Sitting on Vans bed with hot tears running down my cheek I stood up to leave the room.

"Tia, what's wrong?" Van asked after me sitting up.

"One second" I said slipping out of his room walking down the hall to an empty guest room. Oh my gosh I can't believe Levi doesn't want to be with me I frantically thought closing the door to the room. Sitting on a bay side window looking out towards the side of the house I dialled Levi's number.

"Hello?" I said quietly when he picked up.

"Tia, is everything alright, why are you calling" he said sounding a little annoyed.

No I'm not alright, I feel sick to my stomach because my mate doesn't want me, I thought to myself. "I'm fine" I whispered. "I just got your text" I said quietly.

I heard him sigh. "Oh ok" he said. Why is this so awkward I said mentally? How did we go from feeling and being so close to THIS in a matter of hours? Aghh.

I shook my head. My father always taught me that if a guy liked you he would fill awkward silences with chit chat even if it was about nothing at all just to make you feel better. And right now Levi was doing nothing of the type. Something inside me growled. "So, you don't wanna be my mate any more?" I asked direct to the point. "I don't wanna be with someone who is being with someone else" he growled. "It took you a whole 20 mins of being in my arms to being in his bed" he growled.

Oh my freakin life!, I feel like I've cheated on him. God why is this so effing hard. "I'm wearing your ring, your necklace and your jacket is still in my bag, what more do you want from me right now? I couldn't control it ok, it was like my body went into auto pilot like it did with you. That time when I went into heat for the first time, that's what happened. I can't control it. Perhaps it's better if I go to my uncles place, saves me from hurting either you or Van when I can't control my body around the two of you" I say in a fast mouthful tears running down my hot face.

"No! You can't leave" he growled.

"Why the hell not?? You think I like hearing that my mate is starting the process of rejection. Yea I know all about that process, I heard it starts with one half saying they don't want to be around them. I know I'm not the full mate you wanted but it still feels full to me, and it hurts like hell hearing you don't wanna be with me" I gasp hiccupping at the end.

"Who the hell said I was rejecting you? is that what Van has told you?" Levi growled.

"NO! The minute I got this message I walked out of the room and into a guest room to call you" I said growling back.

"So you'r not in his room anymore?" he said cooling down slightly.

"No, I'm not" I reply

"Are you sleeping in his room tonight?" Levi asked. "Not if you don't want me too" I said quietly.

"Can I sneak in when everyone's asleep?"

"You'd sneak into anther packs pack house?" I said

"To make up with my mate I would"

"Are you sure that's what you want?" I asked him. "Cause from the sound of your text, you didn't want anything to do with me?".

"Right now, all I want, need and crave is you princess" he whispered roughly. Hearing him say that I burst into tears. "So your not rejecting me?" I asked quietly.

"Never, I just couldn't handle hearing you two like that, I was jealous and angry. Hearing how difficult it is for you to actually control it helps me understand a little, I saw the desire in your eyes when you were with me. Unlike Van I was trying to be a gentleman".

"I want to come home to you right now" I whispered. "I don't want to be here knowing you're in pain" I said to him. "I don't care about our stupid brother, let him find out, let the whole world find out for all I care" I said.

I heard him chuckle down the line. "Princess I would love for the world to know your mine, but i dont want Nate knowing right now, I spoke to him earlier and he was pretty aggressive towards me, it took dad to pry us apart, but don't worry I'm coming for you tonight, leave your window open. By the way I left my spare football jersey in your bag, I was hoping you'd wear it to bed while your there" he said sounding a little embarrassed.

"hahaha did you now?, I can totally do that for you" I said laughing gently. "I'll see you tonight" I said down the phone. "Ok princess, see you soon".

Hanging up the phone I smiled and took a deep breath. Crap, how the hell am I supposed to convince Van to let stay in a guest room, I said out loud to myself. I heard the door open behind me as Van walked in shirtless. Seeing him in his cargo army pants and nothing else made my heart rate increase. He chuckled at my reaction. "Glad I make your heart race Tia bear" he said sitting on the bed in the guest room.

I look up into his beautiful green eyes and smile shyly. He looked up at me with a sad smile. Sitting next to him and sighed looked at the ground. "So I'm guessing your super wolf hearing heard all of that" I said.

"Yup" he said.

"So let me have it, give me your Alpha, I'm your mate, I'm not sharing lecture" I said looking up at him.

He shook his head. "From the gist of that conversation, you havn't gone that fair with Levi have you?" he said looking at me.

"I havn't gone that far with anyone" I said in a small voice. Looking up into Van's eyes they glowed. "That makes what we did earlier so much more special to me Tia" he said lifting his hand to my cheek. "I might seem arrogant, and controlling but I do have a heart. If you need to make things right with Levi then I understand. Just please don't let my dad hear him, he might not be so understanding" Van said looking at me.

In shock I lifted my head. "Your serious?" I said

"I love you Tia, and I hate hearing you crying like that. I heard you explain how hard this is for you. It must be hard to constantly think of your other mate when your with one. I'm guessing when you were with Levi you thought about me too?" he said looking at me. I nodded "I was going to talk to Levi about you coming to stay with us because I couldn't handle being away from you" I said looking down.

"Hearing that I've been in your thoughts makes me feel so much better about allowing him to come over. I know you need this, and I will give you whatever you need" he said with a small smile lacing his hands with mine "Just tell him that this is the first and the last time I'll allow this in my house" he said kissing me gently.

"If I hear groaning in the night I'm gonna come and kick his ass" he said with a grin. I kissed him gently. "You're the only one who has heard me groaning in pleasure" I whispered.

"And that's how I like it" he said with a grin kissing me back. I've brought your bag in. The shower is through that door, I'll see you in the morning Tia bear, we have your first day at my school and I want to show you off so please shower in the morning I dont want you smelling like another wolf at school" he growled.

"The only wolf I will smell like is you in the morning" I said as I kissed him gently. "Good night Van, your understanding means more to me than anything"

"Tell that bastard that if he ever makes you cry like that again, I will mark you on the spot disregarding the alpha promise and make you happy for your entire life" he said looking me in the eye.

"I will" I said nodding. "Night Tia" he said shutting my door.

Turning around I sat on the bed unpacking my bag, sure enough on the top of my clothes was Levi's spare football jersey, it was red and gold with a lion on the front. His number and name on the back. Walking to the shower I jumped in and lathered my body up with my body wash that I brought from home. Washing my hair I stood under the hot water to reflect quickly.

I can't believe how understanding Van had been I thought to myself. He really really does care for me. I don't know how many males, let alone Alpha's would do that for their mates. The urge to protect must be overruled by the urge to show love and compassion. He really was a beautiful man inside and out. Both Levi and Van were amazing men. Knowing my birthday was approaching in a few weeks I was grateful that I would be with one of these amazing men, just as long as Nate doesn't cause problems.

I thought me going away was a little over the top to begin with. I didn't want to hide from him Nate, I was sick of running and feeling scared. I wanted to prove to Nate that I wasn't scared and hiding. I didn't want him harassing Levi and Mom about me. I know what he's like, he's like a dog with a bone, going and going until he gets the answer. I thought if I gave him enough information he would back off which he did so I was glad for the peace for now. I still had to figure out a way to keep him off my back. The only thing I could think of was helping him find his own mate. That would defer his feelings for me.

Finishing my shower I dried my hair and body. Putting on Levi's jersey I looked in the mirror. I had to laugh at myself. My long dark hair was damp and wavy. My cheeks were flushed from the workout of drying my hair, and the football jersey was long enough that if I put a belt on I could wear it is a dress. Hahah thinking to myself I should totally do that on Saturday night, I still promised Mason I would wear his jersey to their first game. If I put his jersey, a belt and some tights on underneath I could totally rock the football jersey look.

Walking back into my room I stood in shock as I saw Levi standing near my window wearing a pair of dark jeans and a black hooded jumper. His blond hair all windswept, his eyes a light blue and his lips a rosy pink.

"Hey" I whispered looking at him biting my bottom lip gently.

"Hey princess, before you say anything let me get something off my chest" he said looking at me.

"I want you to know I'm falling in love with you. It broke my heart to hear you crying and I am so so sorry to know that I was the one who did that to you. Your feelings for the both of us is a part of you, I understand that now, and it would be unfair for me to continue punishing you for something that you can't control. I'm going to make you feel as loved and secure as I can. You are my mate, and I am yours, I don't care what you are to anyone else, all that I care about right now is how close our connection is. Like I said to you before I will want you even after your birthday, because my feelings for you go beyond the mated connection"

I smiled a genuine smile. "When you texted me I seriously thought I was going to be sick. I was so so upset that I didnt know what to do. It made me realise that I think I'm falling in love with you too" I said whispering to him.

"I've always loved Van, he's been my best friend for years. My feelings for him have been build on friendships love which is developing to be more because of the mated connection, BUT my connection with you has been built on romantic feelings which has increased due to the mates connection. Does that make sense to you or am I rambling?" I said looking at him slightly embarrassed.

He smiled the most heart warming dazzling smile I had ever seen. His dimples deepening and his eyes sparkling. "That that made SO much sense to me princess, and I am sooo happy to hear you feel that way about me" he said rushing forward and wrapping me into his arms. He leant down and kissed me gently. Savouring his kiss I sighed in delight as I felt myself melt into his hard lean body. For some reason kissing him and kissing Van were so different but both felt so right in different ways.

Breaking the kiss he laughed as he rested his hands on my hips. "You look so hot in my jersey right now, the only thing that would be hotter is if you weren't wearing any underwear" he said with a cheeky grin.

I giggled and pulled away from him, walking over to the bed I pulled back the covers and instead of slipping in I bent over slightly knowing the jersey was riding up the back of my thighs. Just as I felt them inching past the point of no return I heard him take a deep sharp breath in and I laughed scrambling under the blankets.

"Mason was right about you on your first day, you my princess are a minx!" he said I a husky deep voice as he pulled off his clothes leaving him in a pair of black silk boxers. I sat in bed marvelling in his tall lean muscular body. Before I let him get in with me I stopped him.

"I'm obligated to tell you a few things Mr Jackson. Firstly we will not be doing anything naughty tonight, I don't want to push Van's generosity and yes he knows your here, he heard us on the phone. Secondly he said no more sleep over's for you while I'm here. Thirdly he told me to tell you that if you ever make me cry again he will mark me and make me happy for every!. Fourthly dammm boy you have one of the hottest body's I've ever seen. Fithly thank you for coming tonight. Sixly I don't know why I'm doing this list and not wrapping myself in your arms so hurry up and get in now" I said grinning.

"Thank god cause that was one hell of a long list" he said laughing as flipped off the switched and climbed into bed with me. He wrapped his arms around my body pulling me close. I snuggling into his chest listening to his heart beat. After a few mins I felt him take a deep breath of my hair and relax. We both fell asleep relaxed and happy.

Waking up in the morning I was alone. I looked at my phone to check the time and found a txt. It was from Levi. ** Thanks for the sleep over last night princess it was just what we both needed. Say thanks to Van for me I know it must of been hard for him too. I'll txt you late xx Levi **

Jumping out of bed I jumped into the shower and had a good wash. Doing what Van asked of me I washed the scent of Levi off me. After the shower I dried my hair in a mass of curls, and put my make up on. Smacking on some cherry lip gloss I was ready to get dressed. Putting on a pair of blue skinny jeans and a black fitted top I slipped on my silver flats. Still wearing the Luna crystal I popped on a pair of blue crystal studs.

Smiling at my finished look I walked out the door to hear Van saying goodbye to his parents. His mom was a rural nurse that did rounds in the community and his dad was his principle so he had to get to work early. Walking down the stairs I was greeted to an extremly hot looking Van. He was wearing a pair of black jeans, a his blue and silver football jersey. His dark hair styled into short spikes with a few bits curling slightly.

"Good morning beautiful, you look as hot as ever" he said walking up to me with a big grin. Wrapping his arms around my body I heard him take a big sniff. "And you smell as lovely as ever too, thank you for showering" he said with a smile. I nodded and with that he showered my face, neck and exposed chest with kisses. He grabbed his varsity jacket and held it out for me to put on. Typical jock I thought to myself as I lifted my arms to put it on.

"You defiantly look hot in my clothes" he smiled. "Let's have some breakfast before we go" he said with a smile. Walking into the kitchen I saw that he had made my absolute favourite.

"Oh my gosh, is that cinnamon pancakes?" I squealed. Looking at him in awe. 'Yup with maple syrup I know how much you love them" I leant up and kissed him on the cheek and dug in.

'Everything ok with you and Levi?" he asked gently looking at me. I could see a hint of jealous sadness in his eyes. I lent across the table and grasped his hands. "Yes it is now, thank you so so much for allowing him and I that time to sort it out, I told him no more sleep overs while I'm here, so for now I'm all yours" I said with a grin.

"Good! I intend to make the most of your time" he said with a smile. After breakfast we made our way to his school. He insisted we took his car because my one look too much like a girls ride. We pulled up to the carpark and It was pretty similar to my school. All the popular kids hung out in a group near a gazebo, and we stopped everyone stared. Van just grinned at me and leant across his car to give me a quick peck. Getting out of the car he was greeted by a group of jocks who were hungrily eyeing me up in the passenger seat.

As I got out I saw a bunch of cheerleaders wearing short skirts and shorter tops glaring at me. Van came around to my side and wrapped an arm around me. Kissing my forehead he turned me around, "guys you remember Tia?"

I looked up to see some familiar faces. Realising these were some of the other kids we had grown up with. Looking up I recognised Nathan, Aaron and Carlos. "Hey guys, oh my gosh how big are you guys now flipping heck?" I said with a grin. 'I don't believe it, it is little Tia" Nathan laughed as he hugged me quickly. "You have defiantly grown up girl" he grinned.

"Hands to yourself Nath" Van growled gently wrapping his arm around me. "Hey Aaron, hey Carlos" I said smiling at the other two. "Hey Tia, so you're the girl that has this man whore on lock down?" Carlos laughed nudging Van gently. "I don't know if you could lock this one down, he's a wild one" I said joining in the laughter. "You totally have me on lock down Tia bear" he said grinning at me. "Holy crap he still calls you Tia bear" Carlos says laughing at the two of us punching Vans shoulder gently. The two of them break out in an impromptu wrestling match as my phone rings. Looking down at the number I see mom's number pop up.

"hey mom, whats up?"

"Sweetheart, you need to come to the hospital, something's happen. Nate attacked Levi unexpectedly, Levi was able to phase and they got into a huge fight this morning. Apparently Nate could smell your scent on Levi and he went psycho" she said in a rushed voice.

"Oh My GOD is Levi ok??" I said urgently.

"He's in bad shape, Nate is worse, they are both asking for you, can you please come, Ian is beside himself" she said.

"What??" I gasped.

"We will explain when you get here, just come please" she said hanging up.
