(Jennifer's POV)

The next day was Thursday. I had nothing going on, and I felt weird about the whole date thing with Michael. he's the sweetest guy ever, and we've known each other for quite a while now, so I guess I shouldn't feel that weird. he's my best friend. well, maybe that's why, he's my best friend. but I have to say I kind of have feelings for him. and clearly he has feelings for me.

(Michael's POV)

I still can't believe I did that. I asked my best friend out when I don't have that big of feelings for her. I have to say I do have a little feelings for her, but not total love.

"Hey mike, get over it! she's just a girl" my friend Jeffery said. "She'll get over it. she'll understand it was just a dare, unless you do have feelings towards her."

I look at him like he's from mars "Jeff... she's a girl, you know how girls are... now I will go on the date with her and afterwards I will say it's not going to work out and leave and still just be friends. Simple as that."

"Its impossible for a guy and girl to be "just friends"" he says looking at the other guys.

I need to get some fresh air, other than my friends stupid house. It smells like cigarette smoke, I hate that smell.
"I better head home now... Have a good evening, bye." I wave.

I walk outside and decide to go for a walk. I can't stop thinking about Jennifer. Do I have real feelings for her, or is it just my brain going crazy and saying I do when I really don't. ugh, I don't know! i'm going to the park, that should be a nice place.

(Jennifer's POV)

i really need to get this off my mind, im gonna go to the park to watch the kids playing. they always make me happy when i watch them, they just have that control over me, their innocence, their love, and they never lie nor do they break your heart, no confusions in life, they just play without a care for the world.

i start out the door, its only a 5 minute walk to the park.when i got there i saw a man wearing all black, sitting on the bench. he had s surgical mask on and black glasses, with a fedora. he kind of reminded me of michael.

as i walk over to the man, i noticed he looked sad. i wondered what was wrong.

i sit down and say "excuse me sur..." he looks up at me. i could see he was smiling, he takes of the mask. those lips, that chin... i know them, but from where?

he then takes off his glasses so i could see his eyes "hi!" he puts his arm around me.

"oh michael, i knew you looked familiar!" he chuckled for a couple seconds while i smiled. then he stopped and just stared at me. "um... michael."

"oh sorry" he blushes slightly "you're just so beautiful" i blush madly, does he know he's the one who's beautiful!
