Standing in Van's veranda I took a deep breath, I didn't want him to know I was scared. Perhaps being firm with Vale would make him calm down.

"First of all, what the hell do I call you? Is it Nate or Vale, because in all honesty I'm confused as hell?" I growled down the phone. Van hearing me growling stood in front of me demanding for me to hand him the phone. Shaking my head and turning away I waited for the reply.

"aww baby don't be angry, Vale is my nickname from when I travelled in Europe, you can call me whatever you want. I prefer your old nickname for me, 'babe'. "

"Fine, Nate it is, secondly, don't you dare threaten my mother, what type of person are you for gods sake. You claim to care for me and then you turn around and say something like that, seriously that's just effin insane" I growled.

"I'm pissed off baby, what do you expect. Come home to me now and we will talk about this rationally, I promise I won't get to close, unless you want me to that is" Nate purred.

"Unless it's skipped your thoughts we're brother and sister now, so you can't talk like that anymore its gross" I said hoping that would deter him.

"No baby, you and Levi are brother and sister, I'm adopted its not gonna break any rules". He said quickly. "Now come home, I wanna talk to you about a few things, him being one of them, why they hell is he calling you his girlfriend, hurry up and get home now so we can sort out this rubbish. I have some business to deal with while I'm here and I don't want it to interfere with our reunion" he said impatiently.

"I'm spending some time with a family friend for a few days" I said quickly.

"Who's this friend?? It better not be a boyfriend" he growled.

"Whatever Nate, we're not a couple anymore remember, I told you that the night you tried to RAPE me, you have to stop with this crap" I replied.

" I told you sorry about that, I was drunk and you just smelt and looked so good, I really am sorry about that baby you know that. You're the only girl I have ever loved, I don't want to lose you.....you loved me too once" Nate replied.

It's true, in the beginning he was the sweetest boyfriend I could ask for, he's was so handsome, clean cut, smart, generous, and funny. He would go out of his way to do everything for me. But the minute we exchanged the L words to each other he had become obsessive controlling and over the top. I shook my head, I had made the right decision, and I'm now that I've found my mate I'm not going to let him ruin my chance of happiness.

"Nate, I'll talk to you later alright, I'm gonna get going Evander is waiting for me" I said quickly.

"When are you coming home?" he said finally given up on me coming home right away.

"I'll be home on Friday, in the mean time you really really need to get it through your head that we are over, we're a family now I don't want to be afraid to come back to my own home" I said hoping he would finally get the hint.

"Whatever you say baby, I still love you and we will have that talk when you get home on Friday" Nate said. "I might even pop into your school and say hi, I'm sure there's a few people that will be happy to see me".

"I'm on an exchange, thats why I'm visiting my friends house, ill be going to Northlakes High for the rest of the week. It's probably best you just wait ok." I say quickly.

"What the hell, why are you there?" he demanded.

I was starting to get really really pissed off with his attitude. "Agh Nate, stop being a control freak, this is one of the reasons why we BROKE up remember? I'm staying at Evanders for the week, his dad is the Alpha of the Northlake pack so dont bother coming over here, just wait until I come home."

"Oh I remember you mentioning him, I'm glad your still close friends with your childhood friend, is he still that tall geeky looking guy I saw in that photo of you two growing up?, just make sure he doesn't get to close to you alright, I'll see you soon baby." Nate said as he hung up.

Shaking my head I hung up the phone. "Woah my sexy little mate is feisty" Van said grinning at me wrapping his arms around my waist. "I'm glad you told him those things Tia bear, hopefully him hearing it over and over again it will sink in" Van said with his sexy grin.

I can only hope I thought to myself as I nodded at him with a small smile.

"Come on inside, my dad is at a pack meeting but mom is inside and she's dying to see you again" he said with a grin.

Walking into his house was like walking back in time, directly opposite the front door was a set of huge oak stairs that lead upstairs on right hand side was a lounge room, on the left hand side a large dining room, that lead into the kitchen. Walking into the kitchen I saw Sarah. Sarah was mom's best friend in school. She was tall, lean and still beautiful as ever.

"Oh my gosh Tia darling is that you?" she said walking into the dining room with a tea towel hanging off her shoulder.

"Hey Sarah, yup its me" I said with a smile as she embraced me into a hug.

"Wow you are as beautiful as your mother was at your age. No wonder my son wants to claim you" she said with a wink as she put me at arm's length to take a good look at me. "Now don't you worry about a thing, Van told me how anxious you are about the whole 2 mates thing, and you don't need to worry about anything. We of all people know how delicate the mate situation can be so no judgement from us I promise" she said kissing me on the head and heading back to the kitchen.

Thats what I loved about Sarah, she was always so comforting and understanding. She really was a perfect Luna to the Northlakes Pack. I smile inwardly thinking about Luna. This could all be mine. I think to myself. This beautiful man standing at my side staring at me adoringly, this loyal pack, this lovely home and this family. Wow it really was something that I could see myself loving. I had such deep feelings for Van, but I also had such deep feelings for Levi. I seriously couldn't choose even if they asked me to. I guess I will have to let nature take its place I think to myself.

"Thanks Sarah, I really appreciate it" I said calling out to her. "Come on Tia bear, let's put your things away." I looked to see that Van had my bag. Nodding I followed him. Following him up the stairs he moved to his room. Thinking about all the times we shared a bed growing up I hesitated.

"Umm, I think I should sleep in the guest room" I said looking at him. Seeing him frown and a flash of disappointment cross his face. "Please Tia bear, I promise not to do anything that you dont want me to do" he said to me in a cheeky smile. My resolve melted when I saw that face. "Ok, but I get to choose the side" I said with a smile. He grinned and bolted into his room, dumping my stuff in his walk in wardrobe. He came back out and lifted me up into the air wrapping my thighs around his toned hips. I squealed in surprise.

"What are you doing?" I giggled enjoying the closeness of our bodies. Pulling myself upwards wrapping my arms around his neck and rocking my hips against him he growled a deep sexy wolf growl. His eyes glowed a dark green and he pulled me into his room shutting the door. "I want to welcome my mate into our room properly" he said kissing me. My heart jumped at the electricity between us when he kissed me. My skin shivered and tingled. I felt his tongue brush against mine requesting entrance. I giggled and shook my head. He kissed me again, licking my bottom lip sucking it gently.

"You're going to open those delicious lips of yours now or else I'm going to make you" he grinned as he layed me on the bed. I laughed and sprawled back onto his soft bed. "And how do you intend on making me do that" I said smiling looking into his deep green eyes. Damm he was sexy I thought to myself as he laid himself gently on top of my nudging my thighs apart with his knee as he hovered above me on his forearms. "This" he hot breath whispered into my ear. His right hand snaked down my body past my hips as he rubbed the zip on my jeans. Just the pressure of his hand near my core made my heart rate increase as my eyes glazed over. Looking up I ran my hands through his dark brown hair, as he rubbed again gently. My heart beat raced at the mere touch.

Van took a deep breath and he pulled his hand up and gripped mine bringing them above my head. Instead of rubbing with his hands I could feel he had positioned himself in between my thighs so that his now hard muscle was straining against his pants rubbing against my core. "What is that smell your giving off" he purred kissing my neck while holding my hands. I felt dizzy with the combination. "Dammm Tia bear, your in heat. I wanna to mark you now" he said in a rough voice.

I moaned at the mention of him taking me, I wanted that, I wanted that so bad right now. Kissing him hard I growled and started pulling off his shirt. Pulling it over his back I marvelled at his tone body. His muscles were hard and defined. His abs rippled as he pulled. His skin tone was a dark copper. He really was devine, and he's all mine I thought to myself. I propped myself up and my elbows as I kissed his chest. He groaned and wrapped his arms around my waist. I gently bit his chest as I looked up his eyes were the brightest green I'd ever seen. The realisation of his wolf emerging made me freeze. We were going to far, I was going to far, I was letting my hormones get to me. All I could think of was Levi's face when he told me he trusted me with his heart. I couldn't let Van mark me. I told myself. I felt him kiss me gently. "I cant let you mark me" I whispered.

"That's ok" he purred. "It doesn't mean we can't do other things" he said kissing me gently.

"You know I'm still a virgin, I want to wait to give it to my mate" I said struggling to stay strong as he licked my lips.

"Dont worry Tia bear, I will wait for you to give me your virginity and I love you more knowing that you WILL give it to me on the night of your 18th birthday" he said looking at me deeply in the eyes.

"But in the mean time how about I give you a little preview of how its gonna be" he said pulling me onto my side facing him. With our legs intertwined he wrapped one arm under my neck and pulled me close. With his other hand he gently stroked down my hips back to where my zipper was. Kissing me he whispered huskily. "Is this ok Tia bear" all I could do was nod as the adrenaline was rushing through my body.

"What about this" he said as he traced his finger along my panty line. I nodded again. He sniffed again and kissed me deeply. "I love you Tia, I have always loved you, I'm so so happy your my mate. Let me show you how much I love you" he whispered kissing my gently while looking into my eyes. His finger dipped under my panties and my breathing increased and shallowed. Rocking my hips against him I felt my skin grow hot and flushed. He smiled at me encouraging me along. "You feel so good Tia, god I love you" he growled. After a while my hips rocked harder and faster against his fingers that I felt like I was about to explode. Breathing quietly and moaning softly I kissed him with everything I had wrapping my self into his body.

"That was amazing" I whispered looking up into his eyes. "You are amazing" he said holding me close.

Closing my eyes I relaxed into his strong body. Fighting the side inside me that was telling me that was wrong because of Levi, I pushed it to the side and enjoyed the closeness of my best friend, my mate, my Van.

Waking up an hour or so later I found myself wrapped around Van like a snake. "oops sorry" i said grinning at him. "Its more than ok honey, I love having you in my arms" he said smiling down at me. "Your phone went off a few moments ago, I think that's what woke you"

I rolled over with a yawn and opened my phone. "It's Levi" I said casually. Reading the txt I felt sick to my stomach.

"Tia, I heard your phone ring so I stuck around in wolf form in the shadows to make sure Nate didn't upset you. I heard you go into Van's place and I heard what you two did, I'm sorry for ears dropping, but I just wanted to make sure you were safe. I can't handle you being with him, let alone letting him do those things to you. I think it's best if you and I take a break until we both know what we really want" I closed my eyes as the tears fell. I had been dumped and by the sounds of it rejected by my mate because I let myself lose control... Eff my life!.

Eeek sorry to all the Levi fans! Dont hate me! But remember Van has been in her life forever so it would have been a bit skanky if she did something like that with someone she has technically known for just over a week.!

I love Levi so i promise he is still gonna be sticking around. Maybe he'll be getting some action down the line too??
