Dr. Wilson picked up Blaine and carried him to the room next door. The nurse ran and grabbed the crash cart. Then she grabbed an intubation kit. On the way back to the room, she saw another nurse and hollered to her,

"Laura I need you to page Clark Anderson immediately . It's Blaine." She ran into the room to find Dr. Wilson giving Blaine CPR. Dr. Wilson took the intubation kit and intubated Blaine while the nurse got the AED machine ready. Once it was ready the nurse took over the oxygen pump. Dr. Wilson unbuttoned Blaine's shirt and placed the heart monitor stickers and the pads of the AED machine on Blaine's chest. . She turned it on and hollered 'Clear'. They both held their breath. There was a heart beat. They breathed a sigh of relief. Dr. Wilson then said,

"I want you to draw some blood to see if we can get to the bottom of this." Clark had just arrived in his office and was checking over his schedule for the day when he heard the page.

"Doctor Anderson please report to the East 3rd floor nurses station immediately." Clark stood up and ran thinking something was wrong with Kurt. Clark arrived and said,

" What happened is Kurt okay?" Dr. Wilson stepped out and said,

"Clark Kurt is fine but something happened to Blaine. We don't know what yet. I went into Kurt's room this morning and said good morning to Blaine but he didn't respond. I went over to wake him up and when he didn't move I checked and he had no pulse. He is on a heart monitor and he is intubated." Just then the nurse came out and said,

" I am going to get these to the lab and see if we can get a rush on this." She held up the tubes of blood. Clark swallowed and pulled out his phone and called Myriam. She answered on the first ring.

M: Hey honey did you forget something here this morning?

C: Hey no I wanted to let you know that I will not be coming home tonight. Blaine is unconscious and they don't know why. They are running his blood work now.

M: Oh no! That is awful. I will be right there.

C: You don't have to come up I know that you have plans with your sister today, I just wanted to let you know that I wouldn't be home for dinner. I also didn't want you to hear it from someone else. Love you!

M: If you are sure honey, my sister would understand. Love you too.

Clark hung up the phone and wiped away tears. Dr. Wilson said,

"We will do everything we can to figure out what happened Clark, I promise." Clark sighed,

"As much as I don't want to leave I have appointments to keep. Please keep me updated. I will come back and check after I make the rounds I need to make." Dr. Wilson nodded. Clark left and Dr. Wilson went to check on the boys. Kurt's oxygen stats had come up enough that Dr. Wilson removed the tube and placed an oxygen tube on Kurt's nose. He then checked Kurt's pulse and then listened to his lungs. They sounded just as bad as they had yesterday. He then went next door to check on Blaine. Blaine's heart rate was all over the place. Dr. Wilson decided to get an EKG and was puzzled by the results. He decided to wait and see what the tox screen and blood work showed. About an hour later, the nurse paged him. Dr. Wilson arrived and looked at Blaine's blood work and tox screen. They both showed evidence of sedatives. Dr. Wilson was puzzled as to why Blaine would be taking sedatives and where he had gotten them. Just then Hunter and Sebastian showed up. Hunter stopped just outside the elevators and said,

" Please remember that Blaine is very sensitive right now and also remember you are still trying to stay on my good side. So please don't do anything stupid." Sebastian nodded. Dr. Wilson turned when she heard them behind her.

"Hunter good to see you. What are you doing here? Did Clark or Myriam text you guys about Blaine?"

"We came to sit with Blaine and Kurt. Why what happened to Blaine?" Before Dr. Wilson could say anything Hunter let go of Sebastian's hand and ran to Kurt's room. He then saw his step-brother in the room next door. "He was fine last night when I left him."

"He was unresponsive and not breathing this morning. Just then Clark walked up,

"Did you find anything?"

" We found several sedatives in his bloodwork and his tox screen." Clark gave her a funny look and said,

"I'm sorry did you say sedatives? Why on earth would Blaine have sedatives in his system?"

"I was hoping you could shed some light on this for us." Dr. Wilson said.

"Blaine has never done drugs. He doesn't even drink. I have no idea why he would be messing with sedatives. He is studying pre-med for god sake." Dr. Wilson said,

"I would like to get a urine sample to make sure we are not missing anything, with your permission, Clark, I would like to insert a catheter." Clark nodded and swallowed. Dr. Wilson then went over to the nurses station and asked one of the nurses to bring her a catheter kit. Clark turned to the two boys and said,

"Hunter would you please sit with Kurt so he is not alone if he wakes up. Sebastian please go sit over there. I don't need you scaring Kurt." The two boys nodded. Dr. Wilson took the catheter kit from the nurse and went into Blaine's room. Clark followed. Dr. Wilson prepared the catheter. She then gently removed Blaine's pants and boxers. She then inserted the catheter. Clark fought back tears. He had seen plenty of catheters inserted and he had lost count of the number he had put in, but watching as your child has one put in is much harder. Dr. Wilson finished getting the urine sample and removed the catheter. Clark wiped his face and then said, " I have a surgery to go to. Please let me know when you find something." Dr. Wilson nodded, handed the urine sample to the nurse and said,

"Of course." Clark stopped by Sebastian and said,

"You can go sit with Blaine just don't do anything stupid." Sebastian nodded. Dr. Wilson checked Blaine's blood oxygen and it was back at a normal level. He removed the tube from his throat and put him on oxygen. Sebastian sat beside his former best friend and just looked at him. Blaine was in a hospital bed and it was his fault. He pulled out his phone and texted Myriam, 'I can't keep hurting Blaine. He used to be my best friend and I have ruined that relationship. I am happy with Hunter and Blaine is happy with Kurt. I am done.' Myriam did not text him back.

Over in Kurt's room, he began to wake up. Hunter saw this and looked up.

"Easy Kurt!" How are you feeling?" Kurt blinked a few times and said in a raspy voice.

"I am okay. What happened and where is Blaine?"

"You stopped breathing yesterday early evening and the doctor had to put a tube down your throat."

"Okay that explains why my throat hurts but where is Blaine?" Hunter swallowed unsure of how to answer that question.

Back in Blaine's room, he began to wake up as well. Blaine opened his eyes and noticed that he was not in the room with Kurt but in a hospital bed and was on oxygen. He looked over and saw Sebastian sitting in the chair next to the bed. Sebastian looked up and caught Blaine's eye. Blaine then said in a slightly raspy voice,

"Why am I in a bed on oxygen?"

"Blaine, I have to apologize to you. I am sorry for trying to get back together with you and trying to kiss you. I am also sorry for dragging Chandler into steal Kurt. When we went to college and broke up I missed talking to my best friend. I am also sorry for plotting behind your back with your step mother to break up you and Kurt. She is partially to blame for you being in a hospital bed. I am the other part to blame. She gave it to me, but I was the one the put it in your coffee last night. She just wanted you to be happy and I can see that you are happy, please don't hate me although I wouldn't blame you if you did." By this point Sebastian was crying. Blaine sat up and took Sebastian's hands in his and said,

" Sebastian, look at me please." Sebastian looked up into the eyes of his former best friend. Blaine smiled and continued, " I miss talking to you too. I think that when we broke up neither on of us knew what to do so we stopped talking. You could have just told me that you wanted to go back to being friends without all of this drama. How about moving forward we work on keeping in contact seeing as you are dating my step-brother. We can maybe even plan some double dates when Kurt gets out of the hospital. How does that sound Smythe?" Sebastian smiled and said,

"I would like that Anderson." Blaine then said,

"Now, what on earth did you put in my coffee? It is giving me a major migraine."

"I don't know exactly what it was Myriam just said it would knock you out and give me a chance to win you over, but I told her I am done trying." Blaine then said,

"I will deal with her later. Can you please pass me my boxers and pants?" Sebastian grabbed them off the couch and helped Blaine stand up. Blaine got dressed and then sat back on the bed. He pressed the call button and a nurse walked in.

"Ah, Blaine glad to see that you are awake. I will page Dr. Wilson." She turned to leave and Blaine said,

" Laura how about you unhook me from the heart monitor and the oxygen and let me go back to my husband."

"You know I can't do that Blaine, but I give you props for trying." She left the room shaking her head. Just then the results of Blaine's urinalysis came back. She just looked at the screen. She didn't notice Dr. Wilson walk up. Dr. Wilson called her name.

"Laura"

"Sorry Dr. Wilson I was looking at Blaine's urinalysis results." She turned the screen so that Dr. Wilson could see. His jaw dropped when he saw what had caused Blaine's unconsciousness. He went into Blaine's room to find him awake and sitting up. He pulled up a stool and sat down.

"Blaine I am glad to find you awake and alert. How are you feeling?"

"I am fine. I am sore all over and have a migraine from hell, but other than that I am fine. Please take me off the heart monitor and oxygen so I can go see Kurt before he wakes up and has a panic attack!" Dr. Wilson said,

"Before I do that there are a few things you need to know. First being, I did get a urine sample from you using a catheter. You will be sore down there for about 24 hours and you may notice blood when going to the bathroom but this is normal. The second thing is we figured out what caused this, Rohypnol." Blaine turned to Sebastian and said,

"She gave you the date rape drug to knock me out! Is she that upset that I married Kurt? She is going to hear it from me just wait until dad finds out."

Kurt began to panic.

"He got tired of me and left me." He began to hyperventilate. This caused the oxygen alarm to sound. Dr. Wilson ran out of the room. Blaine leaned back and turned off the oxygen machine and the heart monitor. He removed the oxygen tube and the heart monitor pads from his chest. Sebastian helped him off the bed. Blaine buttoned his shirt as he ran into Kurt's room. Dr. Wilson had already switched Kurt back to a full face oxygen mask. Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and said,

"Kurt baby I am right here. Slow deep breaths." Kurt was still breathing rapidly. Blaine began to sing, "You make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream, the way you turn me on I can't sleep." Upon hearing Blaine singing, Kurt began to look around at all the faces in the room until he landed on Blaine's. Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt's hand. He then took his other hand and began to rub Kurt's head. "Hi honey! I am right here. Slow deep breaths that's it." The oxygen alarm stopped beeping and Kurt began to calm down. Once Kurt had calmed down, Blaine said, "Hey honey! I am sorry I was not in here when you woke up. I am here now and that is all that matters." Dr. Wilson removed the full face oxygen mask and placed the tube back under Kurt's nose. Kurt smiled at Blaine and said,

" I got scared and thought that you left me." Blaine smiled back and said,

"No honey I would never leave you I promise." Dr. Wilson cleared his throat,

"I want to get a chest X-ray. The twins will be okay." Blaine nodded and kissed Kurt.

"I will be right here when you come back."

"Promise?" Kurt asked slightly scared. Blaine smiled,

"Promise!" The nurse came into the room with a wheelchair. They got Kurt unhooked and off to get the x-ray. Blaine sat down on the bed and sighed. Hunter came around from the other side of the bed and said,

" Blaine are you okay? What the hell happened?" Blaine glanced over his shoulder at Sebastian who was sitting on the couch. He nodded. Blaine then said,

"Myriam was never happy that I married Kurt, even though you guys are dating, she never got over mine and Sebastian's breakup. She used him to try and get Kurt and I to break up so we could get back together. She went so far as to convince Sebastian to drug me so we could talk in hopes of us getting back together. Hunter's jaw dropped and he said,

"She did what?

Clark finally had a break and so he went to check on Blaine and Kurt. He got to Blaine's room and found it empty. He panicked for a second then he heard Hunter say 'She did what?' He ran into Kurt's room to find Hunter facing Blaine sitting on the bed and Sebastian on the couch. Clark let out a sigh of relief at seeing his son alive and awake. He stepped into the room and said,

"Blaine thank god that you are okay!" Hunter stepped over so that Blaine could get off the bed. Blaine stood up and ran to his dad and hugged him. The two hugged for a moment. Then the two walked over to the couch. Hunter came back around the bed and sat next to Sebastian. Clark sat next to Hunter while Blaine sat in the chair. Clark then said, "Who did what?" Hunter then said,

"Mom had Sebastian drug Blaine so they could get back together. She doesn't know we are dating." Sebastian then said,

" Actually she does. Sorry Hunter. When I saw Blaine laying in the bed unconscious, I realized that I had f***ed up. I texted her and told her that I was not going to get back together with Blaine and that I was happy with you just like Blaine was happy with Kurt. I never meant to hurt Blaine or you Hunter. Please forgive me." By this point Sebastian was crying. Blaine and Hunter made eye contact and then they both hugged Sebastian. Then Hunter said,

"While I am upset that you tried to get back together with my brother while we are dating, I am not mad at you, I am proud of you for doing the right thing and telling me the truth." Sebastian smiled and Hunter embraced him. Just then the nurse came back in with Kurt. Blaine helped her get Kurt back into the bed and she got him hooked back up. Blaine turned the chair back around. He took Kurt's hand in his and kissed it. He then said,

"Sebastian and I have talked things out and we miss talking to each other. Hunter and Dad will remember that Sebastian and I were inseparable during grade school. The three of us hung out all the time. We did everything together. When we broke up after high school, neither one of us knew how to go back to being best friends and so we just stopped talking. With that being said, Hunter and Kurt, Sebastian and I are going to go back to talking again on a regular basis. We are not going to get back together, as I am perfectly happy with Kurt and Sebastian is perfectly happy with Hunter. We will be texting and working on fixing our friendship. Once Kurt gets out of the hospital, we are going to plan some double dates." Kurt and Hunter nodded. Dr. Wilson knocked on the door.

"I don't mean to interrupt, but I wanted to talk about Kurt's chest x-ray. Hunter stood up and said,

"We will leave so you can discuss this as a family." Clark looked at him and said,

"Sit down you guys are family." Dr. Wilson then pulled up a stool and said,

" Looking at the X-ray, Kurt does have pneumonia, but we have him on antibiotics so he will be just fine. I am going to get another one at the end of the week as a follow up. Blaine please take it easy and don't do anything stupid. Your body is still recovering." Kurt looked at Blaine with a confused look. Blaine said,

"Myriam convinced Sebastian to slip me Rohypnol, otherwise known as the date rape drug, so we could talk and get back together. It caused me to slip unconscious last night and I was taken next door this morning and intubated and put on oxygen. I am fine so don't worry about me. I also won't do anything stupid at least not yet." He said with a smile. Everyone laughed. Clark then stood up and said,

" I am glad that Kurt is on meds they should help kick the pneumonia. Dr. Wilson I know that I am not supposed to do anything medical to family but with your permission I would like to take a listen to Kurt's lungs." Dr. Wilson nodded,

"Of course! After all you are the best cardiologist on the east coast." Clark pulled out his stethoscope from his pocket and listened to Kurt's lungs. He had Kurt take a few deep breaths, which caused a coughing fit. Clark removed the stethoscope and asked to talk to Dr. Wilson outside. Once they were out of ear shot Clark said,

" I know that it is not my place to say anything but his lungs sound awful. He should probably have daily breathing treatments while he is here. I am sorry if I am over stepping my boundaries."

"You are not over stepping at all Clark, I appreciate the input. I will get that ordered right away." Just then who should step out of the elevator but Myriam.
