Takuto's POV

My eyes open to early morning hearing Lillie muttering and curled up into a ball in my arms. What is with all of her nightmares? I think as i rub her back until she calms down. But she won't loosen her tightly-knitted eyebrows.

Work was early for me today, so even that i want to stay by her side, i had to get up and leave. 

Riki's POV

Watching Takuto leave for his work after a bowl of pork noodles, I went into the room to check up on her. Kenshi left for an emergency fire an hour ago, Hiro went to school, boss is still in the kitchen. I'm the only one who had work in the afternoon today.

Riki: "Kuin? Ogenkidesuka?"

I say as i walk to the bed. Just as Takuto described before, she was frowning in her sleep and breathing shortly, even her rapid beating heart can be heard from where i am standing. 

Leaning down, I peer at her. Tears are flowing down her cheeks. Suddenly, her eyes snap open and she reached out, grabbing my arm she pulled me in. Falling onto the bed, she clinged onto my arm. 

About to pull another joke, I saw her having a intimid look in her eyes. Now's not the time to be teasing her. I decided and just looked at her while letting her nails dig into my skin.

When i looked closely at her, I notice one of her contacts are slightly off. Her pupils red. Are her eyes red? She's wearing coloured contacts, isn't she? There really is nothing we know about her.

Kuin's point of view

I held onto the first thing that came into hand as soon as i open my eyes. 

Just noticing i pulled Riki down. He was gazing at me. He would've pulled on one of his teases now usually. But he isn't saying anything. Now was really the time that i need someone to hold onto. I didn't move, we stayed like that for a couple of minutes.

In the bathroom, I'm washing up. I looked terrible. Must've cried through the night, again. 

Wait.... Looking more closely into the mirror, I realize the contact i always wear, the one on my left eye shifted to the side slightly, revealing a rose-like colour. Because these days i had always been staying with the Black Foxes, I never got the chance to take them down. I wonder if Riki noticed. I think as i take the contacts down, revealing my natural eye-colour. I couldn't bare to look into the mirror. I quickly washed up.

Contacts back on, i walk into the bar on the first floor. It's 8 a.m.

Atsumu: "Good morning, Lillie! Did you sleep well?"

Lillie: "Yes thank you." A relaxed smile appears on my face, one that i can easily fake.

Riki stared at me occasionally at breakfast, I pretend not to notice.

"so where are you headed to today?" I ask Yuzuki. I still needed to follow him around.

We are at a filming tent right now. Yuzuki said he had a short commercial to film. I also took some photos while the camera was rolling. 

After that, we went for a quick drink.  "Don't you have anything to do?" he asks me, "y'know?"

Lillie: "Nashi. At least leader didn't announce anything, yet."

Yuzuki: "I see.... Can i ask you something?"

Lillie: "you already did, but go ahead, fire away."

He tensed a little, "that isn't your natural eye color, is it?"

Lillie: "uh...that isn't a big deal, is it? I just like hazel eyes."

He doesn't speak further, i sigh of relief mentally. Werid, that question came out of nowhere.

I review my calender while walking. Oh. I think as i see that tomorrow is December 25th. It's almost Christmas. I don't usually celebrate holidays, but this month, i met the guys and they were all good to me. I should do something back.

Sauntering around the huge mall. I hear two voices calling out to me. And i turn to see Iori and Ranko, each of them with at least eight gift bags. 

Ranko: "Hey, Lillie! I haven't seen you in forever!" 

Lillie: "Ranko! Iori! You two shopping for gifts?" I gave them a hug.

Iori: "Yup. You gotta give some colleagues something on Christmas."

Ranko: "You too? For whom?"

Lillie: "A bunch of people i met at a restaurant, they were nice to me."

I explain my situation with them, of course excluding the part where they are crimin-- i mean thieves.

Iori: "Aww! I'm so jealous. You get a group of hot guys around you every day!"

Ranko: "And you met YUZUKI?!!" she's the most excited about news like these. 

Iori: "Actually, a good-looking guy just transferred to our department, too."

Before we could say anything, i hear a voice from behind saying: "Hey, Ranko!" 

Ranko: "Oh right, Lillie, this is my brother, Tatsuro Togoshi." Ranko talked about her brother for a few times, but i never got to meet him. Hey, now that i take a look at him, he was one of the six models we had that day when i first knew the BF's names.  He slightly bowed. 

Iori: "Tatsuro's a detective, isn't that cool?" jolly as always.

To my surprise, he blushed slightly. "I've been hunting down the Black Foxes." he says.

Lillie: "Oh?" my voice not a pitch higher than usual. 

He came with Ranko and Iori shopping here, but was at the restrooms when Ranko spotted me.

I'm on my way to LRN, once again, after getting all the little presents i thought suited everybody well. 

"Hi." i say as i enter the bar, there were a few other customers there so the BFs are all at the counter. But Takuto wasn't in sight.

Hiro: "Lillie, you're back!" 

Kenshi: "Hey, Kuin." he smiled warmly at me.

I hid the bags while going upstairs. Found a good place (at least i think it's pretty good) to hide them and went back downstairs.

Being with these guys were always fun. But they started drinking pretty soon and the smell of alcohol started to spread around the bar. I walked out of the main entrance to get some fresh air.

It was late December and snow's flurrying lightly outside. I forgot my jacket, but i just plan on standing there for two minutes, so i didn't go back to get it. Then, I see a few children at the other side of the street playing with the snow. I've hardly ever saw snow when i was that young. I watch the children play and time slips by with me only in a thin sweater and jeans. 

"Achoo!" I sneezed. I'm getting cold. 

Just then, i felt weight on me. A jacket was draped over my shoulders. I look up to see Hiro.

Hiro: "Don't catch a cold." he smiles at me. I return it.

That was probably Hiro's jacket, it was way too big to be mine. I thanked him, but my legs were still shivering. And i sneeze again.

Hiro: "come on, let's go inside." i nod.

Riki: "Oh? You were cold?" he smirked at me as soon as i sat back down, "want me to warm you up?"

The side of my lips curl up. My sadist side is popping out. I flung my face right in front of his and look into his eyes while parting my lips slightly. He seemed really shocked. "Heh." I snort as i pull back. 

Hmm, my mouth is empty. I purse up my lips and grab a few mints from the counter and unwrapped two.

Hiro: "what was that?" it's been five minutes since someone spoke up.

"Not going on dates doesn't mean i have zero knowledge on how to flirt." I say without even looking up, i was focused on the mints. Now it feels cold whenever i breathe in through my mouth.

Hiro: "Anyway, Riki got beat in flirting!"

Riki: "Oh shut up."

Their conversations return to normal. 

Lillie: "By the way where's Takkun?" 

Kenshi: "he's pulling an all-nighter at his work." 

Does he do that often? It'll be bad for his health if so. 

I took off my contacts since tonight i had the whole room to myself. My eyes shined under the moonlight, or just the lights in the bathroom, whatever. 

I stared intently into the mirror. Where it reflected my different coloured eyes.
