Clary's POV

I can feel my heartbeat getting faster and faster. "Clary...." Jace says I took one look at him and started to cry.

"Let's go Jace" Izzy says. She pulls Jace out of my room and I can hear him say.

"I need to talk to her. It's been a month. I deserve to talk to her" he whispers.

"I know you do but not today. You can talk to her when she's ready..and she isn't right now. Just give her some space right now..okay" she tells him.

"Ok-kay" he says.

I cry myself to sleep that night.
