Branch and Mia spend time in the office and Branch gets some visitors.

The next day Branch was at the office and was so happy it was a Friday, he walked in to see the workers working and he went up to his office and set his bag down, he looked over to see Mia's door was opened and he decided to go say hi.

He knocked on the door as he saw Mia with her glasses on going over something on her computer.

She looked up. ''Oh, hey Branch.'' She greeted.

''Hey, what's up?'' He asked.

''Nothing, just going over these files and we seem to be missing some.'' She said.

Branch went over behind her and looked at the computer. ''How?'' He asked.

''I don't know. I was informed by one of the staff that was working on file shifting to make sure they were all there and we lost a few, is that supposed to happen?'' Asked Mia looking at him.

''No, that's not good. That means we need to pull up the paper files and look through those.'' He replied.

Mia raised an eyebrow and turned her chair to look up at him.

''So, we do still have them on file.'' She replied.

''Yeah, I know most banks have it on the computers now and stored, I was thinking of getting rid of them, but Poppy suggested keeping them in case something happened.'' Branch replied going to the door.

''Thank goodness one of you had the sense to keep them.'' Mia replied standing up.

Banch looked at her with a 'really look.'

''What? It's smart to keep a paper trail.'' Mia replied as her and Branch went into the elevator and went down to the basement.

Once down in the basement they walked through the walkway and into a caged room.

''This is where they keep the files?'' She asked.

''No, this is where they keep the dead bodies of all the trolls who ever got fired.'' Branch retorted.

Mia chuckles as they went into the room and went to a bunch of filing cabinets and Branch used the keys to unlock them.

''So, what now?'' Asked Mia.

''Well, did you happen to know which numbers were missing?'' Asked Branch.

She pulls a notepad out of her hair with and looks at it.

''Files number 5, we have 3 missing from there but that was all.'' Mia replied.

Branch's eyes widened. ''Thats the most files we have.''

Mia shrugs. ''Guess we should get started, what about getting the staff to look for them and whoever gets it gets a prize?'' Tried Mia not looking forward to the paperwork.

''That would be nice, but we are missing files from the computer, and I hate to say it, but it could be one of the workers out there and I don't want to take a chance we lost these files. All we have to do it look up the missing files and look through about 3 boxes worth of number 5's..'' Branch replied not looking forward to it.

''Alright well here is this cart, let put the boxes on here and start looking.'' She replied placing a box on the car as Branch placed one on there and they stopped at the last box.

''I got it.'' Branch said lifting it up as they left the room and went back up to the office.

Branch pushes it into his office.

''Alright let's work on this and we will take turns answering the phone.'' Mia replied.

Branch nodded and Mia sat down putting on her glasses as she went over the files.

It soon turned to evening and most of the workers had gone home, Branch had his tie off and a couple buttons unbuttoned looking over files and Mia yawned as they were still working in the office, they were halfway done with the work.

''I'll be back.'' Mia replied getting up and leaving.

Mia went to the bathroom and Branch was working when his phone went off and he hooked the phone to the computer as he turned it on to see Poppy's face.

''Hey Poppy.'' He smiled.

''Hi Branch, um is this a bad time?'' She asked.

''Never Poppy, what's up?'' He asked.

''Well, we did plan on facetiming tonight right?'' She asked looked concerned.

Branch looked to see it was 7:30pm. ''Dang! I'm sorry Poppy we have a big emergency here so me and Mia have been working on it all day.'' He apologized.

''What happened?'' She asked concerned as she was in the guest room and placed, her phone on the dresser while getting dressed.

''Well, we are missing files from the computer files, so we had to go through the paper files.'' He said watching her and trying not to feel excited to see her bare backside.

''Oh, do you need me to help?'' She asked.

Branch smirks and blushes. ''Yes, I do, turn around for me please.'' He asked.

She turned around revealing her sexy body. Branch gulps and eyes her and bit his lip as he saw her touch herself.

''Dang baby why must you torture me?'' He asked in a low voice.

She giggles and grabs her strapless tube dress that was red and sparkly, and Branch felt himself getting hard as it goes up her body and covers her.

''You asked.'' She replied with a smile.

''I wish I was there. You look stunning.'' He smiles licking his lips.

''Thanks, it's what I'm wearing tonight for the bachelorette party, and you have Hickory's already too right?'' She asked.

Branch froze. ''Oh yeah, I got stuff planned if I ever get out of here.''

Poppy giggles and the door opens as Branch looks up to see Mia with a bunch of Chinese takeout.

''Alright I brought food so we can get this done faster.'' Mia replied and looked at Poppy.

''Hey Poppy.''

''Hey Mia. What do you have there?'' She asked.

''Oh, Chinese for me and Branch so we can finish up here. It is ok he has Chinese food, right?'' Asked Mia.

''Yeah, that's fine it's his choice it's not like I make the decisions for him. Oh, I got to get going I'll call you later love you Branch.'' Poppy giggles and kisses the screen.

Branch kisses the screen as it went blank, and he looked at the food with a raised eyebrow.

''Here, digs in.'' She smiled.

Branch looked at her.

''Look, I'm sorry if I offended you last night I just asked if you wanted to get something to eat. It's late and I got more food then I can eat, and you'll get hangry if you don't eat.'' She replied.

Branch nodded knowing it was true he was hungry, and he grabbed a box and started eating looking though the papers.

''Thanks.'' He replied.

''You're welcome, Branch.'' Mia smiles as she continued eating and he took a cup and started drinking and stopped when he tasted it.

''Is this grape soda?'' He asked.

''Yep, it helps you work.'' She said with a smile as she drank her orange drink.

''Thanks.'' He smiles.

This wasn't what neither of them were thinking but they sat back working.

''Alright I found it.'' Mia replied.

''Great! Now I'll take them home and tomorrow we can work on looking at the cameras to see who had access to these files on the computer.'' Branch replied.

''Awesome!'' She smiles as they high fived.

They loaded the boxes on the cart and took it back downstairs.

''So, what are you doing this evening?'' Asked Mia.

''Going home, planning a Batchlor party for tomorrow and going to bed. What about you?'' He asked.

''I got a video call tonight so that and wine.'' She said as they placed the boxes away and went back up getting their stuff and leaving the building as they were walking down the steps, they stopped seeing a group coming over to them.

''BRANCH!''

He turned and was shocked to see Hickory, Gust, and Trollex coming over.

''Guys!'' He shouted going over as he was scooped in a big group hug.

''Hey, we're here to celebrate the party1'' Shouted Hickory.

''Right! Let's go back to my place.'' Branch replied as they walked to the car.

Trollex went over to Mia and hugs her. ''How are you?''

''I'm great I was going to video call you tonight.'' She replied.

''Say, after the party can I come over and we can hang out so you're not alone?'' He asked.

''Sure, I'd like that.'' She kisses his cheek and gets in her car watching the boys take off.
