Clue Letter-Temple

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

CHAPTER-9:

ARVIND POV:

"The girl with whom I tried to flirt and got beaten black and blue by people at the park because of a misunderstanding is none other than Navya," he snapped.

"What? "I shouted.

"I had been thinking deep from the day I saw your love that I had seen her somewhere. Divya's facial features resemble her sister. I should have remembered her (Navya) properly", he howled

Getting the young lady's adoration would turn out to be significantly harder for me. The first impression will always turn out to be the best impression and my friend..... Oh! Disgusting.

Now, what to do? I need his help in dealing with Divya. I am not a very confident guy in managing girls. But, his presence may create more problems.

" First try to get her attention bro. Let destiny decide later, "he said.

"hmm..."

........................................................................................

By now, we came to know her daily routine.

When would she come to the balcony and when she would be going to college. What would they do on Sundays and much such stuff? In a nutshell, I understood that she rarely steps outside except for college. I started to roam around her house on my bike to grab her attention.

She seemed to be a bookworm. I see her walking in the balcony and reading some books. Perhaps a novel.

With Sunil's mastermind, I started to try in all sorts of means to grab her attention, and it continued for two weeks.

As usual, one day, my angel was reading something walking around in the balcony. I accelerated my bike back and forth to grab her attention. Sunil kept an eye from a certain distance to ensure we don't end up into problems. While trying to show my heroic stunts, I somehow missed my frequency and went tumbling down the road. Thankfully I wasn't injured majorly.

I heard a small giggle from somewhere. I tilted my head to see who it was. My love was laughing. She immediately diverted her gaze into the book when our eyes met.

I understood that she had been noticing my presence for a long time. However, she didn't want to reveal it. Although the pain from the fall was pricking me, my heart started to thump harder with happiness. Half of me was confident that she noticed me while the other half objected to it. I was in a dilemma.

I told the entire happening to Sunil. He huffed and said, "Bro... Till now, you tried your level best. Now, it's time to propose her."

"But how?" I was scared as well to talk to her, forget about proposing.

"Write a love letter to her"

I wasn't ready yet to propose her.

Love letter? Will it work? Suddenly an idea popped in my mind. How about writing a clue letter instead of a love letter. I told my view of Sunil.

"What's the use of it?" he retorted, scratching his head.

"This clue letter will help us figure out whether she noticed me or not when she starts relating to the clues. She will be more curious to know more about me."

"And then, I will let her know when I am going to send her a love letter."

"Nice idea bro! Love is surely improving you better," he winked.

Arvind POV:

After multiple scratches and paper wriggle, I wrote the letter.

.......................................

My clue letter:

I have seen You ...

The first time, it was on August 15 at the Krishna Kanth park.

Second time at the Orange travel bus stop in the Ameerpet area.

Accelerated my bike several times only to grab your attention

A delivered newspaper at your doorstep for 2 weeks as a paperboy.

Today I came to this temple dressed in a white shirt.

Tomorrow I shall send you the love letter to your home.

...............................

Through our research, we found out that the twin sisters go to the Geetha Mandir temple every Tuesday in the morning before going to college. This temple is 500 meters away from their house. We also came to know that their father won't be at home the next day i.e., Wednesday. So, its the perfect time to send her a clue letter in the temple and love letter the next day. How can I place a clue letter without her knowledge? I can't. So, I have decided to take Sunil's help.

.............................................................................................................................

Tuesday – Geetha Mandir temple.

Sunil and I came to the temple and waited for their arrival. I didn't say my plan to Sunil till then, as I didn't know how he would react. Within a few minutes, the twin sisters came to the temple. They started to do pradakshina (The action of walking clockwise around a person or deity as a mark of respect.) around the temple.

Both of them came in similar half sarees. Divya (elder sister) was having puja samagri in her hands(devotional items).

We also did pradakshina to follow them. After pradakshina, Sisters went inside the temple, offered prayers to god and came outside and sat in a place to have prasadam (A devotional offering made to a god, typically a food item that is later shared among devotees).

So, my plan is to place the clue letter in puja samagri basket(puja samagri is used as a veneration to god) without their knowledge.

"Arvind...What is the plan? ", Sunil asked.

"Place this clue letter in their puja basket without their knowledge," I said

"What?... no way common bro.", Sunil snapped

"A friend in need is a friend indeed. Do it for me, bro", I pleaded him.

Sunil has to place the clue letter without their knowledge, and Navya should not see him as he already has a bad past with her.

Sunil slowly tiptoed towards them to place the letter. Navya tilted her head slightly to the side, which made him run back from there. Luckily they didn't see him. He tried again, and this time somehow managed to place it in their basket and ran speedily like the Usain Bolt.

Now, I was much more tensed to see if Divya would read the letter or not.

While talking to her sister, Navya suddenly tilted her head to another side. Her face became red out of anger as she saw Sunil. Sunil silently walked away as if he doesn't know me.

Navya's eyes started to search across the temple. Maybe she was trying to look for Sunil.

After finishing the prasadam, Navya looked around for water. There were no taps nearby.

Suddenly, she saw the paper in the puja samagri basket and took it out with her hands.

Oh! Shit, Navya picked the letter, I almost screamed.
