The trolls go to a bar, Mia and Trollex have sort of a date, and Branch has a run in with Creek.

Later that evening Branch and Mia made their way to the bar.

''So, is this the bar where you usually hung out?'' Asked Mia.

''Sometimes, this is more Hickory's type of place, I was at home doing nothing.'' He said.

''So, co-workers are allowed to hangout after work?'' She asked looking hard at Branch.

''Yeah, they do.'' He said wearing his green vest and blue pants as Mia was wearing a crop top and tight black pants.

They walked in and saw Hickory sitting at the bar and went over.

''Hickory!'' Shouted Branch.

''There he is, and he brought the tag along.'' Hickory nodded smiling.

''It's Mia.'' Mia said smiling and looking around. ''Where is Trollex?''

''Oh, he went to the bathroom he'll be out.'' Hickory said.

''So, what are you drinking Branch?'' Asked Hickory.

''My usual.'' He said with a wink.

''You Mia?'' Asked Hickory.

''You're asking me?'' She was surprised.

''Yeah, it's wrong not to buy a lady a drink.'' Hickory said.

''A cocktail.'' She said.

Hickory paid for it. ''Round of pool?'' He asked.

''Heck ya!'' Branch said happily.

''Bring over the drinks I'll go save the table.'' Hickory grins as he places his hat on Branch's head walking away.

''Hickory has that bad boy look to him.'' Mia noted.

''Yeah, he's a ladies' man but he's been with Delta for 5 years now.'' Branch said sitting at the bar.

Mia sat next to him. ''Funny he doesn't seem like the married type.'' Mia poked.

''No, he doesn't but then again that the thing about Hickory, he can surprise you, me and Poppy owe him and Delta a lot. If not for them me and Poppy would still be in a love affair.'' Branch said looking at Mia.

He pulled out his phone. 'Mia, is here.' He texted Trollex.

Suddenly Trollex came out and went over. ''Hey Mia.''

''Trollex, I thought you were about you to stand me up?'' She said grinning.

''Nope. I was trying to look presentable for you.'' He said.

''Aww.'' Mia giggles.

''I'll leave you two.'' Branch grinned as he grabbed the drinks and went over to Hickory.

Trollex and Mia sat at a table drinking.

''Are you hungry at all?'' Asked Trollex.

''Yeah, I could eat.'' She smiles at him.

He ordered them fries and looks at her with a smile.

''So, you decided to be Branch's and Poppy's new partner. I told you those classes would come in handy.'' Trollex smiled.

''Yeah, I wanted a change a job. Home Health Aid wasn't cutting it so I figured why not try banking.'' Mia said sipping her drink.

''And is there any reason you choose the one that Branch works at?'' He asked.

''It popped up and I wasn't the only one who applied for it there was about 10 others, but he picked me.'' She looked at him.

''So, how's Martin doing?'' Asked Trollex.

''I don't know, last I heard he was living in London probably with a new girlfriend.'' She sighed.

Trollex looked down. ''Oh, Mia I'm sorry what happened? You guys were so close.''

''Well, see me and Branch had a fling, and for a while we were just friends with benefits, and 5 months after we got together Martin came home from overseas and Branch left. But about 7 months after me and Branch were over, I left my phone lying around and I got a text message from my mom and he opened it and it was at the message inbox, and he saw the last text Branch sent and realized I cheated on him. He packed his bag and left.'' She gulped.

Trollex felt bad for her. What she did was wrong, but months had passed. ''It was months surely, he let it go?'' Trollex tried.

''No, he left me and last I knew he was in London. So, I finished college for banking some months later while still having fun with guys and now I live in Troll York City. So, what about you?'' She asked leaning forward.

''I've been here working for about 5 years in the same spot, sure I've been out on a couple of dates but nothing serious, you were the most serious one I had.'' He said.

''You were very fun. So, any cute girls?'' She smirks.

''Nope. Still single.'' He said.

''Hm well, here is my phone number we can keep in contact.'' Mia said as she wrote it on a napkin.

Trollex took it as their hands touched and he placed a kiss on it as she giggles.

Branch and Hickory were playing pool.

''So, how does Poppy feel about you spending time with Mia?'' Asked Hickory.

''I mean she wasn't excited about it, but she trusts me, and nothing has happened, but Mia is trying hard to make Poppy jealous.'' Branch said.

''You and Poppy haven't been fighting about Mia and what you guys were?'' Asked the country troll who shot a ball.

''Well, Poppy knows me, and Mia dated for a bit.'' Branc said taking his turn.

Hickory was taking a drink and raised an eyebrow. ''Wait you mean to tell me you never told Poppy about what you and Mia were for a good year before you tried dating?''

Branch stayed quiet as he took his turn. Kind of wishing he never told Hickory about his fling with Mia when they had just started being friends.

''You know she is going to find out and it should be from you rather then Mia.'' Hickory said knowingly.

''Being friends with benefits was mean and I was only using her for sex... I had sex with her but while being with her all I could see is Poppy. It was just something that was temporary.'' Branch said.

''Hm, I think she's here to win you back.'' Hickory guessed.

''Not going to happen.'' Branch said.

''Why else did she get the job at the same place you worked at? Your name comes up when you look up our type of bank so clearly, she knew you were there.'' Hickory stated.

''Why now? It won't work I'm with Poppy and it's going to stay that way.'' Branch took his shot.

''Well, well look who came back.'' A voice taunted.

Branch's blood ran cold, and he turned around holding back his anger. ''Oh, I didn't know they allowed rich lowlife in here.'' Branch shot back.

Creek was leaning against the table with a beer in hand. ''Got to go somewhere, you know I cheated on Poppy, but I never took a girl out to a public place in the city showing her off. Thats a gutsy move.'' Creek grins.

''Hey back off! Not that it matters to you, but Poppy is completely aware of the situation.'' Branch snapped.

''Oh? Then why did you come in with a hot red head and buy her a drink?'' Asked Creek smirking.

Branch looked to see Mia and Trollex talking and laughing.

''It's none of your business, Creek, buzz off besides she with Trollex not me.'' Branch growls.

'' A likely cover up, So, you're just a guy who likes married trolls and then when you have them, you play with them for a bit, then move onto the next girl? Poor Poppy she a sweet girl, yet everyone finds someone better then her, but I would take her back in a heartbeat.'' Creek said with a wink.

Branch balled his hands into a fist and moved towards Creek as Hickory pulled Branch back.

''Leave Creek now.'' Hickory said in a low threatening voice.

''I'm just stating what I saw and clearly, I'm on the right track if your upset by this.'' Creek shrugged.

Branch took a deep breath. ''Poppy knows and trusts me as I trust her and I would never cheat on her, I'm not you Creek who shoves his cock into every girl who looks at him. I should be thanking you because you weren't around, and Poppy came running into my arms.'' Branch smirked leaning on the pool table.

''Sure, she did. Oh, have you seen her lately? Because she looks thin and has bags under her eyes and looks so sad if she was alone, I would have gone to talk to her.'' Creek smirked enjoying watching Branch's face heat up getting back at him for that last comment.

Branch saw red and tackled Creek to the ground punching him as they roll around. ''You SON OF A TROLL!'' Branch screamed attacking Creek punching him in the face as Hickory and Mia who came running over same as Trollex and Mia held Branch back.

''How dare you! You go near Poppy again you'll regret ever laying eyes on her!'' Branch shouted threating.

''Just saying Mate it's not like she has a restraining order and besides it was nice to see her again.'' Creek gloated shaking his head as he walked to the other end of the room.

Branch frowned, Poppy was right she did see Creek and he gulped and got up. Mia was a bit scared she had never seen Branch this angry before and she had to admit it was kind of hot, but she looked over at Trollex.

''I have to go now.'' Branch freaked out.

''Its late and it's a couple hour drive back to the city and airport. Go to the hotel and leave in the morning.'' Hickory said pulling out his phone. ''I'll message Delta.'' Hickory said.

Branch gulped and saw Mia and Trollex talking, and Hickory send the text and him and Branch went back to playing pool.

Branch couldn't wait to get back and hoped Poppy would be ok.

''Don't worry Delta would never let anything happen to Poppy, plus you know Creek is here.'' Hickory said.

He was there in Troll York City, and he saw Poppy. I thought maybe it was the drinking but damn why did I doubt her.'' He sighed as he took a shot.
