"Tia honey I have to go get dad and tell him that you've woken up, ill be back in a few ok" Levi said looking at me lovingly.

I nodded in agreement. He kissed me gently on the lips and stood up to make his way out of the room. I couldn't help but watch his ass as he walked out of the room, with a goofy grin I watched him disappear out of the room. Looking to my other side as I saw Van sleeping. Looking at him he looked so peaceful. Reaching out I winced at the dull ache in my shoulder. I brushed his hair as he slowly started to wake.

"Naughty Naughty, sleeping on the job" I giggled. He turned his head to the side keeping it on the mattress as he looked up at me. I shuffled to my side so we were looking at each other.

"I knew you would come back to us Tia bear" he whispered as he traced his hand with mine.

"I heard you didn't leave my side this whole time" I said looking at the bags under his eyes.

He chuckled. "I did pop out to get a little something for your birthday tomorrow, but I couldn't leave you. I wanted to be here when you finally woke up" he whispered. His voice cracked slightly. He really must have been worried I realised.

"I'm glad your face was the first one i saw" I said looking at him. It was true his face was the first one I had seen, knowing he was there had made me relax instantly. It had always been the case. He was like my safety blanket.

"So talking about presents do you wanna give me mine early" I said with a sparkle to my eyes. He just laughed his deep rich laugh. "You have always been so impatient...... I think I will make you wait missy"

I pouted. "Not fair I'm a cripple you have to do what I ask" I said trying to control the corner of my lips from slipping. "Actually Tia bear, you arn't a cripple. The wolf dr aka step dad has been investigating the healing properties of pure wolf blood. Apparently he has found that it increases the healing process in humans. With you tho because you already had wolf blood for it to bind too you healed in double the time. I bet if you stood up you would find that you might be a little stiff but you will actually be ok" Van said. Looking at him in shock I tilted my head to the side.

"When did you know about healing properties Mr Smart guy" I laughed as I pulled myself up into a sitting position noting that he was right I was a little stiff but was feeling pretty good.

"I'm looking at going into medicine when I leave school" he shrugged like it was no big deal. "Woah Van are you serious? How did I not know this, that is a great idea" I said grinning at him.

He looked a little shy as he rubbed the back of his head subconsciously. "I'm not gonna be some brain surgeon or anything, but I'm looking into sports medicine actually"

"Good for you Van, I think you would make a great dr to some professional football team or something like that" I said smiling at him.

"Thanks Tia, I know I would be good at it too. Actually I wanted to talk to you about that. If tomorrow we find out that I am your mate I want you to come with me to college. Would you want that?" he said looking at me with a scared face.

I reached out and grabbed his hand. "If tomorrow you are my mate, then it would take heaven and earth to make me leave your side" I said truthfully. "While we are on the subject, I want to talk to you about the mate thing. If it turns out that we aren't mates, are you going to hate me?" I said dropping my eyes. I felt and heard a low growl erupt from his chest. "Dont talk like that. IF we are not mates, then I will look for my other mate. I could never hate you. I'm sure it will hurt like hell but I know I'm lucky enough to have another mate out there for me somewhere. So I will be ok. BUT I don't wanna talk about it until we have to ok Tia bear. I just want to enjoy the time I have left with you and hope for the best tomorrow".

As he said this he leant forward and rested his forehead against mine taking a large breath in inhaling my scent. Bending down he pulled down my hospital gown revealing my chest slightly. Leaning down he kissed the spot over my heart

"You will always be my first love Tia. If we aren't destined then I will love you as my best friend forever. Don't ever forget that ok"

I looked up into his eyes as tears started to pool in my eyes. I hated the thought of hurting him. I hated the thought of him in pain because of me. It was killing me that I was inevitably going to break someone's heart. He smiled as he wiped the tears away from my cheeks with his thumb.

I heard my hospital room open as Ian and Levi walked in. Ian smiled at me. He asked me a few questions to check on how I was feeling. After a thorough check up he decided I was free to go home.

Both boys silently helped me pack up my stuff. Looking around I noticed at least 6 bunches of flowers. "Who are all the flowers from" I asked looking for cards.

Levi smiled as he wrapped an arm around my waist. Those daisies are from Rose, the sunflowers are from Mason, the mixture over there are from Dad and your mom, The white lillies are from me, the pink oriental lillies are from Van and that huge bunch or Red roses are from Nate" Levi growled at the last bit. I couldnt help but smile at the boys. "How did you two know I loved lillies" Van just grinned as he reached out for my spare hand. Neither boy looked angry at each other touching me. It was like they were trying to treasure what little time they had left with me.

"I've known you forever Tia, of course I would know what you liked" Van smiled as he grabbed a couple bunches of flowers. Levi grabbed to others.

"You two are getting along to well, should I be worried" I grinned half joking. The looked at each other tensly. "We have an agreement at the moment" Levi said not taking his eyes off Van.

"What do you mean agreement?" I asked curiously. "Neither one of us are leaving your side until your birth right decision tomorrow at your party" Van said squinting towards Levi.

"Hold on?? So you are both going to stay with me all night and all day tomorrow? How is that going to happen if I'm going home?"

"We have set up mattress's in the lounge" Levi said looking a little put out.

"You mean we're having a sleepover??" I asked as my voice went up an octane with excitement.

"We both just want to be with you before your decision tomorrow. We've agreed no fighting or arguing. But the minute you decide who ever doesn't end up with you has to graciously step down" Levi said not taking his eyes off Van.

Looking up at Van he felt my gaze as he looked back at me. His eyes softened as he shook his head in agreement.

I giggled in excitement. "Is it wrong that I am totally stoked to be having a sleep over with two extremely hot guys" I laughed.

Van rolled his eyes as Levi chuckled. "Only you would think that you little perve Tia bear"

"I'm blaming it on the hormones!" I said as the blood rushed to my cheeks. The both stiffened slightly and looked at me with blazing gazes.

Omg this is going to be one interesting night I thought to myself!

Before my dirty mind was able to run out of control something Van said sunk in.

"WAIT, did you say party??" I said stopping to a halt.

Levi growled looking at Van. "It was supposed to be a surprise but we are having a cocktail birthday party for you. During the party you will be asked to join the elders in a meeting room and you have to make your decision." Levi said looking at me intensely, knowing that after that meeting we will all know who my real Alpha mate was.

"And where exactly are we having this cocktail party?" I asked trying to deflect the conversation.

"Rose and a few other of your girlfriends have booked the Pacific ocean lounge beside the beach" Levi said looking at me with a smile. I didn't know much about the place but I knew it was the perfect place for a cocktail party, it was modern and chic. It had a huge outdoor area looking over the ocean.

"What if I hadn't of woken up?" I said looking at the two of them. Van laughed. "Trust me Rose has been stressing about it all week. At one point she said if you didn't wake up by yourself she was going to find a way to wake you up."

I just shook my head grinning. Trust Rose to think like that.

"Come on you two lets get home I wanna have a shower and get into some pj's for my first co-ed sleep over" I said waggling my eyebrows laughing.

We jumped into Levi's car and made our way home.

Sitting in the car with Levi and Van was like an out of body experience. They were chatting away about my upcoming party like they were old friends.

I looked to my side seeing Levi in the driver's side. He smiled a warm happy smile. I knew both guys were happy that I was going home with them. All I could think about was how awkward having a sleep over with them would be.

"So Tia, what are you going to wear to your party?" Van said with a wolfish grin.

"I'm guessing you want me to cover up" I said looking at the two of them. I saw Levi nod slightly.

Whereas Van cracked up laughing. "I couldn't force you to cover up even if I tried. I know you, you would purposely wear the most revealing thing you owned if either one of us tried to control you like that".

A giggle escaped my lips as I bit my lower lip. Levi eyes widened at this. He was probably storing that little bit of information into his memory banks for later I thought to myself.

"Ahhhh you know me so well Evander" I said with a laugh. "hmm well considering I only just found out about this little party I have no idea what I'm going to wear probably a LBD" I said with a shrug.

Both boys looked at me like I was talking in tongues. "Little black dress" I said in slowly pronouncing each syllable. Rolling my eyes as they finally clicked onto what I was talking about.

Pulling up to the house they both grabbed everything insisting I took it easy. I smiled as my two mates doted over me. I secretly loved this, loved that they were getting along. Would it be selfish if I didn't decide tomorrow I thought to myself. Then I would get to keep both of them.

I thought about the possibility for a second until reality hit me. I couldn't do that to them. I couldn't do that to their families and their packs. They were both destined to be strong Alphas and having only half of a Luna wouldn't suffice in the pack hierarchy each pack held. They would both be challenged and probably loose their packs if I was selfish enough to try and keep them both. No I couldn't do that.

Walking into the pool house I noticed that the couches had been pushed to the back of the lounge. On the ground was three single mattresses set up facing the tv. My purple pillow and blanket on the middle mattress. The one to the right had Levi's pillow and blankets, and the one on the other side of my bed had a spare pillow and blanket that I knew we kept in the laundry.

I cracked up laughing as I saw this. "This is freakin hilarious" I said out loud. Both Levi walked out of his room as Van walked out of the kitchen.

"What is honey" Levi said looking confused. He had already changed into a pair of basketball shorts with a white wife beater singlet on.

Seeing his golden body I stopped mid laugh and looked at him with a sly grin. My heart beat increased and I flushed a deep red blush. Sensing my reaction he smiled a smug grin knowing his appearance had effected me so much. Seeing this I rolled my eyes and walked to my room.

"I'm just gonna have a shower and ill be out in a bit" I said shutting my door.

Van followed me and walked into my room shutting the door behind him. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Yes Evander?" I asked seeing the cheeky look on his face.

"Just thought I would see if you need help undressing since you're a cripple remember" He said with a gorgeous smile. Looking at Van I took in all 6 foot 3 of him. He was still the same Van that I had grown up with but now he was more manly, more muscular, more...... just more. I don't know how I didn't see him like this before now but now I realised how absolutely sexy he was. He sniffed the air knowing that I was seeing him in a new light.

I shook my head as thoughts of him undressing me rushed to the front of my mind. "No I need to clear my head and calm down" I said closing my eyes. I opened them just to see that he had closed the distance between the two of us. Just inches away from me now his scent hit my nose. It was warm and spicy. Inhaling his essence a hot wave of desire rushed through my bones. I leant into him resting my head on his hard chest.

"You have to go Van, I really really need to take a cold shower" I whispered.

"I love that I can do that to you" he whispered to me. Leaning into me gently. He brushed his lips against mine and kissed me gently.

"Ill be just outside if you need me Tia bear" he said taking a step back. I opened my eyes just to see him turning around. "Levi's ordered pizza so I hope your hungry" he said with a grin.

I smiled, still dazed by the soft kiss. Dammm I thought to myself these two are pushing my body into overdrive with all the fluctuations of emotions.

I

jumped into the shower and did the three S's. Shower, Shampoo and Shave. Afterwards I jumped out and dried my body. Blow drying my hair gently leaving it half damp I walked over to my chest of drawers. Pulling out a pair of pj's. A purple pair of silk boxers and a matching singlet.

Walking out of my room I noticed Levi sitting on his mattress going through his phone. He hadn't heard me walk in. I walked up behind him intending on scaring him. Tip toeing behind him I was about to pounce when he whipped around with a wolfish grin on his lips and threw me down onto the mattress. I giggled like mad as I landed into the softness of the blankets.

A deep sexy growl rumbled from his chest as he lay on top of me resting his arms on either side of me.

"You sneaky little minx" he growled nipping at my earlobe.

I giggled at the feeling of his lips on me. "Where's Van?" I whispered as I pushed my body up against his.

"He's gone to the main house to pay for the pizza" Levi growled grinding his body against mine. The texture of his clothing rubbing against my bare skin made me tingle all over.

Knowing Van would be back any second I kissed Levi gently on the lips and made the motion of wanting to sit up. He got the hind and reluctantly pulled himself off me. Facing me he looked at me with a sparkle in his eye.

"So do you want my present now or tomorrow?" He said with a grin.

I spun around and squealed. "Now now NOW" I laughed with a smile. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little silk box.

I reached out and held the box. My body was tingling with excitement. I know he has already given me a few pieces of jewellery but for some reason I felt that this one was going to be special.

I opened the small box and found the most beautiful silver ring in it. It was delicate yet strong. In the middle of the ring was a gorgeous clear purple stone surrounded by white crystals.

I gasped it was absolutely breathtaking. My hand rushed to my neck in surprise. I looked up from the box into Levi's eyes. He was staring at me with such an intensity that the butterflies that were in my belly erupted into a full blown swarm of butterflies.

Sitting on the mattresses facing each other he reached out and grabbed the box. My heart was swelling with love for him. Oh my god is he proposing something inside me wondered. And why was I so excited at that prospect?

Levi laughed a deep rich laugh. "Breath Tia, its not an engagement ring" he whispered as he grabbed my right hand. Hearing him answer my suspicions I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

He must of seen the disappointment written all over my face. Because he reached up and caressed my cheek. "Don't frown sweetie, you will get a proposal one day... I hope with all my heart it will be me" he said with a smile. I looked up at my step brother. He was every girls dream come true.

He was Strong as I could tell from his muscles flexing under his white singlet, drop dead gorgeous from his sharp angular jaw line, golden tan, scruffy blond hair to his heart warming smile and to top it off his deep dimples. Any girl would be out of her mind if they didn't want him waiting at the end of that alter one day.

"This is a promise ring" he said grabbing the ring out of the box. "This is my promise to you. I promise that I will care for you, be kind to you, be true to only you, be strong for you and if we are mates then I will love you forever. If we aren't meant to be then I will still do all those things but as a brother to you" he said the last bit in a whisper.

He looked into my eyes with such intensity that I felt like I was staring into his soul. I had never felt words so true in my life. "Do you except my promise ring?" he asked looking worried.

I hummed pretending to think about it. I saw the anxiety rush through his body. "Of course I except it" I said with a grin and I leant forward and gave him the sweetest kiss I could. Pulling away I looked at him and he was glowing with happiness. He slid the ring on my middle finger on my right hand. Holding my hand out to get a better look he wrapped himself around my waist from behind to look at it too.

"Suits you" he said smiling into my neck. "I cant wait until you have my real ring on your other hand tho" he said with a kiss to me jaw line. I giggled and nodded. It would be nice to belong to someone I thought to myself.

At that moment Van walked in with the pizza. Looking up at him I knew he had heard some of that gift exchange. I just smiled at him and held out my hand.

"I twisted Levi to give me his gift early, its beautiful aye" I said holding out my hand.

Van looked at Levi instantly and back at me. I shook my head slightly and he understood. I knew what that look was about. He wanted to know if that was an engagement ring too. Seeing the small sense of relief wash over him he smiled and nodded. "Its nice, your favourite colour" he said with a small smile grabbing some plates.

"Lets eat before this gets cold" he said handing me a plate with my favourite pieces on it.

After dinner I was exhausted. The boys wanted to watch a movie so we all snuggled into our mattresses. Me in the middle and one boy on either side. As the movie started I drifted off to sleep.

During the night I started to get hot. Waking up in a sleepy state I looked around in the dark for my phone that I had placed on my bed. Sliding the screen lock off the phone lit up illuminating the room slightly. Looking to my left and right I realised why I was so freakin hot. Van and Levi had pushed their mattresses flush against mine. Van had his body wrapped around mine from behind spooning me. Levi was in front of me inches away from my face. His hands tangled into my hair and body curved towards mine.

Aghhh stupid possessive alpha's I moaned internally. Shaking them both trying to wake them was useless. They both just grunted and moved closer to me. Lifting my free arm I threw the blanket off me allowing some fresh air to cool me down. Relaxing slightly as my body temperature became more comfortable I drifted back off to sleep with a grin. I was loving being loved by both guys.

Waking up in the morning was a slightly more uncomfortable. I'm sure all women know what im talking about. Waking up to two very alert very aroused males is every girls wet dream right... at this moment I felt more then uncomfortable. Pushing Levi back slightly and Van off me I hissed.

"You two both need to go for a cold shower and stop groping at me" I said in a pissed off voice. At that moment they both popped their eyes open and blushed in embarrassment. Levi got up and walked to his room in a quick manner. Obviously not feeling comfortable with a boner in front of Van.

Van just smiled and rolled me over and kissed me softly. "Happy Birthday Tia bear" he said as he pulled himself up and walked to my room obviously going for that cold shower I suggested.

Both boys were in the shower as I jumped up to start tidying our beds. Folding all the blankets I heard my phone ringing.

"Hello"? I said.

"Happy Birthday girl" Rose's voice yelled down my phone. I laughed at her enthusiasm. Tell Levi to clear out of the house because I'm coming over for a pamper session before your party tonight she giggled.

I smiled at my crazy friends plans. Looking at the time I realised it was already lunch time and she was right I needed to start thinking about getting ready for my party. We agreed that she would come over in the next half an hour and we would slowly get ready.

The boys came out both looking refreshed. Levi looking a little uncomfortable but smiling all the same. "Ive been given clear instructions to ask you two to leave!" I said grinning. "Rose is coming over and we are doing a pamper session before my party"

Both males growled looking pissed off. "No I am not leaving your side" Levi said in a dominant alpha tone. "Neither am I" Van growled equally. I put my hands on my hips giving them a challenging look.

"I will see both of you at the party" I said rolling my eyes. "Now get, I have to someone make myself party worthy. And anyways its my birthday you have to do what I asked" I said putting on a little pout knowing they would both fall for it hook line and sinker. IN all honesty I was glad to have them around but I was also looking forward to having some alone time, I wanted to make myself look extra special.

Both boys said their goodbyes, each one pulling me into a room alone and kissing me longingly. After they left I walked to my room deciding what to wear. As I was walking around mom called explaining that her and Ian were sorry but they were at work. She said they were looking forward to tonight and that they would meet me there. "We have a special surprise for you, you will see it soon, sorry sweetheart we will see you there tho ok" Mom said apologetically.

I knew she felt bad for not being around for my birthday but I knew they had responsibilities at the hospital. I understood. I was happy doing my own thing, I also knew Rose was coming around so I didn't need to stress. Smiling to myself I wondered what the surprise would be.

Looking into my wardrobe I had a number of dresses that I could choose from. Flicking through the rack I found the one that I knew would be perfect. Pulling it out I placed it on the bed. It was a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline. The top half was silver and looked glittery. The skirt was black and flowed mid thigh perfectly. Pulling out the luna necklace I placed it on my side table. Pulling out a pair of black pumps I was set. Undressing quickly I showered, washing my hair with my favourite shampoo and lathering up my body with a Gucci body wash that matched my perfume.

Jumping out of the shower I heard Rose arrive.

"Hey babes" she said walking into my room with an armful of girly products. "Looks like I arrived just in time" she grinned.

After a few hours of primping and preening Rose and I stood in front of my mirror looking at our reflections in awe or the final product. Rose was wearing a blue one shoulder dress that came mid thigh. She had her hair pulled back into a messy bun on the top of her head with a pair of dramatic black earings with a matching black ring. On her feet she wore a pair of black heels. She had a sleek Cleopatra style flick of her eyeliner and bright red lips. She looked amazing.

Standing next to her I smiled at myself. Although she was sharp and edgy I was more flirty and stylish. The top part of my dress hugged women curves perfectly making my shoulders look golden yet slim.

The black skirt flowed mid thigh giving me a flirty look. My hair was parted to give me a side sweeping fringe framing my face nicely as it curled down my spine. The Luna necklace sparkled beautifully as it matched my dress. On my right hand Levi's present added a hint of colour. Checking out my makeup I was amazed at Rose's handy work. My skin looked flawless. She gave me a dewy rosy blush with a smoky eye. She added a few individual lashes making my eyes look open and alert. A touch of pink gloss on my lips finished my look.

"WOW Rose you are seriously amazing" I said giggling at the two of us swishing around the mirror. "Just remember your best friend in your thank you speech" she said laughing at me. "You really are my best girlfriend Rose" I said seriously. "Thank you for everything, I am so lucky to have you around" I said grabbing at her hand. She smiled and gave me a hug. "You're my best friend too...I knew from day one that we were going to be good friends" she said grinning at me.

We grabbed our clutches filling them with what we thought we would need, phones, gloss, ID (for the clubbing that we were planning on doing after the party) and money.

Just as we were about to start walking out the door I received a msg from mom. "Your chariot will arrive shortly birthday girl"

Walking outside of my room I was shocked to see my friends. The first pair of eyes I see are Levi's. He looked dropped dead gorgeous. He was wearing a black pair of dress pants with a fitted white dress shirt and a skinny black tie. Looking like a bloody model it took all my will power not to run into his arms. His hair was styled into a messy but classy way. He was clean shaven and his eyes sparkled like the pacific ocean.

Turning to the other side of the room I see Van. He too was wearing a pair of black dress pants but with a deep blue dress shirt with the top buttons unclasped casually. The peak of his chest showing the smooth planes of his hard chest. Looking into his green eyes he smiles a breath taking smile. His dark hair was styled with product that made his hair curl on the tips. In the middle of this motley crew were Mason and Liam, Mason with a date. I didn't recognise the girl.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" They yelled popping party poppers as I walked out. Laughing I realised they all held fruity looking cocktails.

Laughing I turned to Rose. "You arranged this didnt you" I said giving her a hug. "Among other things yes" she said smiling.

"We thought you would want to have a few drinkies before the party, you know to get you in the mood" she said reaching for 2 long glasses that was adorned with a strawberry and a little umbrella. Before I was able to reach out for the glass I felt a pair of hands on my hips swirling me around. Levi stood in front of me grinning. He grabbed my hand and slowly twirled me around taking in every inch of my preened self. He whistles a long whistle. "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen" he whispers into my ear as he pulls me into a hug.

Looking around I see Mason giving us both a questioning look obviously he had questions to ask about the two of us after our outburst at the bonfire. Walking up to Mason I gave him a quick hug. "Thanks for coming, and thanks for visiting me at the hospital and the beautiful flowers" I said to both Mason and Liam giving him a quick hug too.

"Of course" Mason grinned. "Tia, I want you to meet Ava my mate" Mason said looking proudly at the small blonde girl.

"Oh my god Mason congratulations!!" I gushed as I wrapped myself around him in a excited hug. As I pulled myself off him I pulled Ava into a warm hug too. "It is so nice to meet you Ava!" I said with a smile. "You are a very lucky girl" I said looking at the two of them. "I'm the lucky one" Mason said pulling Ava into a one armed cuddle kissing her temple.

"Tell me all about how you met" I asked quickly. Mason looked up behind me and turned back to me. "Perhaps another time baby girl, I'm getting the evil eye from my lovely twin. He said with a sarcastic smile at her.

"Absolutely" I said with a laugh. "It really is lovely to meet you Ava" I said again.

"Thanks for having me at your party" she said shyly tucking herself into Masons body.

I couldn't help but grin at how sweet they were. Looking to the intricate swirl on her neck I could faintly see Masons initials in the swirly scar. Realising they had mated I grinned. "Of course!" I said "By the looks of that pretty swirl on your neck you are more then welcome to hang out with us now" I said winking at Mason knowingly. Ava laughed subconsciously rubbing her mate's mark on her neck. Something inside me swelled with excitement that I would soon have a mark on my neck too. I was just wondering who's initials would be in my own mark.

Turning to Van he smiled giving me a warm hug. "You look amazing" he said with a wolfish smile. "Thanks you look great too" I said with giggle as I saw him eyeing me up hungrily.

Rose handed me my cocktail as we chatted and laughed waiting for our ride. 2 cocktails later I was feeling relaxed and happy. Happy to be surrounded by friends and getting excited about going to the party.

We all heard a knock on the door. Walking over to the door Levi was welcomed by a man in a black suit. "Is Tia Vaughn here?" he said in a posh sounding voice.

I walked to the door with a smile "I'm here" I said looking at the man.

He eyed me up in surprised and a sly grin slid onto his face. Levi growled and tried to slam the door in his face. I realised a moment before he did and took a step into the doorframe preventing him from slamming it.

Rolling my eyes I looked at the driver and then over his shoulder. Outside was a long black stretch hummer. Giggling in excitement I screamed for everyone to get their stuff and jump into our ride. We all piled into the car, the driver helping me personally. Van and Levi both looked pissed off that he had his hands on my hips as I pulled myself into the car. I just laughed at how over protective they both were. In no time we were sitting on the long leather seats laughing at the flurescent lights sipping champaigne. The driver pumped up the music as we all laughed and sung along to the music. Half an hour later we turned up to the Venue.

Walking inside it had a welcome sign in the reception area. "Pacific Ocean Lounge wishes Tia Vaughn a Happy 18th Birthday" Looking into the room I realised that the whole place had been hired out for my birthday. It was packed with pretty much the whole senior student body including all of the packs teenagers and college students. The room was decorated with silver and purple everything, from lights to balloons. Feeling anxious I turned around biting my lip only to meet Levi's warm soft eyes as he smiled at me. "Come on birthday girl, lets get this party bumpin" he said in a sexy pur as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

Looking at him appolgetically I put on my puppy eyes. "Actually if its ok with you I'd like to walk in with Rose, she did organise all of this, I feel its only fitting" I said. Levi smiled and happy smile. Leaning forward he kissed my cheek. Brushing past my earlobe he whispered. "You are the perfect girl, you will make a great Luna at my side" he said happily. Hearing him say that I felt a warm rush of emotion flow through me. I loved that he approved of my thoughtful side. It made me feel like I was worthy to be by his side.

Grabbing Rose's hand we giggled as Levi and Van opened the doors on either side and we walked in. As everyone realised I had arrived they cheered. Looking around I realised they had obviously been waiting a little while because half of them looked tipsy already.

Walking through the crowd everyone wished me happy birthday. Drinks were flowing and music was blasting. Looking around the party was obviously about to hit full blast. Just as I was about to head to a waiter to get a drink Mason pulled me around. He handed me a black glittery bag. "This is from me and Ava" he said with a smile. Looking up at the two of them I smiled. "Thanks guys you didnt have to get me anything, but I lovvvvvve presents so thanks!!" I opened the bag to find a huge black pimp cup that was decorated with sparkly gems. ON the front it said "It's Tia, Bitch" I cracked up laughing as I held up the cup.

"This is freakin awesome Mason! Thanks Ava" I said hugging them quickly. Just as I pulled away Liam tipped a drink into the cup. "Drink up birthday girl" he said as everyone laughed. Downing my drink I saw that neither Levi or Van were drinking. Acutally both guys looked anxious.... Standing there I realised they must be nervous about my decision. I had already decided what I was going to do, but I didn't want to think about it until I had too.

"Lets dance!" I yelled over the music. Our group made their way to the dance floor. Looking around I knew Levi, Liam and Mason were popular at our school but I didnt realise just how popular they were..and now they had Van in tow also it felt like I was with 4 gods the way the girls stared seductively at them. I felt like the crowd parted as we made our way there. During the little trip people were pouring liquid from their cups into my big cup. Laughing to myself I realised I was going to extremely sick in the morning from all this mixing.

Rose had one arm wrapped in mine, and I reached out to grab Ava's arm and giggled as we found a spot on the dance floor. The music was bumping and the lights were flashing. We danced for a few songs laughing as the boys did lame dances like the running man and the carlton dance from fresh prince. Levi and Liam disappeared during the dancing and I stood on tippy toes to look for them. Before I was able to do anything the music dimmed and a light flowed to the raised stage.

On the stage stood Levi and Liam. "Can I please have everyone's attention" Levi said from the stage with a gleam in his eye. "As we all know we are here to celebrate the beautiful Tia's 18th birthday, come up here Tia" he said motioning me to join him. The party goers cheered encouraging me to get up there. Feeling slightly embarrassed a laughed as I walked up to the stage. Smiling at the boys I stood next to them.

Standing there Levi winked at me and started his speech "As we all know our lovely Tia has been in hospital and this is her first outing since. We all want to wish you a happy birthday Tia" He said raising his glass to me. Everyone cheered and whistled as they toasted me.

"So as tradition, I have 10 flower Hawaiian lei's for you. For those who dont know our tradition here it goes. History says that we have a true soul mate out there. Our ancestors were given 10 flowers to help them find their soul mates on their 18th birthday. Present this flower lei to 10 males in exchange for a kiss" "It's supposed to help you find the right one......but it also guarantees you at least 10 hook ups" He laughs the crowed erupt into a cheer as I hear some guys wolf whistling.

"Sooo.... Come and get them" Levi says reaching out for the lei's Liam was holding looking at me with a wolfish smug look. Looking into the crowd nervously I downed the contents of my pimp cup as the crowd laughed. Walking to Levi I reached out for the Lei's. Grabbing the mic off him I turned to the crowed. "Hey everyone!" I said as a cheer erupted. "thanks so much for joining me on my big day! Drink heaps but be safe!" I said with a grin. "I just want to thank the bestest girl friend in the world, Rose! She arranged all of this thanks babes!" I said as I blew her a kiss. Everyone looked towards her. Van laughed and grabbed her hand and twirled her as she giggled ending in cute curtsey.

"So since I have these lei's who wants one?" I yelled into the mic over the music. Everyone cheered and laughed and at least 20 guys hands shot up, some yelling "Hell yea give me one" - "Stuff one I want 3" one guy yelled. I cracked up laughing. Turning around facing Levi I pulled off a Lei. "So Levi.......come get it" I said in a seductive voice as the crowd erupted into wolf whistles and cheering.

He turned to me with a sexy smile and closed the distance between us in one step as he wrapped his hands around my body pulling me flush against his chest. I could feel the hard planes of his chest and abs against his clothing. Feeling his hot breath on my lips he dipped his head to mine and kissed me passionately. I heard everyone whistling... some were gasping in shock... obviously knowing we were step brother and sister.

I zoned out focusing on the kiss. His soft lips were all I could feel, taste and think about. Realising this could actually be our last kiss I deepened the kiss by wrapping my arms around his neck and drawing him closer. He lifted me slightly as my body curved to mould to his. Running out of breath I pulled away gently. As I did so he kissed me softly a few times sucking on my bottom lip. Groaning into his lips I opened my eyes to see him staring at me deeply.

Realising we just put a show on for my party guests I laughed and turned to them. "Next please!" I yelled as they exploded into a mass of laughter and cheering. The music pumped back up as I turned back to Levi. He grinned at me as Rose rushed to my side. "Woah guys that was one hot kiss" she said laughing. I looked up to see Van by her side looking at me he smiled shyly.

"Van.... would you except this rose" I said in my pretend bachelorette voice

"do I get a overnight date?" he said playing along with my silliness. "hmmm ask me later tonight" I said giggling. He laughed at the irony of it all as he reached out and kissed me. It was just as passionate as Levi's. Pulling away I felt light headed. Dammmm I thought to myself if the 8 other kisses are anything like these I'm in trouble!.

Turning around I smacked into another hard chest inhaling I recognised the scent immediately. Looking up I saw Nate standing in front of me. He looked the same, tall, dark and intoxicating. Looking at him I felt the same wave of disgust roll through me as normal.

"Oh hey" I said awkwardly turning around to see both Levi and Van were flanked at my sides. "Call the hound dogs off Tia" he said with a genuine looking smile. Raising an eyebrow I looked at his suspiciously. "I know I'm not your favourite person but I just came to wish you happy birthday. I'm not sure if you know but I found my mate" He said with a happy smile. Looking at him confused I thought out loud. "I heard, congratulations.... but I also heard you rejected her" I said looking at him.

Nate growled a deep angry growl. Levi and Van instantly reacted grabbing me and putting me behind the two of them. "NO I would never reject her" Nate growled. "I've been looking for her for a while, I was hoping she would be here" he said looking around.

"We heard you had rejected her and she ran away" Rose cut in from the sidelines.

Looking confused Nate looked at us. "Who told you that?" he said looking angry. "It was some gossip we heard" Rose said looking just as confused. Nate shook his head. "Happy birthday Tia, I really am sorry for everything I promise. I have to find Natalia" he said. I stepped back in front of Levi and Van. Something didn't feel right about this I thought to myself. "Thanks Nate" I said with a smile. "I really hope you find her, I'm glad you have found your mate, I wish you all the best"

He stepped forward and gave me a hug, kissing me on the cheek he pulled back smiling down at me. "Thank you Tia, I really did love you.... but it wasn't real love, the way I feel for Natalia is right" he said. I nodded as he pulled away looking into the crowd looking for her.

"That was weird" Levi said shaking his head.

"I know right!" I said

"Aghh who cares, lets get krunnnnnk" Rose laughed pouring more drinks into my pimp cup. A hour into the party I had'nt handed out anymore lei's I didnt want to look for my mate, I had already found 2 of them.

Just as we were about to get another round of drinks I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around I saw sober looking girl there. She was wearing a sober driver bracelet on her hand. "Hey Tia, your mom and the Alpha want to see you in the next room"

I nodded and thanked her. - This is it, I thought to myself. Turning aroud I saw both Levi and Van were standing there looking at me with anxious eyes.... this was it I had to decide if I was going to be a wolf or human.... and in the process I'm losing a mate.... I felt sick with anxiety. The both nodded at me smiling softly. Downing my drink I grabbed Rose's hand and dragged her with me.

"I'm off to meet the elders to declare my decision, I need you to wait for me please" I said looking at her anxiously. She nodded knowingly and stood at the door as I walked in........

"Welcome Tia" Ian said looking at me with a smile...

"Lets cut to the chase, since you have a party going on" he said as the elders nodded.

"What say you?"

"Wolf, I choose wolf" I said firmly.

"So be it, I as Alpha accept you Tia Vaughn into my pack as a full blooded wolf. Hear my alpha tone, I demand your human blood be removed immediately."

The minute I heard those words ring through my body I felt a hot rush of energy run through me. A tingling feeling ran through my spine, reaching my toes. I closed my eyes as I felt my wolf emerge within. She was ecstatic to be welcomed into my heart and our pack. I felt the joy in her soul as she rejoiced in being made whole with my soul. Her energy ran deep into my core. Feeling her power and an ancient magic running through my body I felt instantly at peace.

I opened my eyes to see Ian and mom looking at me lovingly. Mom reached forward immediately with a small bowl in her hand. I looked at her confused. She nodded as I felt another pair of hands grasp my hair as she gently pulled my head forward. Looking down she was holding a small silver bowl.

Realising what was happening I felt blood rushing down my nose into the bowl. Looking at her with a shocked look she just said gently. "Its your human blood honey, its being pushed out of your body by your wolf. Don't worry we have a ceremony tomorrow and bury the blood" she says with a smile. After a few minutes of bleeding the bowl is full and has stopped. Mom handed me a few tissues to tidy any drops that I missed.

Kissing me on the head she hugs me with tears in her eyes. "Happy birthday my baby" she says. "Thanks mom". Ian joins our little hug. "Welcome to the pack Tia" he says kissing my head.

I turn to see the elders smiling down at me. I nod to them all in appreciation. "Go get back to your friends and fill them in" Mom said with a smile. "Thanks Mom, ill come see you in a few ok" I said with a smile looking forward to seeing Levi and Van.

Opening the door I see Rose looking at me expectantly. Before I am able to say or do anything I see a large man approach her from behind. My eyes widen in shock and fear as my inner wolf screams at me to run, I see him wrap a white cloth around her mouth. In that instant I feel something wrap around my lips also..... enhaling chemicals my eyes roll to the back of my head, and for the 2nd time in 2 weeks I black out......
