"We need to get everyone out of here!" Tasha yelled to Thor as the ship was under fire. "I can open a portal and get through as many people as I can. You keep Thanos' goons away as long as you can."

Thor clasped his sister's shoulder. "Be safe, sister. May we meet again."

"May we meet again, big brother." Tasha replied before rushing to the other end of the room. "C'mon everyone! Put your hand on the person in front of you, and don't let go!" She used her magic to create a portal to the closest, safest world she could. Loki held onto her waist, his magic flowing through her to help her keep the portal open longer.

"I can't hold it much longer." Tasha mumbled to him.

"You need to go!" Loki grabbed onto her wrists, pulling her towards the portal. "There isn't much time!"

"No! Not without you!" Tasha cried, tugging her wrists away from his tight hold. "I won't lose you again!"

"I won't have you die because of me!" Loki cried, grabbing onto both sides of her face. "Please, my love. Please. You must go!"

"No! We do this together! Either we live together or die together. I will not leave you." Tasha replied with no remorse in her eyes as the portal closed. "I would rather die at your side than live one moment without you."

Loki shook his head in disbelief, pulling Tasha into a passionate kiss. The couple held onto each other for dear life, both knowing very well how powerful Thanos was. "You are truly the most stubborn woman I've ever met."

"You're the one in love with me." Tasha replied with a sly smile as she tried to ignore the worry in her heart.

"That I am," Loki placed his cold lips on hers for a single moment. "I love you, so very much."

Tasha pressed her lips to his jaw, "I love you too, Loki."

Their moment of peace was interrupted as the golden doors broke open, through it four enemies came through ready to fight. In the distance they saw Thanos fighting Thor. As Loki and Tasha fought the children of Thanos, she noticed a young girl hiding behind a pile of debris. While Thor and Loki had their enemies distracted, she called out to the young run. "Run, child! Hide!"

Unfortunately the child nearly ran into a laser shot, only having it miss because Tasha shoved her out of the way. The laser skimmed her rib cage, causing her to cry out in pain as she fell to the ground. She quickly regained her composure, using her sword to cut the throat of the enemy coming towards her. It was then she noticed Thanos was staring right at her.

Tasha held her gauntlets out and shield up, blocking the powerful magic he threw her way, and in turn the child's way. Thor was on the ground defeated and Loki had a knife pointing to his throat.  Tasha stood tall as the magic hit her, the gauntlets providing little protection as the force hit her again and again, rocks and debris scratching and cutting her exposed skin.

She felt her energy draining, and she realized then that was Thanos' plan from the beginning;  render her magic to the point of uselessness. She ignored the pain flowing through her body, before she felt a cold feeling enter her chest. She could hear Loki crying for Thanos to stop, who simply laughed at the weak gesture.

"You're strong, young one." Thanos smiled as he noticed the life draining from the young goddess' face. "Unfortunately for you, I outmatch your strength and perseverance."

Tasha let out a scream as she pushed the energy back with her gauntlets long enough to shove the child away from the fight, but right as Tasha did Thanos hit her hard with his magic, sending her flying back hard onto the concrete wall with a loud thud.

In a mere moment, one of Thanos' minions shot at the child, lasers shooting through her body. Tasha watched helplessly as the child fell to the ground. She pulled the girls frail body into her arms, tears falling down her face as she watched the light leave the child's eyes. Tasha's sword was taken by a woman before she was pulled to her feet and dragged over to where Thanos stood. He turned his back to her, walking towards Thors body and dragging it towards them.

"I know what it's like to lose." Thanos began to speak as he grabbed Thor's body and began to drag him forward. "To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. As lightning turns the legs to jelly. I ask you to what end? Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same." Thanos dropped Thor before holding up his gauntlet. "And now, it's here. Or should I say, I am."

"You talk too much." Thor mumbled, blood easily heard in his mouth as he spoke.

"The Tesseract. Or your brother's head." Thanos looked to Loki who simply looked back at the Titan. "I assume you have a preference."

"Oh, I do." Loki paused. "Kill away."

"What?!" Tasha exclaimed, glancing over at Loki before looking to Thanos who seemed amused at her reaction before he pushed the infinity stone to Thor's head, causing the God to scream out in pain.

Tasha closed her eyes, only to have the woman holding her cut the edge of her throat. "You will watch your brothers demise, princess."

Loki watched as Thanos tortured Thor, a smirk on his face which quickly turned to fear and sadness. "Alright, stop!"

"We don't have the Tesseract! It was destroyed on Asgard." Thor explained to Thanos once he had taken the stone away from his head.

Loki's facial expression gave him away instantly as guilt clearly showed. He made the Tesseract appear in his hand, holding it up towards Thanos.

"You really are the worst, brother." Thor grumbled.

"I assure you, brother. The sun will shine on us again." Loki assured.

"Your optimism is misplaced, Asgardian." Thanos said simply.

"Well, for one thing, I'm not Asgardian. And for another... we have a Hulk."

Loki pushed Thor out of the way, disappearing from Tasha's line of sight as Hulk emerged, attacking Thanos. When she went to fight, she was so overcome with weakness that she fell against the woman holding her up. "For someone supposedly powerful, you are very weak, princess."

"You caught me on a bad day, lady." Tasha forced a smile and a glare. "For the record, I am Tasha, Daughter of Odin and Frigga, Queen of Asgard."

"It must be horrible being Queen to a place which no longer exists."

Tasha watched in horror as Thanos' knocked Hulk out cold, a feat she had never witnessed before. Thor tried to attack Thanos but also lost in mere moments. She watched as Heimdel used the last of his magic to send Hulk away, causing Thanos' attention to turn back to him.

"That was a mistake." And with one swift motion he stabbed Heimdel dead.

Tasha let out a scream, tears falling down her face as she struggled against her captor.

"You're going to die for that." Thor vowed as he glared at Thanos, only to have metal wrap around his mouth.

"Shh." The man turned to Thanos. "My humble personage...bows before your grandeur. No other being has ever had the might...nay, the nobility...to wield not one,
but two Infinity Stones. The universe lies
within your grasp."

Thanos broke the Tesseract, equipping the stone onto his gauntlet, a jolt of power flowing through it.
"There are two more stones
on Earth. Find them, my children,
and bring them to me on Titan."

"Father, we will not fail you."

"If I might interject." Loki popped up behind the debris enthusiastically. "If you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I do have a bit of experience in that arena."

"If you consider failure experience." Thanos mused.

"I consider experience experience." Loki replied, keeping his eyes as far away from Tasha as he could muster. "Almighty Thanos...
I, Loki, prince of Asgard..." He glanced over to Thor and Tasha.

"Odinson..."

"The rightful king of Jotunheim...god of mischief...do hereby pledge to you..."

Tasha's eyes pleaded with Loki as he stepped towards Thanos. Please don't do this. She knew what he had planned. They both knew it would result in failure. Please don't, Loki. Please!

"... my undying fidelity."

But he had to try.

Tasha let out a sob when Loki tried to stab Thanos with his dagger, the Titan stopping him using his newly acquired infinity stone.

"Undying?" Thanos chuckled when he looked from Loki to Tasha, then back. "You should choose your words more carefully." He kept Loki in the air as he stepped towards her. "So you're the girl I've heard so much about."

Tasha was still as he looked over her. "You got what you want. Just let them go."

"Oh, I haven't got near to what I want, but this? This is a start."

Tasha stood tall as she glared at the Titan. "I'm not afraid of you."

"No, I suppose not. Pity you've chosen the losing side."

Before Tasha could retort, Thanos grabbed onto her neck, lifting her into the air as he squeezed. Loki was yelling at him to stop and she could hear Thor muffled screams against the metal covering his mouth.

"I told you I would make you watch her death." Thanks said as he looked over at Loki, holding Tasha's gasping form by her neck, the air quickly leaving her lungs. "Do you see what insolence brings, God of Mischief?"

"I'll do whatever you want! Just please! Please don't hurt her!" Loki begged, fighting against the magic that held him still. "Please!"

Thanos laughed. "It would be too easy." He let Tasha's neck go, letting her fall hard to the ground before walking towards Loki. "Unfortunately, she is still needed. You, however, have lost your usefulness."

Tasha went to use her magic against Thanos but was immediately stabbed through the abdomen with metal before her hands were tied to the ground with it, keeping her in place as Thanos grabbed Loki's neck. Thor's mouth was covered still, but Tasha could clearly hear his yelling as Thanos began to squeeze Loki's neck.

"Please!" Tasha cried out, "Please don't hurt him!" Tears streamed down her face as she saw the love of her life go blue. "PLEASE! Loki—"

Tasha felt her heart tear in half as she heard Loki's neck snap before Thanos let his limp body fall to the floor. "No. No!" Tasha screamed, fighting the restraints as Thanos glanced towards Loki's body.

"No resurrections this time."

Tasha screamed as the metal that held her back began to squeal as she dragged it along the floor. Her arms were cut harshly by it as it moved slowly, inch by inch.

"You're strong, child." Thanos walked up to her, smiling as he lifted her chin up. "What a pity you had to learn the hard way ."

Tasha glared with pure hatred at the Titan. "I will kill you."

Thanos chuckled at that. "We will no doubt cross paths again, child." He gave her a smile before he turned towards his lackies, disappearing in a flash of light.

Tasha fell to her knees as the restraints unbound her, sobbing relentlessly as she shook Loki's shoulders. "Get up! Loki, please! Get up! Loki!" She cried, her entire body shaking as the ship began to destroy itself. Thor fell at her side, holding her brother and sister tight in his grasp.

"Loki, please!" She begged, and as the ship exploded Tasha let out a finale heart-wrenching cry.

In an instant Thor was pulled into the depths of space, but Tasha's magic clung to Loki as she was surrounded by energy, her heart racing out of her chest as she saw flashes of stars before nothing. Tasha accepted her impending doom, and she only hoped she would soon be reunited with her lover.

Purple light shot from the sky, hitting the ground below repeatedly until a constant flow of energy. This went on for only a few seconds before the light faded to nothing, the only remains being the charred ground below. A man slowly stepped out from the forest, his eyes scanning the scene in front of him. A woman with long brown hair was kneeling on the ground, in her arms the corpse of a man. She gripped his body for dear life, the light glow in her skin fading as the light seemed to transfer into his body.

The man stopped dead in his tracks when he realized why the woman looked familiar, his heart racing as his steps hastened.

"Tasha?"

Slowly, the woman turned her head to look at him. Her eyes were dark, tears falling from them harshly while blood fell from her abdomen and wrists. Darkness took hold of her as she fell to the ground, her body going limp as she felt nothing but emptiness consume her.
