"You're what??" My mom says loudly.

"I'm pregnant..."I say quietly feeling a little nervous with my moms initial reaction.

"I can't believe it! I leave you for a couple of months and I come back to you being engaged and pregnant!! It's unacceptable! You are only 19 years old! You are to young to be both engaged and pregnant!" My mother says.

"May I ask you how old you were when you got engaged and pregnant?" I say.

"..." Was my mothers response.

"Exactly. The only reason why you are saying this is because you don't like Jace" I say.

"That is correct. I don't like Jace because he is the one who got you pregnant in the first place." She says.

"No that is not the reason. You think he is like Valentine mother but he is not. He is nothing like him at all. He may have been raised by him for 10 years but he has also been raised by Mayrse for 10 years and she did an amazing job. Jace is sweet, kind, and treats me right. We may have gotten into a fight before but we both learned from our mistakes and it made our love stronger. I love him and nothing and no one can changed the way I feel about him and if you don't support me on this, then you don't have to be a part of my life" I say with tears coming out of my eyes by the end of it. I can't believe my mom would say that kind of stuff to me. I had enough of this so I got up and ran to my room without looking back.
