Branch reunites with Hickory and Trollex and Mia runs into an old flame of hers back in the day.

Once the car was filled and they got in Branch started driving putting his foot to the pedal as Mia held on.

''Branch what's wrong?'' Asked Mia.

Branch tossed his phone in her lap. ''Unlock it and click on the find me app.'' He demanded.

She unlocked it and saw Poppy and Branch kissing and she touched the app. ''Ok?'' She was curious.

''Type in Creek Peacemaker.'' He said.

Mia did and it pulled up a map and a red blinking dot was showing with the name Creek.

''Where is he at?'' Asked Branch.

''It says he's at a hotel and spa place.'' She said.

''Good.'' Branch breathed.

''Ok, so where did you get this app and why are you tracking Creek?'' Asked Mia.

''I got a call from Poppy and she and Delta thought they saw Creek at the bar last night.'' He said driving.

Mia raised an eyebrow. ''Why would he be over there? I mean they got a divorce and he moved onto another girl?'' She asked.

''Yes, but doesn't mean he's not upset about me, and Poppy. He abused her when they are together, and I bet he wouldn't miss a chance to mess with her.'' Branch said as they drove.

''Ok, but where did you get this app?'' She asked.

''I found it and thanks to the help of my buddy I managed to plant a chip into Creek's memory card.'' Branch grinned.

''You are an overcautious troll and I like the way you think. But I think Poppy might have had too much to drink.'' Mia replies looking at Branch.

Branch frowns at that but Mia could be right. ''Maybe but this is Creek, he went behind her back to sleep with another woman I wouldn't put this past him.''

He couldn't believe it. No Poppy wouldn't make something up that big weather she was drunk or not and Delta was there as well.

Mia was quiet as they drove and 4 hours later, they arrived and went to the hotel got two rooms and once up their Branch looked at Mia. ''Night.''

''Wait you're going to bed?'' She asked.

''Yes, it's been a long day and I want to be ready for tomorrow.'' Branch said.

''It's only 10pm.'' She looked up and grins.

''Yep, good night.'' He went into his room and was about to shut the door when Mia goes over and hugs him tightly. Branch didn't react and Mia whispered in his ear.

''It will be ok Branch; Delta is there with Poppy.'' She said not believing how concerned she was about Poppy. Maybe it was because she cared about Branch and hated seeing him sad and worried.

''I know.'' He pulls away and goes to his room.

He laid on the bed and the second his head touched the pillow he was out. Mia was watching tv cuddle with the pillow and fell asleep.

''Beep, beep.'' Branch's alarm went off and he woke up to see he was still in his work clothes as he took them off and took a shower, he cleaned himself, but he really wished Poppy was with him.

He closed his eyes and pulled on his dick pretending it was Poppy grabbing him. How he missed that smell of Poppy and her touch, but he was worried about Creek not sure if he should be worried or not. Mia was right Poppy did have a lot to drink and he knew drinks played tricks on the mind.

He continued thinking of Poppy and couldn't wait to get home. ''Oh Poppy, babe I need you now.'' He moans as he came all over and got himself cleaned up.

Later after he got dressed, he saw a text from Mia. 'I'm in the breakfast lobby.'

Branch went down there and saw Mia on her phone. ''Morning Mia.''

''Morning Branch, so I got a question.'' She said.

''I might have the answer.'' He said getting some food on his plate and sitting across from her.

''Did you know that 90% of single guys hit and end up dating married trolls?'' She asked.

''I didn't and why are you telling me this?'' He asked drinking his coffee.

''I want to ask why is it that single guys hit on married woman?'' She asked.

''Because the best type of girl to get is one that is off the market, a single girl will fuck you no matter what, but a married woman can't and usually they won't, or they will reject them and that is why guys do that.'' He said opening the paper reading.

''Is that why you went with Poppy?'' Mia said half joking and half serious.

Branch frowns. ''No, we started the affair because we still had feelings for each other. We knew each other since middle school, it wasn't like we just met and became lovers.'' He said.

''So, its ok if it's a childhood friend?'' Asked Mia frowning.

''No, it never is ok, but it happens.'' Branch said as he looked around and saw a troll that looked familiar.

His eyes widened as he saw a purple troll that looked like Creek! He stood up looking.

''What is it Branch?'' Asked Mia.

''I think that's Creek.'' He said.

Mia looked up but saw nobody. ''Um where?''

Branch turned and didn't see him. ''I swear he was right there.''

''You're overthinking. Come on let's go.'' Mia said as she grabbed her bag and they left.

They arrived at the bank and once there they got out and Branch looked over and could have sworn, he saw Creek walking with a lady he closed the car door locking it and looked up only to see noone.

His mind was playing tricks on him as they went in.

At the bank the trolls were busy taking phone calls meanwhile A techno troll was sitting at his desk waiting for a call and threw a stress ball at a handsome country troll who caught it.

''Too slow Trollex.'' Hickory said in his deep voice.

''Not that slow if you didn't have eyes in the back of your head.'' Trollex shouted back.

''Called being aware of your surroundings.'' Hickory called as something hit him in the back of the head.

''What the?'' He turned to chew the troll out but stopped when he saw who it was.

''Are you sure because you didn't see that one coming'' Branch grinned leaning against the cubical.

Trollex and Hickory stood up and cheered as they ran over and lifted Branch in a hug.

''Branch! It's been too long!'' Shouted Trollex.

''I know well good to see you too Trollex.'' Branch called.

''So, how's my best troll doing?'' Hickory asked grinning.

''Great, and I got news for you I want both of you at my wedding.'' Branch said excitedly.

Hickory and Trollex looked surprised, and Hickory lifted Branch in a hug. ''WOOHOO OUR BRANCH AND POPPY ARE GETTING MARRIED!'' Hickory screamed.

Brach giggles. ''Yep, we are!''

Trollex backed up and looked at the female troll. ''Mia?''

She looked at him and blushed. ''Trollex.''

Branch and Hickory looked at them.

''Wait you two know each other?'' Asked Branch.

''Yes, we met at the same college, he actually convinced me to take classes for this area, so I got my CNA license and took college classes for this bank branch.'' She shrugged.

''Names Hickory.'' Hickory said going over to Mia.

''Mia Clark.'' Mia said as they shook hands. ''I'm Branch and Poppy's new partner.''

''Pleasure.'' Hickory said.

Suddenly Sky came over and looked at them. ''Well, well Branch Timber! How have you been?''

Branch turned and smiled as him and Sky shook hands. ''Great! Nice to see you Sky.'' Branch said.

''Feels weird giving I was your boss and now your mine.'' Sky said.

He turned and looked at Mia. ''Ahh so this is the lovely Poppy I finally get to meet.'' He shook her hand.

The guys gave Sky a shocked looked. ''No, this is Mia, she is replacing Ryan, so she is mine and Poppy's new business.'' Branch corrected.

''Oh, well I thought she would be with you.'' Sky said feeling embarrassed.

''No, she back in the city taking running the branch.'' Branch said feeling sad and missing Poppy.

''I'm Mia Clark.'' Mia replied professionally but felt happy that she was called Poppy.

''Sky Toronto.'' He shook her hand..

''And you guys are here to make sure things are running, well follow me this way. And you two get back to work.'' Sky said looking at Hickory and Trollex.

''Say Branch drinks on me tonight.'' Hickory said.

Branch nodded as they left.

''Nice to see you Trollex.'' Mia said.

''You too.'' He called.

Hickory looked at Trollex and threw the ball back. ''You used to date her?''

''I wouldn't say that. We were friends and had a fling, she moved on to a guy named Martin and that is that.'' Trollex said.

Hickory was shocked and chuckles. ''This day keeps getting better. You do know that before Branch came here that girl Mia was his fling as well.''

Trollex grins and sat back. ''Well at least she was with me first so Branch got my sloppy seconds.''

Branch and Mia were walking to the office and Branch looked around and stopped as he saw Creek talking to someone at the desk.

''Sky who's that troll over at the front desk?'' Asked Branch.

Mia walked in the room and Sky turned to look. ''Who?"

Branch turned back and there was no one there. He wondered if he was paranoid and went in as him and Mia went over the Bank Branch's report, and they left to check out the building and Trollex was at his desk.

''Hey.'' Mia said.

Trollex looked up. ''Hey, so you finally decided to take up working a bank.'' He smiled.

''Yeah, you could say that.'' She smiles.

''You and Branch leaving after this?'' Asked Trollex.

''No, Branch is going for drinks with Hickory.'' She sighed sitting down next to Trollex.

''Well, what if we went out for drinks and catch up.'' Trollex suggested.

''Sounds good, pick me up at 7?'' She asked.

''Got it.'' He stood up and hugged her as she made her rounds.
