As you guys lay there watching the sun rise, you have a sense of someone staring. You turn your head and catch Bucky staring at you.

"What are you staring at, James?" you ask giggling.

"Im staring at my future wife." He says hesitantly.

        You gasp and stare at him, speechless. He begins to stand up and pull something out of his jacket pocket. You sit there motionless, feeling as though your heart is going to beat out of your chest. He gets down on one knee and opens a box. You gasp loudly as tears begin to form in your eyes. The most beautiful ring you've ever seen, sitting there staring at you.

"Y/n Rogers. Since the day I met you, I haven't been able to get you out of my head. After our first date, I had the urge to go out and buy this ring. I just knew you were the one. I asked Steve and Nat for permission so they know. Y/n. I love you with all my heart. I will continue to love you with all my heart till the day I die. I wish to have a family with you. I wish we could live our lives together. I wish to buy a house with you."

You begin to have tears stream down your face as you listen to him speak.

"Y/n Rogers." His eyes begin to fill with tears as he finishes.

"Will you do me the honor and marry me?"

You laugh and don't hesitate.
"Of course, James. I will marry you."

You get up and jump on him, hugging him tight. "I love you James Buchanan Barnes."

He puts the ring on your finger and kisses you. "I love you more Y/n Rogers."

You sit back and admire the beautiful ring now on your finger.

"Did you really go out and buy his ring after our date?"

"Like I said. I knew you were the one for me."

"James Barnes. You really are the boy of my dreams."

      He smiles and pulls you into his arms with a smile as big as the moon. You lay there as the sun finishes rising. You slowly fall asleep in his arms. Bucky gently wraps a blanket around you and puts you in the car. As he puts you in the car, you smile and kiss his cheek.

"We can sleep in a real bed real soon."

       He gets in the driver's seat and begins driving home. He gently lays his hand on your thigh and he drives and you sleep. You shiver as his hand is cold, and pull the blanket closer. He turns the radio on and his favorite song comes on. "It takes a moment -Michael Crawford." This song reminds him of you. He starts humming part of the song. You, half asleep, start giggling. He quickly turns to you and asks, "I thought you were asleep?" " I can't sleep now. I just got engaged to the most perfect human being." He gently smiles, then it slowly fades away. "I'm not perfect", he says. "You are to me James." You say as you lean on him and kiss his arm. "You will always be perfect to me." He smiles and continues driving as you rest on him.

"I love you Ms.Rogers."

I love you more, Barnes."
