhhh Van I'm hanging up now" I say as I interrupt his sentence.

I know Levi can hear Van down the line as I see him clenching his jaw and stretching the knuckles in his hands

"ok Tia bear, talk to you tomorrow, and don't forget Tuesday" he laughs

"night van" I say with a smile on my lips as I hang up.

I turn my head looking at Levi's expression. I meet his eyes as a see a fire burning with anger, jealousy and passion.

He grabs my arm and wraps his other arm around my waist, lifiting me over the middle consol of the car so that I'm straddling his hips.

My ass automatically shuffles trying to get comfortable on his lap. He wraps his arm around my hips pulling me closer to him. My eyes roam over his face down his tight golden body. I stare into his blue eyes thinking they look like the waters of Hawaii. He places his hand around the base of my neck as he pulls my face closer to his slowly, staring into my honey coloured eyes. I feel the blood rushing to my cheeks as I feel him growing under my hips from me just staring at him. He places his lips inches away from mine and takes a deep breath.
