Chapter 26:I couldn't understand what was happening. Blood started flowing from my forehead to the neck. I slowly started losing my senses.ARVIND POV:I was moving my eyeballs inside my eyelids and tried to open my eyes. I couldn't open my eyelids easily. With a lot of effort, I began but couldn't figure out who was standing in front of me. My vision was blurred.What was happening? I tried to lift my hand to rub my eyes for proper vision.

My hand was heavy. I was wrapped in bandages. I used my other hand to clear my eyes for an adequate view. I could see Mrudula, Father, and brother in law.She came to me and touched my forehead "how are you? I was frightened. "I looked at my brother in law.

He gestured that she doesn't know anything."Fine. The bike skidded and fell.""Then how did you get hit on the forehead," she questioned. Oh! I have bandages on the head too."He skidded and hit the pole nearby," my brother in law managed."Sir, The doctor is calling you to give patients a prescription. You can take the patient home. "the nurse addressed to my sister and others. "I'll go," Mrudula said, started to walk with the nurse.

My only suggestion is not to get them into trouble again," he said while checking my damaged parts.I nodded at him in silence."You can go home now.come to hospital after one month for a checkup," he said and left the room.Everyone came into the room." Ramesh vacated the room and came to my sister's house. He started to go to interviews like hell. But he couldn't get it. Luck was not favoring him. In the meanwhile, I am healing speedily. My brother in law and sister took good care of me.

Father left for Hyderabad and got busy with business deals.Days were running fast.Sunil used to call me every day and enquired about my health.One day I got a call from Sunil. I went to the doctor for check up after a month. He ran a few tests and confirmed that I had recovered very speedily. I was happy to hear that. It was time for job hunt now. I decided to attend interviews before joining Sunil's Company. I attended along with Ramesh for8 interviews. But luck didn't favor us yet again.I started to hit the gym to let out my frustration.

Very soon, I became obsessed with gyming and started to do it for 3 hours daily. This habit made me fit and healthy. The appropriate body improves our confidence.The 9th interview gave us some luck. We both went to the final round. Ramesh was very tensed as he lost four jobs in the final round. I met one of the employees from the Company and asked: "how many job vacancies are there?""only one, "he concludedwe both got selected for the final round. Either one of us would get the job.Ramesh was desperately in need of the job. So, in the negotiations, I asked more CTC, which I know for sure they won't give.

Ramesh got that job.He came to me and cried in joy, "Oh! Arvind, I got it. Finally, I could get it.""Oh!congratulations, Ramesh," I smiled genuinely.Ramesh gave us a big party. He shifted near to his office. We used to meet during weekends often.As the days passed, I went for another three more interviews and finally got placed. Days are passing very quickly. Within one year, I got promoted as a lead. Now, our Company has 80 employees. Everything was speeding up at a fast pace.

Everyone is happy with my success in my career, especially my sister."Hey, Arvind, we are having a party tomorrow. Join us without fail" Kavya ordered,"what is the occasion suddenly?" I asked curiously."It's a bachelor party for our marriage," said with a blush.

Sunil and Kavya were busy greetings.I took a mocktail and came to the terrace garden. The crowd was very sparse. I started enjoying the city view from the balcony.Sirisha an employee in our Company, came there full high in alcohol.

She came closer to me. "why don't you have alcohol, Arvind?" She asked."Sorry, I quit alcohol and took an oath that I won't be drinking again.""you know what. Even I don't take alcohol.

Today was the first time. My friends said I would get courage if I take alcohol," she giggled."you are a courageous girl.No need to have alcohol and prove it.""no, I do not have courage.""Oh, is it? I could see them from the balcony.Two guys are trying to force a girl to take her with them.I sensed something was wrong and went downstairs. I couldn't see them. I started running everywhere to see if there was any sign of their presence. I lost them so; I decided to go to the Party. As I was going back to the Party, I could hear "leave me,leaveeee meeee" a sound from one of the cars.

I immediately followed the voice and saw two guys trying to close the door of the car by pushing the girl into the car. I quickly pulled one of the guys and hit him on the nose thrice. He immediately ran away from the spot. The second one came furiously towards me with a knuckle duster to his right hand and tried to hit me.I took an iron rod which was near me and hit him on the head.with one shot; he fell on the ground.

Immediately I went near the car. She was drunk. I couldn't see the face in the car. Moreover, the place was dark. Anyway, she should be safe, that is what matters to me right now.I lifted her and came out, trying to concentrate my footsteps. Taking extra care on my walk as the girl was in my hands."Arvind," I heard the girl murmur. I was shocked.How does she know my name? Who is she?I averted my gaze towards her. She was none other than Navya."you are like my Arvind," she said and lost her Consciousness.
