[Maybe I'm the one

Maybe I'm the one who is the schizophrenic psycho]

I looked at Ray from the corner of my eye.

He sat a few seats away in the bus, reading something that I couldn't quite make out.

After a bit, he started to giggle, holding his mouth, trying to contain it.

He was strange.

Always acting weird.

But it's been hard to tell...

If he's psycho, or I am.

[She lays down on the fresh lawn

She can make everything magical

But she tied one on big time

And it makes me wanna rewind]

"Whew! I'm tired!" I heard my neighbor (Y/N) say, as she plopped herself down on the grass, making a non-existent snow angel.

I smirked, finding it funny.

She really was special, and I found it relaxing that I could watch her do her normal things in her yard from my window.

I leaned forwards onto the window sill, resting my head in my hands, not being able to resist a grin.

[To back in the days when we were young

When everything was like a loaded gun

Ready to go off at any minute

And you know we're gonna win again]

I remember when I first met her.

She had smacked me over the head because I had been keen to follow her.

After that,  we had, had a long series of competitions.

A wiry young hot-headed girl, full of hope and inspiration.

I find it just intoxicating and healthy to be near her,,,,

Maybe I'm the one who is the paranoid Flake-oh]

I sighed looking across my lawn and over the side of my neighbors fence.

Ray stood at the other end, snipping roses.

I can't help but watch him.

This feels strange, maybe I'm psycho or something.

[She lays down on the sidewalk

Never very analytical

She is something simply beautiful

Re-appear when you feel magical]

"Hey! You kids get back here!" I yelled, picking up the fallen cups from my lemonade stand.

"Oh, having trouble?" I looked up to see Ray staring down at me, glacing at all the spilled lemonade.

"Yeah, can you help me?" I asked, bringing out a cloth to wipe it up with.

Ray stood beside me, taking the cloth from my hand.

Our fingers touched for a moment, making a blush rise to my cheeks.

Ray noticed it, a weirdly large grin creeping onto his face.

I ignored it and started to pick up the cups again.

[To back in the days when we were young

When everything was like a loaded gun

Ready to go off at any minute

Yeah you know we're gonna win again]

After the lemonade mess, I went inside my house with Ray, cleaning off the sticky juice from our hands.

Ray started washing his hands, watching me sit on the stood.

"(Y/N). I haven't been entirely truthful to you." He said, wiping his hands off on a towel.

Ray sat next to me, leaning close to me, his purple eyes sad.

"Yeah? What is it? You know you can tell me. We're friends after all."

Ray smiled slyly for a moment.

"I'm a Barian." He whispered.

"A what?"

"A Barian."

"I heard that. What's a Barian."

[You're the one, you're the one who is the schizophrenic psycho]

"Huh? No way!" I stared at him.

He had grey hair, wings and strange clothes.

"I knew you wouldn't believe me." He said, sadly, hanging his head.

"No, no..... I believe you." 

Well, sorta.

Ray, no, Vector hugged me close suddenly, a strange high pitched chuckle audible.

"Vector? Are you alright?"

"Quite fine my dear!" He said, in that high pitched tone.

"You don't seem like it."

"What's going on with you?"

[Back in the days when we were young

When everything was like a loaded gun

Ready to go off at any minute

And you know we're gonna win again]

"Never you mind." and with that, Vector crushed his lips to mine, wrapping his arms round my waist, bringing me closer.

I was surprised, but actually didn't mind as he continued.

"You're the one who's psycho."

[You're the one, you're the one who is the schizophrenic psycho!]
