Chapter 2: A New School
Jimin POV:
It took a minute to remember where the dining room was, but I eventually found it. My parents and the Kim's were already there laughing and chatting. It seemed like they were waiting on me.
"Sorry, I got lost." I said smiling sheepishly as I took the seat across from my mom.
Mrs. K. Mom
Mr.K (///////////////) Dad
Me
"That's ok. Our home is pretty big." Mr. Kim chuckled. "Have you settled into your room nicely Jimin?" He asked with a smile.
"Um yeah I guess." If I can learn to ignore the fact of it being a dead girl's room. I wonder why they want me to sleep there. Did they really forget?
"That's great since it would be your designated room for every time you come home from school on vacation. Speaking of school, you'll start tomorrow. As you may already know, I am the president of the school board. I was just telling you parents how the board strives to create a positive and safe learning environment for the students. Our goal is to help our young boys thrive and become young men." Mrs. Kim chimed in.
"That's pretty cool." Honestly I don't really know why she's telling me all of this. Her and her husband kinda come off as a bit arrogant to me. Most of the rest of the conversation was the both of them bragging about all of their accomplishments. After I finished my food, which was delicious by the way, I asked for myself to be excused.
"One more thing before you go Jimin. My wife and I thought it would be a great idea to get you all something." Mr. Kim stated.
"Oh no no no. You opening up your home to us is enough. We don't need-" My dad tried. I could tell that he was starting to get a bit overwhelmed with all of their generosity. He's the type of person who believes when someone helps him, he owes them, and if the Kims keep giving us stuff, it'll take him the rest of his life to pay them back.
"Nonsense. We just wanted to give you all these." One of the butlers sat a box down in front of each one of us. I looked at my box and my face was beaming. It was one of those cool new high tech phones. "It's so you all can stay in touch while Jimin is away."
"We appreciate this. We really do, but we cannot accept this. It's way too expensive." My dad explained and I realized that he was right. As much as I did want it, it didn't feel right to take it.
"We insist. You should be able to stay in touch. This is your first time being away from each other for this long. Please accept our kind gesture." Mrs. Kim spoke with a pleading smile.
"O-ok. Thank you." My dad smiled and so did my mom and I as we thanked them too.
"Oh and Jimin, there is a strict no cell phone policy in class, so do get too excited." I nodded and stood up to leave. They also reminded me to not to stay up to late since we would have to wake up early due to the it long drive there. I went back to my room and hopped back onto the bed. I took this chance to start getting use to my new phone. Before, I never even had a phone and now I can play games, take photos, and watch videos. This is awesome. After a while, I felt really tired, so I put my phone on the night stand and went to sleep.

Author's POV:
Jimin was resting so peacefully that he didn't notice the two figures entering his room.
"It's so remarkable. He looks so much like her. It's like she never left us." The man spoke in a hushed voice as he examined the young boys face.
"I know. He even sleeps the way she did. They are so much alike. He smelled like her too when I hugged him. It took everything in me just to let go. Do you think he liked us?" The woman gave her husband a look of worry.
"I'm sure he did hun. What is there not to like? We are both very successful people and when he's ours, we'll spoil him beyond his wits' end."
"Oh honey I don't want him to leave." She whined.
"Have patience sweetheart. If we're going to do this, it should be done delicately and with care... If we can't have our daughter back, then we'll get the next best thing." The man smirked.

~(The next morning)~
Jimin's POV:
I shot up after hearing a loud noise. I then realized that it was the alarm I set for myself the night before. I got up and got dressed. Since today is move in day, Mrs. Kim said I didn't have to wear my uniform. So I put on an oversized red sweater, some black skinny jeans and my white beanie.
After I finished, I went down stairs and saw that my parents and the Kim's were already having breakfast.
"Come on over Jimin. Your eggs are getting cold." I nodded and sat down at the table. There was light conversation, but that might have been because the food was so good. Within that conversation, my mom and dad told me that they wouldn't be able to take me to the school or help with the move in since they had to run some errands therefore Mrs. Kim was going to take me.
Once we were done, it was time to go. I hugged and kissed my mom and dad goodbye before getting in the car with Mrs. Kim. I could see my mom crying in the review mirror as we drove away and it made my miss them already. After a four hour long drive with Mrs. Kim, we finally made it.
This place is huge and it's in the middle of nowhere. As we pulled up to what I assumed was the dorm area, I went to grab my things, but Mrs. Kim stopped me.
"Jimin honey, don't worry about that. The maids trailed us and they are going to take care of that."
"Oh it's ok. There isn't that much-" I tried.
"No no, you're much to delicate for that." I frowned. Delicate? I'm not delicate. "Now let the maids do their jobs or do you want to tell them they came all this way for nothing." She insisted.
"Uh ok." I obliged while grabbing my phone.
"Let's get you settled in shall we?" We walked into the large building that looked more like an apartment building. "You room number is 303 and here's your key. My son's room is on the floor above yours." She spoke as we entered the elevator. "You'll meet him later. He is in class right now." I replied with a nod. "You don't talk much do you Jimin?"
"I-I guess not. My parents say that I'm shy, but I just think it's because I'm in my head a lot." She made a face when I said that, but I couldn't decipher it. "I'm sorry if I'm boring you."
"Oh no honey that isn't the case. I was just asking. Besides if you hadn't noticed, I like hearing myself speak. It calms me." There was a moment of silence before both of our giggles filled the empty space in the elevator. Soon the doors opened revealing the third floor. We walked out and scanned all the doors for the number 303. "Here it is. Hand me the key." I gave it to her and she opened the door. The room was like a mini apartment. It had a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen.
"Do you like it? If not we can redecorate or move th-"
"It's great. No need to go through anymore trouble Mrs. Kim."
"Ok well the maids should be up here any minute now. When they get here, we'll leave it to them and then I will have introduce you to the student body president. He'll give you a tour around the campus. We can get your schedule too. You just turned 15 so you'll be a freshman." I frowned in confusion. I never told her my age or grade.
"How did you know my age?"
"Oh uh, your mom told me. She also let me know where you stood academically in your homeschooling, that way we can put you into the proper classes." As she was talking, the maids arrive with my things. She directed them in and told them to lock up when they were done. "Come on. Let's go get your schedule." I nodded and followed her.
While we were walking, I noticed a lot of people staring and whispering. Are they talking about me or maybe they just know Mrs. Kim. She is the president of the school board so that's gotta be it right? Soon we were walking into an office.
"Suyeon?" The lady behind the desk stood as she addressed Mrs. Kim. She had long brown hair that was tied back into a bun making her chubby cheeks more prominent. "Oh my goodness. What are you doing here? We didn't know you were coming. It so good to see you." She walked around the desk and gave Mrs. Kim a hug.
"It's good to see you too Celine. I'm just here to this one here settled in." She gestured to me.
"And who might this be?" The woman attention turned towards me.
"This is Park Jimin. He's living with my husband and I for the time being, so we thought we'd enroll him here too." She explained.
"Oh I see. It's nice to meet you young man. We're glad to have you. It's been a while since we've had a new student." The woman smiled at me.
"It's nice to meet you too." I replied meekly.
"We're here to get his schedule. He's a freshman."
"No problem. Let me get that for you." She walked back around the desk and looked through a stack of papers. Eventually she pulled out one. "Here it is. Park Jimin, freshman." She handed me the paper.
"Thank you very much. We should get going now." Mrs. Kim and I turned to leave.
"Oh wait!" We turned and looked back.
"Don't worry Celine. I'll come back and chat with you before I go."
"No no it's not that. We're missing a piece of information in his file. We need an emergency contact." We both looked at Mrs. Kim expectingly.
"Oh no. I left it at home. You know what? Just copy down my information for the time being."
"Alrighty. That will do." She smiled and copied down the information. As Mrs. Kim and I were exiting the building, we ran into a tall handsome boy with dark hair. I could tell he was a student by his uniform. I got lost while staring into his big brown orbs. I could barely breath let alone speak. He appears to be very cold and uninviting, but that only made me more curious about him.
(Ignore the flag)
Author's POV:
"Jungkook, just the boy I was looking for." Mrs. Kim addressed him.
"Good morning Mrs. Kim. Did someone request a tour?" He asked with a smile that didn't seem all that genuine since it didn't reach his eyes.
"Yes, this is Park Jimin." She stood back revealing the small boy hiding behind her. Jungkook froze. It was like he had seen a ghost. Jimin's cheeks grew red as the taller frowned deeply while scanning his features. "Jungkook? Jungkook~?"
"I'm sorry what?" The boy was pulled out of his trance by the middle-aged woman.
"I said can you please show him around. He is new here."
"Oh uh. Yes. I'm sorry about that. You just look really familiar. What did you say your name was again?"
"J-Jimin." The younger replied timidly.
"Ok, Jimin. Welcome to Bangtan High. I'm Jeon Jungkook, student body president. We're happy to have you." The boy's cold demeanor returned and it scared Jimin a little.
