Poppy and Mia meet

Mia smiles at Branch as she stood there.

''It's been a while Branch.'' She said.

''Yeah, it has.'' He replied looking down.

''So, what have you been up to?'' She asked looking at him getting a funny feeling in her body.

''Not much.'' He replied sitting back down.

Mia noticed a picture on his desk of him and a pink troll and she felt her heart drop having a good guess as to who she is was.

''Wait? Is that Poppy the troll you left behind?'' She asked looking at it.

''Yes, it is.'' He said feeling his heart swelling with pride.

''She's a beauty. Are you guys back together? I thought she was married?'' Asked Mia.

''She did but if you watch the news her husband got arrested and was cheating on her so when I moved to Troll York City we got together and we are now engaged.'' Branch replied with a smile on his face.

''How sweet I would love to meet her.'' Mia said excitedly but felt her heart drop.

Branch didn't know how to feel about them meeting. ''You'll meet her eventually, she my other half of the CEO.'' He replied.

Mia nodded. She thought Branch had moved on with another girl but didn't think it would have been his ex, but she put on a good face. ''How fun, I'll be working with both of you.'' She smiles.

''Poppy is usually more of a fill in if I have to go away on a business trip.'' Branch said.

''I get it. Though I hope that I can go on these business trips.'' She replied leaning forward on the desk.

''Yes, you can and will, since we are the CEO, we have to travel to check on the other bank branches which there are a lot of them.'' Branch replied smiling at her.

''Got it.'' She smiled.

''I'll give you a tour of the place and then Ryan will take over.'' Branch replied.

''You're not going to train me? Someone needs to train this troll.'' She giggles batting her eyelashes.

''No, I'm not. Since you're taking over for Ryan, he should show you how to do it? We both have different ways of doing things but as long as we are on the same page at the end it doesn't matter.'' Branch chuckled and stood up as they walked out of the office.

He gave her a tour as they met some of the other trolls.

''So, these guys work under you?'' She asked.

''Yes, they do, but mainly answering phone calls and sending over the important ones if they seem its necessary.'' Branch said.

''Here is the breakroom if you want and the bathrooms are over here. And in these two rooms is a copier machine.'' He replied walking in picking up some papers on the ground as she stayed in the doorway.

''Fun times remember? In the doctor's office when we were in the closet.'' Asked Mia flirtingly.

Branch gulped and turned around to see Mia close to him their noses almost touched. ''Sure, I do.'' He remembered those times.

Mia was tempted to kiss him but didn't want him to think she came back for him and pulls away walking out of the door. ''I'm just teasing Branch, lighten up. You never could take a joke.''

Branch gave a strained smile and watched her. ''Come on finished showing me around before Ryan finishes.'' She winks at him.

Poppy was working on Rose's hair and smiled. ''There all done.''

Rose looked at her hair. ''Your amazing Poppy! I don't know how I will manage when you and Branch leave for your honeymoon.'' She said.

''You think this marriage will work?'' Asked Rose seriously.

''Yes, I do. He knew I was taken and if he wanted to, he could have dated or married someone else.'' Poppy said putting up the stuff.

''Well, nothing against Branch but he was dating you knowingly that you were married. What if he gets bored?'' Asked Rose looking at Poppy.

''He won't, and neither will I.'' Poppy said confidently.

''I'm sure nothing will happen.'' Rose said as she left to finish the last part of her show.

Poppy messaged Branch.

'On my way, see you soon!'

She then caught a cab, and it took her to the office.

Meanwhile Branch had just finished giving Mia the tour and they went back to his office.

''And there you go.'' He replied sitting down motioning for her to sit as well.

''It's a nice place and I love the workers.'' She smiled sitting down and winked at one of the male trolls walking past the office.

''Yeah, they are great for helping a lot of them are taken.'' Branch joked teasingly hoping she would find one of them to go after.

Mia smiles and leans forward again with a bit of her cleavage showing but Branch wasn't looking. ''Oh? Are there any single guys?'' She asked excitedly.

''Maybe a few.'' Branch grins leaning forward slightly and sat back up.

Poppy arrived and ran into Ryan.

''Hey Poppy.''

''Hey Ryan, I was just on my way to see Branch.'' She said happily.

''Funny I'm going that way. let's go together.'' He said motioning for her to follow.

Ryan and Poppy were best friends almost like siblings.

''So, you really moving away?'' Asked Poppy.

''Yeah, I want to be with my girl so yeah, I'm leaving.'' Ryan said.

''You will be missed.'' Poppy replied.

''Hehe, I know but I did find a replacement I left with Branch.'' Ryan said.

''Oh, I can't wait to meet our new partner but can do the job like you Ryan.'' Poppy said hugging his arm.

''Thanks. I'm gonna miss you and Branch.'' He said as they got up to the office and Ryan knocked on the door before going in.

Branch and Mia looked up and the blue troll was surprised to see Poppy.

''There they are.'' Ryan smiled.

''Hey Ryan, Branch just finished showing me around.'' Mia said happily.

Poppy was watching surprised, and Branch came over with a smile holding Poppy's hand.

''Hey beautiful.'' Branch replied kissing Poppy.

She kissed back and smiles. ''Hiya Branch.'' Poppy said and looked over at Mia.

''Ah yes Poppy, I'd like you to meet our new partner Mia Clark, Mia this is Poppy co-owner CEO and my fiancée.'' Branch introduced them.

Mia smiles brightly at Poppy. ''Oh, my I finally get to meet the famous Poppy!'' Mia squeals as she went over and hugged Poppy. ''Is it ok that I hug you?''

''Sure.'' Poppy said confused as Mia hugged her and looks at Branch who looked amused.

Poppy was wondering how this troll knew her.

Mia pulls away. She would be lying to say she didn't like Poppy but wondered why Branch picked Poppy.

''The way Branch talks about you I thought you were a famous star.'' Mia smiles.

Poppy chuckled nervously. ''Um sorry but I don't know you.'' She said looking at Branch who looked at her.

''Oh me and Branch knew each other after him and his grandma moved from their small town.'' Mia replied looking at Branch.

Mia wondered how this would go.

''Yeah, Mia was a caregiver for grandma while I was working and in college taking her to appointments and stuff.'' Branch replied giving Mia a small smile.

Mia nodded. ''Yep, it was the last thing Rosiepuff did was hire me and she was a sweet lady.''

Poppy listened and felt a bit jealous about it and had a feeling there maybe something more.

''Yeah, me and me were the only ones there when grandma took her last breath.'' Branch said sadly.

''The two who knew her best next to you of course Poppy.'' Mia said not wanting to make Poppy sad.

''That still doesn't explain how you know me.'' Poppy replied.

Ryan was in the corner enjoying this.

''Oh, Branch talked about you in the evenings when he got back. Poppy this and me and Poppy, all good things.'' Mia replied wanting to make Poppy jealous, but she felt guilty about it and she gave a soft smile.

''What else would I tell Mia?'' Asked Branch a bit uncomfortable.

''Anyway, come on Mia, I'll show you what you'll actually be doing.'' He said breaking the tense silence.

Mia followed Ryan. ''Nice to meet you Poppy and I can't wait to start working with you.''

''You too.'' Poppy replied.

Poppy wasn't sure how she felt about Mia, she wanted not to like her, but it was hard, and she did kind of like Mia a lot like herself.

It was just Branch and Poppy.

''What brings my beautiful Poppy here?'' He asked flirtingly.

''Nothing I thought I'd stay until you're ready to go home and help if you need it.'' Poppy said sitting on the desk looking at him.

''I'm always happy to have you here.'' He said standing up and leaning over kissing her deeply on the lips.

He placed his hands on her cheeks as they make out and he pulls away as Poppy blushes.

''Mia, seems nice.'' Poppy said.

''She's a smart troll and she had a passion to go far with her career. Honestly, I thought she was going to be a nurse.'' Branch said as he takes her hand bringing her over to his lap as she sits in it.

''Hm yet she came here.'' Poppy replied as her hands on his shoulders looking at him.

''Yeah, not sure why. I didn't think she was the banking type.'' He ran his hand over Poppy's body and resting on her stomach.

''Besides I go my perfect dream troll right here on me.'' He kisses her cheek and then her lips as they held each other.
