I ran from Van laughing running towards the garden. I really do live in an amazing place I thought to myself. I saw some people relaxing on some sun chairs on the manicured lawns with some big sun umbrellas. I turn around to see Van swoop me up and throwing me up on his shoulder. I screamed, laughing as he carried me back to the pool. People were laughing along, watching me struggling against Vans body. We approached the pool as I started yelling out "I'm sorry Van I'm sorry!! Please don't drop me into the pool, Rose spent ages on my hair and I don't want her to be angry pleasssseee"

He stops and I feel him shaking his head. "Ok Tia bear but you owe me a dance later" he laughed as he put me down. He grins at me as I look so relieved at him. I nod as I look around at all the guests .

Looking around there were a combination of other wolves and humans at the party, and by looking at how fast the atmosphere had picked up there looked to be alot of alcohol. Haha not that I'm complaining, I plan to get tipsy, dance my ass off then crawl into my bed and crash out.

I look around as I see Levi and Mason standing on what looks like to be a raised stage next to the pool. I look up to see him staring at me. He looks me up and down and a cheeky grin reaches his lips. I awkwardly smile grabbing Van's arm dragging him to look for Rose and a drink. We walk over to a table laden with alcohol.

As we start to pour ourselves some punch that smelt potent but actually tasted really yummy, I hear as someone sighs with disgust behind us. I turn around to see Natalia and 2 friends looking at me with a scowl on her face. "Evander honey what are you doing with this trash" she says.

I look up at Van confused to see him looking uncomfortable. "Tia this is Nat, the girl I was seeing a while ago the one I told you about" I choke on my drink as I crack up laughing. "You mean this is the chick that you caught snooping in your underwear draw sniffing your jocks"

I heard people crack up laughing around us obviously hearing what I had said. Natalia shrills in anger as I hear her friends next to her b*tching about why I was even invited to the party. Van holds his stomach as he cracks up laughing at what I said. It's hard not to perve at him as his stomach muscles contract exposing his abs in the process.

"I can't believe you told her that" Natalia fumes.

"I can't believe you did that you freak" I interrupt.

"it's not true" she growls.

"Are you calling me a liar?" I leer at her.

She rolls her eyes and turns on her heels and walks away. "What ever you ugly b*tch"

Before anything could happen Levi and Mason appear in front of her stopping her path.

"What did you just call her?" Mason growled. Everyone stopped talking and stared at the two boys looking at Natalia and her friends.

"agh whats the big deal, she's a nobody" one of her friends says, while flicking her hair.

Mason looks the girl up and down with a look of disgust on his face "the deal is this dogg face, this is my party and she is my friend, I don't like what I heard so you 3 can just f*ck off"

Natalia rolls her eyes and walks up to Levi running a hand down his arm. "Babe you arn't gonna let him talk to us like that are you?"

Levi looks at her with a straight face. "You heard the man it's his party and he wants you to leave" he said bluntly.

Natalia turned on her charms trying to look sexy... but yet again she just looked like she just sucked on a lemon. "but its your house babe, you don't really want me to go do you?"

He looks at her with his blue eyes hardening. "Why don't you answer our first question and ill make a decision. What did you say to her?" She looks at him with a guilty look. "ok so I might has called her an ugly b*tch, but she is I'm only being honest" she says throwing me a angry glare and looking at Levi

smugly.

Liam approaches the group with a look of amazement. "are you serious? She's one of the hottest chicks here, if not the hottest" he says throwing me a wink.

Levi growls and walks over and grabs me by the waist and puts me between Mason and himself. I see Van nearly rip me out of his arms but I shake my head quickly. His eyes just zooms into Levis arm around my hips and glares but nods.

Levi looks at me and pulls me tighter. "You come to our house" nodding to indicate he was including me in his definition of 'our' "insult Tia and disrespect Mason at his own party, and seriously think I'm going to stand here and tell you to stay?"

Natalia looks so angry that her head could totally spin around and spew green gunk.

I lean forward and say quietly. "I think that's your cue to leave" I say with a sarcastic smile.

Natalia throws her pink drink in my face and walks away.

I gasp at how cold the drink is and stand there in shock as I realise what she's done. Levi looks at me in shock. I look down to see the pink drink dripping down my front in between my breasts.

Before I can say anything Mason wipes a finger up my chest and licks his finger.

"JUICY" He yells laughing.

I look at him with his stupid grin on his face and crack up laughing with that everyone laughs too.

Rose approaches me with a towel shaking her head. "Come on lets go get you changed, I have a spare bikini you can wear, you need to soak your clothes cause that stuff will stain"

I grab the towel and nod. "see you guys in a few" I say to the group and walk off towards my room.

Walking to my room Rose and I laugh at how angry Natalia looked. When we get in the room she gives me the spare bikini with a cheeky grin and sends me on my way.

"white? Your giving me a white bikini?" I ask.

"actually I brought this one for you initially because I thought I would complement your natural tan"

I roll my eyes as I walk away. "I have to keep my eye on you Rose" I laugh.

While I was in the bathroom getting changed I hear my phone ringing. "Rose can you see who that is please"

"it has private number" she yells.

Hmmm who could that be? My heart drops as I think of only one person who I could be.

"Just ignore it then, it can go to voicemail" I say quickly.

"Ok, hurry up I wanna see how it looks on you" she moans.

I dry myself off and chuck some water in my sink putting my stained clothes in the sink. I put on the new white bikini and look at myself in the mirror.

"wow, this does look good" I say out loud.

Rose walks into the bathroom to check it out.

"Yes, yes I have excellent taste" she says in a pretend posh voice. "Hold on let me fix up your hair" she grabs my hair and teases it a bit, then places it into a high pony tail making my cheekbones look like a model. "Lets go get some drinks before the birthday announcement starts".

We walk back out to the party and find see Van chatting to a few girls. He looks at me and whistles "this is a wayyyy better bikini, cant wait to see you get wet"

"its lined you perve" I say as I laugh. "we're gonna get some drinks"

"ill come with" he says as I see the girls he was talking to looking annoyed that he was going to leave.

I wink at the girls and turn to him. "nah we'll be alright you look like your having fun, stay and chat. Ill catch up with you in a few". They smile at me and look at him waiting for his answer.

"sounds good" he says turning on his prince charming smile to the girls.

Me and Rose laugh as we grab our drinks.

"Van sure is gorgeous" she laughs.

"Yea but he knows it" I laugh back.

We look around to see the Levi and Mason standing on a small stage next to the pool. Levi holding what looks like a microphone.

"Hey Everyone!" he says into the microphone. I look around to try and find the speakers but see they are coming from artificial rocks next to the pool. That is awesome I think to myself. Thats where the music is coming from I realise.

With this the music dims and everyone looks towards the stage.

Both guys are looking amazing shirtless and extremely muscular.

"Will Rose please join us on the stage" Levi says with a grin. The crowd cheers as she giggles and walks up to the stage.

"So" Levi starts. "We are all here to celebrate my best friend Mason and his twin sister Rose's 18th birthday" he yells. The crowd screams and cheers.

"Happy birthday guys, I hope you have an awesome day!" he yells again raising his drink to them. The crowd cheers again and raises there drinks and down them quickly.

"So, as with tradition, I'm going to present the two of you with your Hawaiian lei's. For those who aren't familiar with this tradition I will fill you in" I look up at the stage and a small smile creeps onto my face. Levi sure knew how to talk to a crowd, and he was naturally charismatic to watch. His eyes reach mine and his lips twitch trying not to return my smile.

"So legend says our ancestors were given 10 flowers on their 18th birthday - but in our case we have changed the flowers to flower lei's" he says as he cracks up laughing. "anyways, legend says that our ancestors were given these flowers, and throughout the night a member of the opposite sex would approach the birthday boy - or in our case boy and girl - and ask for a flower. If the birthday boy liked the look of the girl then they would give them a flower in return for a kiss. -this was supposed to help them find their soul mates " he says grinning. "But in this sly dogs case" he says slapping Mason on the back. "It just gives him a chance to hook up 10 beautiful girls tonight" he says laughing.

I had heard of this tradition between wolves before but I had never been to a party where they actually celebrate it.

Levi smiles to the crowd and waggles his eyebrows. "sooo, I'm gonna get the ball rolling, this will probably be the only time your brother will let me do this butttt" he says with a smile. He looks at me with a weird look and turns to Rose.

"Rossseee, you are looking extremely beautiful today, can I please have one of your flower lei's"

The crowd cheer as Rose turns a bright red. Something in my stomach twists and I feel sick. Ive seen

Levi hook up with someone else before, but something about the fact that he is about to kiss my friend makes me feel sick.

Rose nods and hands him one. Everyone erupts with cheers and laughter as Levi accepts the lei and grabs her by the waist and dips her planting his kiss on her. I see him slip her his tongue and she accepts it willingly.

I look at the ground trying hard not to let the tears fall. I take a deep breath in and down my full drink.

After this kiss finishes everyone cheers as Mason yells, "let's get it started"! and the music starts back up and the party turns up a notch. I turn around and walk to the drink table grabbing another drink and sculling it. Picking up another one I turn to start looking for Van. I see him in the pool playing with one of the girls he was talking to earlier.

I walk towards the garden trying to avoid Levi and Rose.

I see Liam and approach him with a smile. "Hey thanks for the compliment during that thing with Natalia" I say.

"That's why you keep me around, remember" he says with a grin.

I laugh and nod towards a whole lot of sun bathing chairs that had been placed around the garden. "I'm not in the mood for socialising right now, you wanna join me on those chairs and play some drinking games with me, until we are rotten drunk that we wanna dance on tables" I say with a cheeky smile.

"All you had to say is drinking games and you had me hooked" he says with a smile. "You go over and grab a few chairs and ill get the drinks" he says.

I smile and make me way over to them. Thinking about Levi kissing Rose and Van with that girl is harder then I thought it would be. I decide not to let it get to me and enjoy having a few drinks. Liam returns with a jug full of punch and two glasses with crazy straws.

I look up at Liam and take a good look at him, he was hotter then I realised, he actually had a tribal tattoo on his shoulder that made him look yummier than normal.

"You should totally walk around with no shirt more often" I laugh. "That tattoo makes you look dangerous"

"I only bite when asked" he laughs.

We relax into the chairs and drink our drinks laughing and teasing each other. Before I realise we've been there for a couple of hours drinking up a storm as the sun has set and night is setting in. The party lights are lighting the garden and the pool and the music is still blaring.

"I love this song" I yell standing up.

"the drinks must be working cause you look like your ready to dance on the tables" Liam laughs standing up with me.

"maybe not the tables, unless your gonna throw some money at me" I wink.

His eyes widen, as I punch him in the shoulder. "joking, I'm joking"

We make our way over to the stage as I see Rose dancing with some guy minus a couple of lei's.

"TTTTIIIAAAAAA where have you been" she smiles happily.

"This is the best party evvvvverrrrr" she yells.

"I was drinking with Liam and now we have come to get it down on the dance floor" I laugh as she drunkenly dances. I look over her shoulder to see Van dancing with the girl from the pool, who was currently grinding up against him. He hasn't seen me yet so I pull Liam to the middle of the crowded dance floor and let the music flow through me.

No one here knew but I have danced forever, I was on my old schools dance squad and have danced in competitions for the last couple of years. I stopped once Vale came in the picture, he didn't like how the revealing the outfits where.

I turned around and swayed my hips to the rhythm of the song. Popping and shaking and dancing like I was in a club Liam placed his hands on my hips and whispered in my ear.... "Damm girl, where did you learn those moves from", he growled sexily. I just laughed and kept shaking my booty.

Dancing with Liam helped me forget Levi and Van. After a few songs later I was hot and sweaty and thirsty. We went and got some drinks and sat on the edge of the pool.

We watched the pool wrestling that was going on, watching the girls fall laughing and splashing about.

"Tia"

"Yes" I say looking at Liam who was smiling at me.

"We have our first football game next weekend, and I was wondering....... do you wanna wear my number on Saturday night, at the game that is"

"Won't your girlfriend wanna wear it?" I ask him.

"I don't have a girlfriend at the moment, and I've never asked any of the other girls I've dated to wear it before". He says quietly.

I look up to see if he was serious. For some strange reason I had a 6th sense if people were lying or telling the truth, and looking at him I had a feeling he was telling me the truth.

I smiled up at him, "hmmm I dunnnno, what would I get in return?' I ask.

"how about the satisfaction of knowing your wearing the number of the best player on the field" he says inching closer to my face.

"I'm sure your a player... but are you any good at football" I quickly reply cheekily.

"damm you have one fast wit girl" he laughs.

"I'm not just a pretty face player" I laugh splashing him.

"how about I take you out for ice cream after the game?"

"thats more like it, everything can be fixed with ice-cream in my books..... deal , I'll wear your number" I giggle.

"Good, anyways I gotta go bathroom, I'm about to burst"

"sweet as I'm gonna get more drinks!"

Watching him walk off to the bathroom I shake my head laughing.

Rose approaches me drunk off her face.... giggling.

"Rose...where are all your lei's?" I ask looking at her neck, showing only one left.

"I've given them all out" she laughs. "I've got one left.....wahhhhh"

"Ok" I say grinning, "lets spin you around pointing and the guy you land on your gonna give it to him"

Spinning her around she trips slightly laughing but straightens herself up and stops with her hand pointed out. I look up to see who she's pointing too and nearly kick myself when I realise its Van. He currently is doing shots with the cheerleaders.

Rose grins at me and stumbles over to Van with a smile. I stay rooted to the spot I'm currently in.

"Evander, just the man for the job, I have one flower lei left and you are lucky enough to be receiving it." I hear her say.

He looks up and grins at her. "Can't turn down the birthday girl now can I"

She places it over his head and he kisses her, and to make things worse the kiss is hot. Like scorching hot.

I gasp quietly looking at them. Rose is still smiling with her eyes close but Van's head darts up and his eyes meet mine. I can tell he's drunk because they are all glassy.

The cheerleaders all wahoooooo the kissing pair.

I turn around and scull my drink. Deciding I need to check on my makeup I walk back towards my room in the pool house.

I hear giggling coming from Levi's room, and I feel like I've been stabbed in the chest with a broken beer bottle. My two supposed mates are man whores and I'm a jealous cow.... great this is just great...

Sitting on the floor of my bathroom thinking about the situation, I hear Van calling my name in the lounge. I can't handle this right now I think to myself.

"Tia...Tia I know you can hear me..."

I hold my breath hoping he will go away.

"I can hear your heartbeat Tia bear"

Bloody wolves and damm heart I moan internally....who needs a heart anyways they only end up broken.

He walks into the bathroom and finds me on the floor with my head leaning against the cool tiles.

"What are you doing?" he whispers.

"Just getting some air, I think I've drunken too much" I reply casually.

"Oh, I can get you some water if you like?"

"nah nah its ok" I say as I stand up.

He leans forward and pushes some hair behind my ear, "I never got that dance you promised"

"I'm surprised you noticed I wasn't around, maybe next time" I say with my poker face. He leans in looking like he wants to kiss me.

I pull back and frown.

"I'm still me Tia bear, I'm still Van your best friend"

He leans forward and kisses the spot on my chest where my heart is.

"I just wanted to give you a heart kiss, I haven't given one to you since we were like 8, but we say it all the time... I just wanted to give you one".

Thinking back to when we were kids we used to give each other heart kisses all the time, it started when my puppy died, I thought boys kisses where gross, so instead of kissing me on the cheek he would kiss my heart, a give me a goofy face to cheer me up... He was a really good friend.

Thinking about it, he has always been a good friend to me.

"I just wanted to say goodnight to you, my ride just turned up" Looking at the time I realise it's pretty late... the party sounds like it was still in full swing.

"Ok, I think I might head out there and find rose...." Looking at him instantly, then looking down.

"to make sure she's taken care of" I nod.

"Ok, ill txt you later yea?"

"Sounds good" I place a fake smile trying to make it look genuine.

He frowns but kisses me on the cheek and walks out.

I check my makeup making sure I don't have panda eyes and walk out into the lounge. I can still hear moaning and groaning coming out of the room.

"Who the f*ck is in my room" I hear Levi grumble holding a drunk friend around the shoulders lowering him onto our couch.

I look up in shock to see Levi looking at me.

"I thought It was you" I said looking surprised to see him.

"Oh" he replied with a sad face. He walks up to his room and bangs on the door. Using his alpha tone he starts screaming to the occupants in the room.

"You have 2 seconds to get the f*ck out of my room before I break down this door"

The door opens to reveal Liam standing in his boxers. Behind him I can see who was making all the moaning noise.... skanky barbie from my first day.

She just giggles and walks out shaking her ass.

I look up at Liam in shock.

Out of all the girls for him to hook up with it was her. I put my poker face on and stare at him.

"Tia, I'm sorry, I came to look for you but I couldn't find you, I thought you had taking off, you weren't supposed to see that".

"Sorry, I don't think I can go for ice-cream Saturday after all, I remember I have to wash my hair" I say keeping my poker face on. "And as for wearing your number....i'm sure you can find someone else to wear it, you are the number one player after all" I say.

"What? I told you I've never asked any other girl to wear it before and your telling me you don't wanna wear it anymore, all because of this". He says looking at me hurt.

"hmmm pretty much" I reply.

The doors to the lounge open up and Mason walks in with a huge grin.

"TIAAAA there you are, ive been looking for you for ages! I have one special lei left and I want you to have it" he says with a big smile.

He places it over my neck and picks me up into his arms. I can't help but wrap my arms and legs around him to steady myself.

He leans in quickly and kisses me with everything he has. He forces me to kiss him back and I'm surprised how good it feels. After a few seconds I pull out of the kiss and he places me down gently.

"Totally juicer then ever" he laughs.

I can't help but laugh and I look at Liam and Levi who are standing there staring at us. Liam looks pissed off and Levi looks furious.

I look at the two of them and turn to Mason. "Hey Mason, I just realised I didn't get you a birthday present, how about for your present I wear your number on Saturday at your first game, and then take you out for ice cream or something?"

"That would be the best present ever" He says grinning.

"Great I say, it's a date".
