Jace's POV

Clary wraps her arms around me. I wrap my arms around her and place my head on top of hers. It feels good to give Clary a hug again. What feels like a perfect moment by Alec coughing. Clary and I totally forgot that they were still standing there.

"Well, well" Izzy says. "Look at how cute you guys are!"

I can see Clary blush when Izzy said that. "Why thank you Izzy, it must be how stunningly attractive I am" I say

Clary laughs.

"What's so funny?" I ask Clary.

"Oh how I missed your witty comments" she says.

"Okay..Izzy and I are going to go to bed. See you guys tomorrow." Alec says.

"Goodnight guys" I say.

"Jace, I am actually getting tired too, I am going to head off to bed too." Clary says.

"Okay..I will walk you to your room." I kiss her softly and interlock our fingers.

Clary's POV

As we approach my room, I ask "Jace...will you stay with me tonight?"

"Of course Clary" he says. "Just let me go get my pjs on"

I close the door and get my pjs-shorts and a t-shirt that reads "Never Trust a Duck" Jace got me a couple of months ago.

"I love your shirt" Jace says when he walks in wearing only pants.

"Thanks. Someone special gave it to me" I say with a small smile.

"That person is truly wise; ducks SHOULD NEVER be trusted. They are evil!" He says

I laugh at his comment and put my arms around him. "What have I gotten myself into"

"You've gotten yourself into a relationship with someone who is terrified of ducks. Our kid will NEVER get anywhere near a duck; I will make sure of that" he says.

I can't help but laugh as we get into bed. I lay down and he lays down beside me and wraps his arms around me and pulls me in. We fit together like a puzzle-a perfect match. "I love you" I say.

"I love you too Clary" I hear before I fall asleep.
