You x spoiledchild!reader

A/N: Here's your request ZelleCrimson ! Hope you like it!

I swear one day I'll get a bunch of these finished and post them all at the same time, but today is not that day. >< tbh my first instinct was to troll and write this story in the POV I usually do just to confuse you guys on whether I was talking about you or You xD I obvs didn't and changed to a more 1st person POV since I figured I'd be nice, plus I wanted to try constantly switching character POVs~ Anyways, enjoy!

"You-chan!"

The ash haired girl turns around at the sound of her name and spots Kanan, Chika, and Hanamaru jogging towards her.

"What's up? Are you guys training?"

Kanan smiles, "Yup, these two asked for some help so here we are."

The two girls are bent over next to the deep sea diver, panting and trying to catch their breaths.

"Wh-where are....where are you heading, You-chan?" Chika asks, her eyes looking up at the ocean eyed girl.

"Oh, nowhere in particular. I just wanted to go on a walk since it was a nice day! Ah, I know! How about I join you guys? I'm not exactly dressed to go jogging, but I can move enough with what I have on!"

The high diver then proceeds to demonstrate her movement by jogging in place, before deciding to jog backwards a few feet to where the pavement stopped at a crosswalk.

"Ah--Wait!!"
"Look out!"
"You-chan!"

The uniform enthusiast collides into someone who happened to be standing just before the crosswalk waiting for a few cars to cross, the impact causing the phone in the girl's hand to fall into the street.

Neither girls fall, but as the (h/c) haired girl turns around, a car zooms by, crushing the defenseless phone that had been left after it fell.

xXx

I hear the sound of glass and metal getting crushed as I stared at the short haired girl who collided into me, my eyes widening.

No...my phone!!

I immediately turn around just as the car drives out of sight to see my poor, unfortunate device in pieces on the crosswalk. I walk in front of it and bend to pick it up, my hands shaking slightly.

"M-my...my phone..."

"S...Sorry! I'm so sorry!" I turn around to find the ash haired girl bowing in front of me with her hands in front, pressed together against her thighs, "I'll make it up to you somehow!"

I look to the remains of my phone in my hands as an angry mark appears on my head, my blood rising at the same time, "You're getting me a new phone!"

She tilts her head up to look as me before finally standing upright to look me in the eyes. I didn't notice earlier, but her eyes are a really deep shade of blue...

She's really pretty.

"Wh-what?"

"You heard me! This is your fault anyways!"

"N-no no no, no, that's impossible, I can't afford to get you a new one!"

Out of the corner of my eye I see three other girls, who must've been with the one standing in front of me now, approach us.

I turn my head and recognize the shortest one to be in the same year and class as me. Hanamaru Kunikida, I believe her name was. I didn't know who the other two were, but I've seen them around. It's hard not to, in a town as small as this.

"Are you two okay?" The girl with orange hair asks while I turn my head away from them to look again at the conflicted maiden in front of me.

"Ara--(L/n)-chan."

"You know her, Hanamaru?" The tallest girl of the group asks as I cross my arms, still clutching my broken phone.

"Yeah, she's in my class. This is (Y/n) (L/n), zura. Th--"

"I can introduce myself, you know, Kunikida-san." The short girl smiles sheepishly as I continue, "Like she said, I'm (Y/n) (L/n), and I fully expect you to buy me a new phone!" I point to the girl that caused my phone to fall out of my hands.

"Like I said, there's no way I can buy you a new phone."

I glare at her before replying, "Of course you can. Don't think you can get out of this one, uh...o-ocean eyed girl!"

"Ocean...? My name is You. You Watanabe! 2nd year. Yousoro~!" She salutes with a smile. I notice a light blush dust her features and I blink again, convinced I was seeing things.

I stare at her for a couple more seconds before scoffing in an attempt to regain some composure.

"At any rate, Watanabe-senpai, you owe me a phone."

"I just sai--"

"It's no use, You-san." the girl in my class cuts in, "She's known to get her way since she's pretty spoiled, zura, and everyone calls her a spoiled princess~"

"Hmph. Say what you want, I don't care. If I were to wave money in front of most of their faces they'd bow in a second no matter what they say."

The girl with her long hair tied up sighs, "She makes me think of a more spoiled and selfish version of Mari somehow. Oh, I'm Kanan Matsuura by the way, 3rd year."

"Zuraaaa." Was that her agreeing? What kind of sound...?

"Look, just get me a new phone alright? I don't care what you have to do to get it. And a new case too, while you're at it."

All three of them sweat drop while looking at me. I merely glare back, wondering what this weird feeling in my chest was as my eyes focus on the gir--I mean, You Watanabe-senpai.

"H-how about I work for you? Like, run errands or something? I wouldn't mind!"

I ponder her words for several seconds. Maybe I could ask father to give her some work to do and to pay her...

"May I borrow one of your phones? I need to make a quick call to make sure."

Watanabe-senpai hands me her phone. Our hands brush and I keep my eyes on the phone, fighting back the heat that's forcing its way onto my face.

I quickly dial the number and wait.

xXx

"Are you sure this is what you want to do, zura?" Hanamaru turns and asks me as I take a glance at the (h/c) haired girl on the phone.

"I don't really mind. I mean, it kinda is my fault her phone broke..."

Kanan gives me an easygoing smile, "Are you sure you're not doing this just because you think she's cute?"

My face flushes hotly as I pointedly look at the sky. I mean she kinda looks like an elementary school kid which makes her really cute but that's besides the point!

"Oooo, nice reaction!" Chika teases. At least I think she's teasing.

"A-a-anyways! Since I can't afford a new phone and since it was my fault for running into her, I'll work for her to make up for it!"

All three of them stare at me with a knowing smile as I finish my sentence, causing the blush to return in full force.

"What she looks like doesn't matter!"

"What are you talking about?" The girl, (Y/n)-chan, questions as she walks up next to me.

I turn to face her as I begin to stammer while waving my hands frantically in front of me, "N-nothing! It's no-nothing."

Her (e/c) eyes stare at me for a few more seconds before she lets out a huff, "At any rate, you'll be working until you can afford me a new phone, and you start tomorrow senpai. I'll see you after classes to give you the details."

She waves with a sense of elegance only someone spoiled could pull off as she walks away. I could only stare at her retreating figure, feeling a deep, alarming sense of dread over what she might make me do tomorrow yet at the same time I feel...happy?

"You-chan you're smiling really wide." I hear Kanan say.

I look at her, alarm shaping my features as a bright blush colors them. Kanan and Hanamaru are smiling knowingly at me while Chika just smiles obliviously. I think my days are about to get much more interesting.

I give them an embarrassed smile while rubbing the back of my head, "Full steam ahead!"

xXx

I sat in my classroom, gathering my belongings.

Today Aqours had canceled their practice since apparently the student council president, Dia-senpai, had a pile of work she has to finish for the upcoming school festival so the other third years, Kanan-senpai and Mari-senpai, are helping her.

I sighed and stood up. Carrying my bag on my shoulder, I was about to leave the classroom when I heard someone calling for me.

"(Y/n)-san!"
"Zura!"

I turn to see the younger Kurosawa and her best friend, Hanamaru-san. They hurry up to me as I turn to fully face and blankly stare at them.

"Yes?"

"Um, You-san said she'd be a little bit late today..." the green eyed girl timidly spoke with her hands clasped in front of her.

I scowled at her words causing the soft-spoken girl to jump and hide behind her friend.

"Is that so?" I cross my arms over my chest wondering what could cause that occasionally hyperactive girl to be late today.

"She said she'll meet you at your house, so you can go ahead. She's been working for you for a while now, huh zura."

I hum in agreement, "Over a month now, I believe..." I then turn my back to them and begin walking away, "Hmph, she'd better hurry. Otherwise she'll be working all weekend."

I leave them without sparing a glance back, making my way out of the school building.

Once outside, I look up at the clear afternoon sky. Seeing it as bright as it is now despite it getting later in the day, I couldn't help but think of that senpai of mine that I've, honestly, been spending a lot of time with.

It can't be helped, I think to myself, she has to get me a new phone after all. It's not like I've gotten attached to her or anything. I feel my face grow warm causing me to stomp my way out of the school grounds and onto the road that will lead me home.

xXx

"Do you think one of them will finally confess today, zura?"

"Eh? You mean (Y/n)-san likes You-san back?"

"...Ruby-chan, I know your sister sheltered you to an extent, but have you really not noticed?"

"Wh-wha--I mean,it just seemed one sided, and I didn't think..."

"Mm, but have you noticed how happy she seems around You-san? She even acts a bit differently zura."

"Hmm, now that you mention it...even when You-san isn't working for her they seem to hang out..."

"I think they'll get together soon. If not, I'm sure a little push in the right direction will get things moving. Let's go home, zura."

"D-did you just wink at me? Did you do something Maru-chan? W-wait, don't leave meeee!"

xXx

I stood in front of (Y/n)'s house, mansion?, slightly panting in my rush to get here. Hanamaru and Ruby relayed her message to me before they went home and while I love spending time with that spoiled (h/c) haired girl, I'd honestly rather not spend it with me working.

Especially after what Hanamaru-chan said...though I suppose I should take it with a grain of salt, so to say.

I rang the doorbell after catching my breath. The door opens after a several seconds to reveal an older looking maid who I've come to know as Akari-san. She smiles sweetly once she sees that it's me.

"Ara, You-chan. Just in time, the young ojou-sama was just starting to grow impatient."

I give her a sheepish smile, "Sorry, Akari-san! I had some things to take care of first! Where is she?"

The elder maid step aside to let me in as she replies, "She's in her room right now. Go ahead and hurry over," she gives me a knowing smile while closing the door, "I'm sure she's tired of waiting."

I feel myself flush at what she's implying so to save myself from anymore embarrassment I quickly walk away. A-am I that obvious?

I've been inside this place long enough to know where the (e/c) eyed girl's room is, so I hurry along. Once I reach the door, I raise my hand to knock only for the door to suddenly open and for someone to walk into me with enough power to cause me to stumble back a step.

"Oomph?!"
"Kya--who?!"

(Y/n) stares at me for a few seconds as I notice her face start to glow red. Cute.

"Um, sorry I'm late..." my earlier cheerfulness turns into shy anxiety, "Are you okay?"

"Y-you-senpai..."

Her timid words catch me off guard before she seems to recall herself. She clears her throat and levels a glare at me.

"Wha-what took you so long?! Did you really want to work all weekend? Geez, just because you're late doesn't mean I'll let you slack!"

She starts to walk past me but I grab her hand before she can get too far.

"W-wait there's a few things I need to tell you before I start working today..."

She eyes me skeptically before leading me into her bedroom, her hand not letting go of mine.

This is a good sign, yeah? Now just try not to...screw it up. Maybe try not to focus on how adorable she is?

xXx

I lead You-senpai into my bedroom since I didn't want to stand and listen to whatever she has to say in the hallway, mostly because I didn't want anyone eavesdropping.

Akari already teases me enough as it is.

I stop by the table and sit down in the nearby chair. She stands right beside me and I'm about to question why when I realize I still haven't released her hand.

My face turns scarlet as I quickly let go, "Wh-what did you want to say?!"

A light pink dusts her face as she quietly rubs the back of her head with one hand for a few seconds, still standing next to me.

She then reaches into her bag and pulls out a box. I raise an eyebrow in question as she offers it in front of me.

"It's the same as the one I broke. The case is inside."

I blankly stare at her before as I take the object in her hands, "What?"

She smiles amused and a part of me is tempted to do anything to keep seeing her smile like that. Oh gods (Y/n), stop it. Focus!

"Your phone. The one I broke? The whole reason I started working for you?"

"Ah--" That's right, somehow it momentarily escaped my mind, "R-right, of course. I'm glad you remembered I wanted a case too, not that you were allowed to forget."

I open the box and inspect the phone and case located inside. Once satisfied that she got the right items and that the case was to my taste, I turn on the phone only to find that it's already been preset with phone numbers.

I scroll through all the numbers that's been added into the phone to find that all of them are the numbers of all the Aqours members.

I look up at You to see her smiling at me, "I thought you'd want their numbers. Of course, mine's there too. You should, um, check the notes app."

I watch as her ocean blue eyes dart to the side while a darker shade of pink covers her face.

I turn back to the phone in my hands once I'm able to tear my eyes away from my blushing senpai and open the notes app. There was only one note, so I immediately pressed it.

'(Y/n), I hope you like the case, since I'm sure you'll like the phone since it's the same as your old one. I made sure to get a case similar to my eye color since the first time we met you said I had ocean blue eyes.'

I pause in my reading to steal a glance at the slightly fidgeting girl to find that she's staring at my face. I quickly advert my eyes back to my phone.

'Honestly I'd much rather have your eyes. They're such a pretty shade of (e/c). Your hair looks really silky too! Um, it probably seems like I'm rambling or stalling for something, since this note is so long but I'm sure it would be much worse if I were speaking instead. Anyways, I really like you and I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date this weekend?'

My face explodes in color and heat as I slowly bring my eyes up to You.

"Um, y-you don't uh, I mean, I understand, if, you know..." she sheepishly smile at me.

I stare at her, wrestling with all the emotions going through me at this moment.

Eventually I grab onto her shirt and pull her closer, allowing me to hug her waist, "Y-you have to get me whatever I ask for this weekend, okay?!"

She relaxes and softly pats my head before I feel her lips press against my scalp, "I'll get you whatever you want, if I can afford it."

I smile despite myself and hug her tighter, "Don't worry, you still work here after all."

A/N: なんか、I feel like these are getting longer and longer after each publication. If only I could write this much on my research papers lololol.
