1 month later

Clary's POV

I am now 2 months pregnant and I still haven't told Jace. I am in the library with Alec and Izzy.

"Clary..you have to tell Jace soon. He deserves to know that you are carrying his child. You at least owe him to explain what happened." Alec says.

"I'm scared. I loved-still love him. I can't even look at him in the eyes without bawling."

"I am not supposed to say this but Jace is planning a dinner for you tonight. Say yes and tell him then" Alec says. Before I could respond, Jace walks in.

"Speak of the devil" Izzy whispers.

He walks up to me and asks, "Clary...would you go on a date with me tonight?"

I bring myself to look into his eyes as I say "ye-yes" without crying.

Izzy takes me back to my room to help me get ready. Izzy laid a few options on my bed.

"I can't wear any of those. It will show my bump too much. I know I hardly have one but something may show if I wear something that tight." I say as I pull out a nice loose white dress. "I am wearing this but you can do my make up and hair."
