Branch calls Poppy and Mia walks into the room unexpectedly.

Branch was sleeping when he felt a nudge and opened his eyes as he rubbed them.

''Branch we are here.'' Mia said sitting up.

The blue male troll was awake, and they got up leaving the plane as they headed for the terminal. It was late afternoon.

''So, this Boston.'' Mia said looking around.

''Yeah, it is.'' Branch said as they waited for their bags and grabbed them.

Once they got the bags, they went out to see a car with a guy who nodded to them.

''Here you are Mr. Timber.'' The guy said and left.

Mia looked at the car. ''A rental?''

''Yeah, it beats a cab, besides they know me and Ryan so getting one isn't that hard.

The troll said as he put his bags in and took Mia's putting them in as well.

She was impressed by this as they got in and Branch took off.

''So, where are we staying?'' Asked Mia looking at him and she sat in the passenger seat.

''The Sunrise Hotel, its where we usually stay when going for a visit.'' Branch replied as he drove out of the airport parking lot and onto the road as he drove to the hotel.

They were quiet as Mia turned on the radio and cheesy pop songs came on and Branch raised an eyebrow looking at the female who was singing her heart out. He turned it off and she looked at him in shock.

''Not a fan of pop?'' She asked glaring.

''Nope, but you know that.'' Branch replied.

Mia turns it on. ''I like it, so we are listening to it.''

Branch turned it off. ''I'm the driver.''

''Ok, get out and let me drive.'' Mia tried as playfully grins at Branch.

''No.'' Branch said.

Mia turned it back on, and Branch let it play as he pulled to the hotel parking lot. They got out and grabbed Branch grabbed their bags.

''Thank you Branch that is so sweet.'' She smiles and hugs his arm.

Branch rolls his eyes and pushes her away lightly.

So, how does paying for it work?'' She asked changing the subject as they went in

''Well, the company pays for it. So basically, we do but we have a credit card that we use when traveling for traveling and expenses.'' Branch explained.

''I'm not complaining but since your corporate why don't you drive around in a limo?'' Mia asked surprised that Branch or Ryan never said anything.

''You can, me personally I like living like everyone else so me and Poppy usually travel around like this.'' Branch said as they went up to the desk and were greeted by a young adult troll.

''Hey Branch!'' He said.

''Hey Keith.'' Branch said smiling at the younger troll.

''Need a room I take it?'' He asked looking at Mia.

''Two rooms next to each other.'' Branch said and looked over at Mia as she giggles.

''So, who's the new lady? You and Poppy break up?'' Asked Keith who was curious.

Branch's eyes widen and shakes his head. ''No, she back home. This is my new business partner, and this is a learning trip.''

''Ahh man, but alright rooms 304 and 305 are open if you like and do you happen to have Poppy's number?'' Keith said and asked.

''Sorry but she is taken and I'm not giving her up. But you can take Mia.'' Branch replied shaking his head.

''Nah, I'm more into the pink trolls.'' He gave them the room keys.

''Noted she is still off limits. Catch you later Keith'' Branch said as he got his stuff and saw Mia take the keys.

Mia smiles at him. ''Pleasure to meet you, Keith. I'm Mia.''

''Woah a beautiful name.'' He winks at her as she followed Branch.

They were in the elevator.

''So, you know Keith.'' Mia said.

''Yeah, he's been working here since I started staying here.'' Branch said.

''He seemed upset that.'' She pointed out.

''Yeah, he has a crush on Poppy.'' Branch chuckled.

''Oh, seems serious.'' Mia joked.

Mia was very jealous of Poppy, not only was the pink troll with her ex-boyfriend but the young desk troll had the hots for Poppy as well.

''He's 17 and likes to flirt with older girls.'' Branch said as the elevator went up to the third floor.

''Kid has class, boy this take us back, doesn't it?'' She asked as she moves closer, and she ran her hand up his arm and to his hand that he had in a fist and shrugs it off.

''Stop it Mia! We are here as work partners and whatever happened between us in the past is in the past and I want to keep it there, so stop touching me in that way.'' Branch snapped.

''I'm just having some fun Branch; you use to be fun but never took a joke.'' She replied backing up.

They got out and took out the keycard as they went into their rooms. Branch placed his suitcase to the side and hung up the clothes he was going to wear the next day and looked around sighing as he looked at his phone and saw his screensaver of him and Poppy sharing a kiss and he smiles as he takes off his shirt and calls Poppy.

Poppy was sitting on a bench in a wedding dress shop waiting for Delta to come out and show off the dress. Her phone went off and she saw it was Branch and she answered it to see Branch's face.

''Branch!'' She squealed.

He smiled at her. ''Hey beautiful.'' He answered.

''How was the flight?'' She asked.

''It was good, slept most of the way.'' He said staring at the screen.

''Are you shirtless?'' Poppy asked teasingly wanting to see his top.

''Yes, I took it off before I called you beautiful, I know how much you miss it.'' He replied flirtingly.

''I do can I see all of your torso?'' She asked sighing wishing she was there so she could kiss him all over his body.

He moved the camera down so she could see his body. ''Just for you love.''

She smiles and kisses the screen. ''So, how is Mia doing? Learning anything?'' She was trying to stay quiet.

''Not yet. Not until tomorrow, but she asks a lot of questions, so we'll see how it goes.'' Branch shrugged. ''Oh and Keith says hi.'' Branch giggles laying back on the bed.

''He's a sweet troll, still pining over me huh?'' She giggled.

Before Branch could say anything, a side door opened and in came Mia with a towel around her body as she sighed and paused.

Branch raised an eyebrow.

''What's going on?'' Asked Poppy who was curious.

Branch turned the phone and Poppy saw Mia who turned red and looks around but wanted to use this to her advantage. ''This isn't my room.''

Branch looks at her. ''How the hell did you get in here?''

Poppy felt her blood boil and she tried not to jump to conclusions. Branch would never do something like that.

''I don't know I was in the next room taking a shower and opened the door.'' She said looking at it.

Branch stood up and was holding the phone so Poppy could see as well. He went over and gave the phone to Mia. ''I'm giving you to Mia while I check this out.'' Branch said.

Mia held the phone so Poppy could see as Branch went over and saw it was a makeshift door in the closet leading the other bathroom in the next room.

''How are you doing Poppy?'' Asked Mia looking at the phone.

''I'm good, wedding dress shopping with a friend.'' Poppy said.

Mia sat on the bed. ''Sounds like fun me and Branch are hitting it off so well.'' She giggles.

Poppy smiles but gulps feeling worried. ''I bet, he's easy to get along with.'' Poppy replied not letting it show how much it worried her.

Say any advice on how to act tomorrow when we go into the banks?'' Asked Mia.

''Well, just smile and watch Branch, the key is to pretend you know what you're doing otherwise they might not take you seriously.'' Poppy said.

''Thanks, and watching Branch is so easy, he's easy on the eyes.'' Mia smiled at Poppy smiled back and felt jealous.

Branch grins happy to see them getting along.

''Well, looks like someone has been sneaking in huh?'' Branch said turning around and came over taking his phone.

''I guess, that's creepy but anyway get ready Branch we are going to go grab drinks and party a bit.'' Mia said standing up and brushing past Branch still in her towel walking to the makeshift door and shutting it giggling.

''You do know we have to work tomorrow, right?'' Branch said annoyed.

''Poppy, you don't mind Branch going out just for drinks, do you?'' Asked Mia as got back to the bathroom.

Poppy felt a bit sad and left out and Branch noticed. ''I'm gonna stay in Mia.''

''No, Branch you should go enjoy yourself we do it all the time.'' She said sighing.

Branch looked at the phone. ''I'm not going Poppy. You're not comfortable with it so I'm not going. I'll order room service and watch tv.'' He laid back on his bed.

''I never said I wasn't. You should go and enjoy yourself.'' She answered not liking the way he assumed that about her.

''Poppy, I love you, but I don't feel like going out. Besides Mia trying to flirt with me and I'm not dealing with it.'' He said.

''Just ignore her, and I trust you Branch don't think I don't but its her.'' Poppy said.

''I know baby which is why I'm staying in.''

''We always go out together.'' Poppy pointed out.

''Yes, but I'm here and you're not here, normally by myself I stay in because I have papers to go over and I get tired easy.'' He said.

''Still have a couple of drinks and come back, besides me and Delta are looking for wedding dresses then going for drinks later.'' Poppy said.

Branch sighed. ''Alright hon.''

She kissed the screen. ''I'll call you tonight.''

''Ok, love you baby.'' He said feeling tears in his eyes.

She hung up as he sighed laying back on the bed. Poppy was the only girl that made Branch feel this way. He hated letting her go and he stood up as he put on his blue vest and heard a knock at the door.

He opened it and saw Mia who was dressed in an off the shoulder sweater and back pants. ''Looks like you decided to come after all.''

''Yeah, one drink. I don't want to be drunk.'' Branch said as he grabbed the room key and left.
