Clary's POV

We walk back the the institute hand-in-hand laughing. It felt good to have Jace back in my life. As we opened the door we hear both Alec and Izzy running to the door to meet them.

As they approached us the asked "why are you guys soaking wet?" Izzy asks.

"Cause it's pouring rain outside." I say.

"How was it??? Did you tell him?" Alec asks.

"Wait....Alec and Izzy knew before I did?" He asks.

"I told Izzy before I left and I asked her not to tell anyone but then 2 weeks ago Alec forced it out of her. I'm sorry you found out last...well not last...I still have to tell my mom and Luke. They are coming back in a few weeks. My mom is going to kill me for getting pregnant before getting married."

"I was planning on doing this at dinner but now is better then never" he says. Before I could get a sentence out I see him get down on one knee.

Jace's POV

I get down on one knee and pull out a ring and say "Clary Adele Fray, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I know I messed up but I never stopped loving you. I was heartbroken when you left even though it was my fault, I still cried every single night. I didn't think I could love you more but you proved me wrong-which you do a lot-when you said that you were pregnant. I loved you even more when you told me. Clary, I love you so much, will you marry me?"

Clary's POV

"Will you marry me?" Jace asks me.

"Y-yes!" I say I had tears streaming down my eyes when Jace started to say all of those things. I was overjoyed when he asked me to marry him. I loved him so much. He gets up and kisses me.

"I love you" I say.

"I love you too" he says.

I wrap my arms around him and give him a hug. He wraps his arms around me and tightens them. His arms give me a sense of comfort. I missed this.
