"The girls are having a spa day, so I thought we might have a party of our own." Stark gestured around the upscale restaurant he bought while waiting in gridlock traffic.

Orange light bled through the panoramic windows, the rays of the setting sun gilding the cluster of tables arranged for them in the center of the room.

Loki smiled down at the text thread on his phone. Stark's wife had taken the women across country on the Stark private jet to a spa in the Arizona desert.

Little Vixen: 'Loki...I'm completely naked and covered in mud. Wish you were here to rinse me off.'😘

Boss Loki: 'You know how to tease me, darling. I have a bottle of honey waiting for when you get back.'😉

Little Vixen: ....🤩🥰🥳

Loki scrolled through the emoji options before selecting one. Satisfied, he slid the phone into the pocket of his blazer and strolled over to the bar to order a drink. The bartender poured a stream of champagne into a fluted glass.

"Already breaking out the champagne, Sideshow? Don't you think it's a bit much?" Stark remarked, accepting a shot of whiskey from the bartender.

"It's the only mortal spirits worth drinking." Loki remarked primly, wrinkling his nose.

"And I thought I was a snob." Stark sighed, propping his elbows up on the bar. "I have no idea what Cassandra sees in you."

Used to such remarks from the billionaire, Loki ignored him, checking his phone again to see if Cassandra responded.

"Damn. I never thought I'd get the mud washed off." Cassandra muttered. The stuff seeped into every crack and crevice. Wrapping herself in a thick fluffy towel, she reached in the little wire tray where she left her phone. She was eager to read Loki's reply after having her phone swiped by the mud bath attendant mid-conversation, so she didn't drop it in the tub.

Brows furrowing, she stared down at the screen.

Pepper appeared at her shoulder, hugging a towel to her slender form. "Is something wrong?"

"Why did Loki send me a string of poop emojis?"

Overhearing the conversation, Jane waddled over, hugging her swollen belly. "I think I know. The other day Thor was teaching him how to send emojis."

"Let me guess, Thor was messing with Loki." Cassandra said dryly, typing out a response to Loki.

"Its likely." Jane agreed.
