Branch and Mia go to bank to check on things, Delta explains to Hickory about seeing Creek and what they should do to keep Poppy safe.

''No, I said no leave me alone.'' Mia growled as she was trying to get past the drunk troll.

''Come on beautiful one night, you've been making eyes at me all night.'' He said pulling her close.

Suddenly someone was in front of her and turned out it was Branch, and he held his arm out wrapping it around her waist as he punched the troll out.

''Stay back she is mine.'' Branch growled.

He pulled Mia with him outside and she stopped him. ''Branch you saved my life.''

''Of course, I still love you Mia more then you know.'' Branch said as he cupped her face, and they lean in.

Dream over...

Suddenly Mia woke up with jolt as she started coughing sitting up and she looked to see her face was wet and there stood Branch with a grin on his face.

''About time you wake up. I almost used the megaphone.'' Branch replied.

Mia looked to see him all dressed and ready. ''What time is it?''

''7:30am so get ready we are leaving at 8 and grab your bags we are checking out.'' Branch said as he left the room.

Mia laid there thinking of the dream and placed her arm over her face. ''Why?''

She had a bit of a hangover, but she couldn't believe she had dreamed of Branch. She came to get away from all the past and what happened to her and now she was dreaming of Branch, she knew it was wrong, but she loved that he saved her, nobody had done that in a long time.

Branch went down the stairs and got some coffee as he looked at the newspaper, he couldn't wait to finish up here so he could see his old pals he worked with and to see his girl who he missed.

Finally, Mia came down dressed in a button up blouse and black pants and her bag. ''I'm ready.''

Branch nodded and handed her a coffee as they left. ''You, ok?'' Asked Branch.

''Yeah, nervous about this.'' She said.

''Nothing to worry about as Poppy told you just go in there and pretend you know what you're doing. It's easy we go and meet with the head managers of the bank and go over the reports, then we go and check out the workers and make sure it is standard and the building is in good shape.'' Branch replied as he pulled to the bank.

''Got it.'' Mia said as they got out and went inside.

They saw workers working and some in cubicles answering phones and it took Branch back.

''Ahh Mr. Timber, and your partner.'' Art a yellow well-dressed troll came over shaking Branch's hand.

''Yes, this is Ms. Mia Clark she's taking over for Ryan.'' Branch introduced her.

''Pleasure Ms. Clark.'' Art shook her hand.

''Thank you and it's Ms. Mia.'' She answered shaking back.

''Now follow me this way.'' Art said as they did and went into his office.

''We've been keeping it very steady here and the numbers are going up every day.'' Art said showing the reports.

Branch and Mia looked over them.

''Do you need me to explain?'' Branch asked looking at Mia.

''No, I'm perfectly fine with handling it myself.'' Mia snapped.

Branch looked at her and nodded as they went over the reports and other stuff.

Meanwhile that morning Poppy woke up with a headache and groaned sighing as she lays back on Branch's pillow and groans.

''His smell is gone.'' She groaned.

Delta was in the living room talking to Hickory.

''I swear it was Creek, looked just like him. Is he there?'' Asked Delta.

''I don't know darling; he should still here give all the trials he's going through. Are you sure it's him? You girls would have just seen things.'' Hickory tried.

''Maybe but Poppy was so sure. I was thinking of bringing her back and we can stay at our apartment just until Branch gets back.'' Delta suggested.

''I don't mind heck I would love to see Poppy and Branch again actually he's going to be here tomorrow; this is his last stop before going back. But if Creek is here, wouldn't it be better for her to stay there?'' Asked Hickory.

''I don't know hon. I'm worried, we'd be safer where we know he can't go.'' Delta said.

''Want me to call Branch and tell him?'' 'Hickory offered.

''I'd rather not, it would be nothing.'' Delta said.

''Stay there for now, it's safer there.'' Hickory said.

''I would but she's getting lonely and sad, it would be she hates being away from Branch. Not to mention the girl he is with isn't helping.'' Delta sighed.

''A new girl?''

''His and Poppy's new partner Mia Clark, her and Branch use to be a thing.'' Delta said.

Hickory froze at the name. He recalled Branch mentioning Mia a couple of times before he met back up with Poppy.

''Oh, well I'll be sure to be a look out Delta but stay there.'' Hickory said.

''Ok, love I can't wait to see you.'' She sighed.

''Same the bed has been cold, and I hate waking up without my sexy, naked, fiery darling.'' He growls as he leans back.

''You sly troll.'' Delta blushes.

''Well got to go see ya later Delta.'' He smiles as he hung up.

''Later my love.'' Delta hung up and looked to see Poppy coming out.

''Hey sunshine.'' She greeted.

''Hey Delta.'' Poppy smiles as she sits on the couch and looks at her.

''Feeling better?'' Asked Delta.

''Yeah, actually. I was thinking of writing out invites, but I don't know where we are having the wedding at.'' Poppy shrugged.

''Hm well I thought today we can go over mine and Hickory's wedding plans and see if you have any ideas that could help.'' Delta said.

''Sounds great bring the stuff over.'' Poppy squealed.

Branch and Mia were watching the workers all day and checking the building making notes. Later after all that it was closing time Branch and Mia made it to the car and once in Branch looked at her.

''Can I ask why you snapped at me earlier?'' He looked at her.

''I didn't like that you questioned if I needed help. I can handle it just fine. Ryan has been teaching me.'' She said.

''Still, everyone needs help.'' Branch said.

''So where to now?'' She asked.

''We are going to grab a bite to eat and drive to Troll Stone get a hotel and then go meet with the bank tomorrow then we will be on our way home.'' Branch said.

''Oh, sounds like fun.'' Mia said as she sat back.

Branch took off. ''So, I'll fill up with gas before we go.''

Once at the gas station Branch called Poppy excited to talk to his lovely girl.

Poppy was on the couch watching a movie while Delta had run to the store and her phone went off.

''Branch!'' She squealed looking at his face.

''Hey beautiful Poppy.'' He smiles feeling his heart skip a beat.

''I miss you so much.'' She smiled.

''I missed you too Poppy, everyday but I'm going to our old city and then I'll be on my way home.'' He smiled at her through the screen and tried not to cry.

''Are you ok Branch?'' She asked looking at him.

''Yeah, I'm it's just I miss you so much I can't wait to see you and hold you.'' He confessed.

''Same, but I'm fine and so is Delta... Branch there is something I should tell you.''

''What is that?''

''Me and Delta went out for drinks last night and I think Creek is here.'' She said quietly.

Branch felt his heartbeat as his face turned red. ''Please tell me you're joking.''

''Well, I was drunk last night, and I thought I saw Creek, Delta thought she saw him to, but she was more sober then me and when she went up to confront him it was someone else. But I swear I saw him... Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me, it's stupid I know.'' She sighed.

''No, he won't touch you! Do you need me to come back?'' He asked ready to go back.

''No, stay there and finish up with Troll Stone I'll be fine.'' She smiled.

''Are you sure?'' Branch asked gulping.

''Yes.'' She smiled.

He kisses the screen. ''I can't wait to kiss you when I get back.'' He sighed.

''Same.'' She smiled as she heard something. ''What's that?''

''Filling up with gas before we make it to Trolls Stone.'' He replied.

''Well, alright tell Hickory hi for me.'' She said.

''I will my love. Goodbye I love you.'' He said.

''I love you too.'' She smiled.
