Waking up the next morning, I got dressed and stood before the bathroom door. I AM afraid of bugs. I guess it's something i got after all those years of dumpster-living. I always hated those bugs. 

In front of the sink brushing my teeth, I realize after all the commotion yesterday, I forgot to soak my contacts. They're out on the sink counter, dry. 

Takuto: "I don't think people are going to make a huge commotion about it."

Hiro: "Those ruby and sapphire eyes of yours are beautiful."

Downstairs, the guys are all preparing for work, or school.

I feel self-conscious. I've never shown my eyes to other people other than Ranko and Iori. 

Takuto and I are walking towards where he works. I kept my head down. I don't think anybody's noticed me yet. 

We walk into the office. And the first person i met...

Takuto: "Hey, creepy." (who's he calling THAT?)

"T-Takuto!" the voice almost sound timid. It was funny, i can't help myself and looked up. 

Now i understand why he said he was creepy. He had a red headband tied around his forehead and looked pretty chubby. 

He gasped when he saw me, "w-who's t-this?"

Lillie: "...Lillie Kuin." 

"H-hi! My name's Hosoyama!" he reached out a hand, but i don't take it.

Hosoyama: "You have beautiful eyes...." Eh? 

Takuto: "keep your trotter to yourself." he says and grabs my hand and pulls me forward, walking pass 'creepy'.

Everyone who we passed by were burying their heads in their computers or laptops, no one noticed me. 

Takuto: "You're coming with me." 

I follow him to a room full of stuff. There were at least five computers and two laptops there. He took a seat in front of everything and turned on every one of them. 

Lillie: "Why do you even need so many?"

I took a red-covered laptop and sat in a bean bag at the corner. 

Work ended in no time. All the things he needed to program were complicated but easy. 

Takuto: "I hate to admit it, but work goes on double times faster with you around." 

I smiled, "do you have anywhere you want to go, Takkun?"

Takuto: "There's a book store above this floor. Wait, DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

Lillie: "But it seems like you've gotten used to it."

It's when we walked out of that room that people started to notice us.

"Hey look, Hirukawa's with a woman! I've never seen him with a girl."  "You're right!" "Why're her eyes red and blue?" "She's wearing coloured contacts, stupid!" 

I glare at the one who said that and smirked while turning away.  "No, I saw. I'm more than sure those are her natural pupils."  "Who's stupid now, huh?"  "Do you think Takuto got a girlfriend?"  "With his personality? No way."  "We'll see about that, then."

The gossips faded behind us as we make it upstairs. It was a clean little bookstore. Stacked like a mini-library. Takuto picked out a book and sat down to read. 

I also pick some out. But by the time i turn back, Takuto was wearing glasses. He looks so damn sexy right about now. 

Takuto's POV

I look up to meet her gaze, she was staring at me. 

Takuto: "Caught ya." I say with a slight smirk. But she says: "What? You wanna reward?" 

She had such a proud look on her face i decided to say, "what if i do?"

She looked shocked for an instant, then she smiled, "sure, close your eyes."

I don't know why i did but i just did. Then, I feel her presence coming closer and something poke into my mouth. Something sweet.

Opening my eyes to her giggling, I see that she stuffed a lollipop in my mouth. I snorted at her. What was i expecting, anyway? A kiss? 

I simply continue eating the lollipop while she sits beside me reading a book. 

Kuin's POV

My pranking habits came up again. I can't believe he actually closed his eyes!

I sit right next to him and open my book. Our shoulders brushing together. 

Takuto: "...you finished yet? We're heading back to LRN."

"Huh?" I look up to find it's been two hours. Takuto already finished his book. 

Lillie: "Oh you go on ahead, I think i'm buying this book."

He shrugged and went on outside. I stayed there for about ten more minutes and bought a few books. I went to the small register table.

Clerk: "Arigato. Miss, you are so lucky to have such a handsome boyfriend!"

Lillie: "Heh? He's no--" 

Clerk: "you know, that guy who's waiting for you outside?"

"Waiting for me?" i say and i peek out the store window, and saw Takuto right in the hallway.

I quickly pick up my things and light jogged outside.

Lillie: "You could've went back yourself, Takkun."

I say on our way back to LRN. It's five in the afternoon.

Takuto: "I wanted to wait for you."

Lillie: "Then you could've told me and i'll move faster!"

Then, he grabbed my hand, saying, "just shut up and walk." then, with his other hand, he carried my books.

Lillie: "Thanks."

Takuto: "..."

There was a comfortable silence all the way back to LRN.
