Clary's POV

Alec and Izzy return before Maryse arrives. We are all in the living room when Maryse walks in. "Maryse..." Jace says. "We need to tell you something"

"What is it" she says.

"Clary and I...are engaged!" He says.

"Congrats guys! I am so happy for you!" She says giving us hugs. "Does your parents know Clary?"

"No not yet. They return from the honeymoon in a month. I don't want to tell them over the phone so I have to wait till they come back" I say.

"Oh Clary, I forgot to tell you that Simon is free tomorrow. Meet him at Takis at noon" Izzy says.

"Thanks Izzy" I say.

The next day...

I head out to meet Simon at Takis. "Hey Lewis!" I say giving him a hug.

"Hey Fray!" He says. "It has been a long time hasn't it?"

"It has" I say.

"How are you?" He asks.

"Well...that is what I wanted to talk to you about?" I say.

"Is everything okay??" He asks.

"Ya... I just have some excited news" I say.

"What is it" he asks.

"Two things actually...first....I'm engaged!! Jace proposed to me two nights ago!" I say.

"Congrats!! I'm so happy for you" he says. What's the second news?"

"Uh...I'm pregnant" I say.

"What?? Congrats!" He says.

"You don't seem excited." I say.

"Sorry. I am so excited for you. You will be an amazing mother" he says.

"Thanks" I say.
