You smile to yourself happily as today was your 1 year anniversary with Kanan. You had gotten a present for her and couldn't wait to give it to her. Walking down the hallway, you blush slightly just thinking how she would react.

Near the clubroom door, you hear muffled noise coming from the inside, your pace increases as the sounds get louder with each step you take. Is someone in pain...? What's with the noises...

You open the door only to wish you had never opened it.

Your girlfriend was under another girl their lips locked in a kiss. This girl you've never even seen before. (Srry, I didn't wanna make it Mari...she wouldn't do that)

You wanted to scream and yell, but instead, you take a step back, face distorted in betrayal and pain. How could she do this to you...? Were you just not good enough for her anymore? You think as you run away ignoring the calling of the voices behind you.

Tears run down your face as you slam the door to your bedroom. Wailing into a pillow, you try to muffle your sobs, just in case your family hears. But you are angry. You are in pain. And most of all, heartbroken.

*Kanan's POV*

"(Y/N)!" I yell before looking to the ground and seeing a small wrapped gift. I pick it up and take out a card.

To Kanan:

This is to our 1 year anniversary! I really enjoy spending time with you, and I just can't get over how much I love you. I hope we always stay like this!

A wave of guilt washes through me as I gingerly open the gift box. A sapphire studded bracelet with a small dolphin on it was place inside.

"So thats what she was doing the past few days..." I mumble to myself angry that the thought of her cheating would even cross my mind. I have to apologize!

*back to normal POV*

You hear a knocking at your door and decide to ignore it, you didnt want to talk to anyone right now.

Thump

You lift your head slightly confused.

Thump

You turn your head to your door narrowing your still teary eye.

"Who's th-" you don't get to finish as Kanan burst in the door.

"(Y/N)..."

"Kanan." You say feeling a lump rise in your throat.

"I'm so sorry."

"Don't be, I'd rather you be happy with someone, than someone..." your voice cracks. "...you aren't happy with."

"..." Kanan stays silent as you go into a rant.

"When did this happen, when was I not good enough anymore?" You lift your head up another wave of tears gushing out "W-why didn't you tell me? ...I would've understood, you didnt need to hurt me like that. I..."

"(Y/N)..." Kanan says unsure.

"No, dont. Please. Just...dont." You pause before continuing. "I hate you...I hate you so much."

Kanan flinches.

"I wish I really could. Hate you, I mean. But deep down, I know I still love you. Even if you don't like me, I still love you. Like a puppy, although broken and scarred, it'll always go back to that owner no matter how bad they hurt it. So you can throw me away all you want, you can hurt me. But I want you to know, no matter how hard I try... I just can't bring myself to hate you."

At this point you break into another sob as Kanan kneels down and embraces you gently.

"I'm sorry (Y/N), I never meant to make you feel this way... I really love you too, it's just the last few days, you kept ignoring me, I thought you...were cheating on me." she trails off.

"I would never do that to you!"

"And I know that now, that's why..." you close your eyes as you feel a pair of lips on yours, those pair of lips that belong to your girlfriend, Kanan.

A/N: ...I hope that was ok...seriously... I feel like I should rewrite this sometime...but for now...i hope it works.
