Laurence's POV

It was my first day as a guard in PhoenixDrop. I love the feeling around here. My eyes wandered at the trees. Still young... I thought, and then I heard someone clearing their throat. I looked over to where it was. It was a guard. He seemed about 18, he had fluffy blonde hair, and blue eyes. He had pale- but not pale skin. He seemed cute- "You okay?" He asked. Damn his voice..wait am I? No Im not. "Errr yeah" I said and he chuckled. "My name is Garroth. Im the head guard here, and yeah nice to meet you?" He said. "Im Laurence... Ex head guard if of Meteli" I said and smiled. I felt embarressed suddenly. Why am I feeling this way?

Garroth's POV

I walked away from Laurence. I caught him starring at me... weird. Is Homosexuality aloud in a guards position? I mean, not that its bad or anything its just- yeah. I headed to Aphmau's house to see if she was okay. When I entered the house, there was Aphmau, she looked pale. "Are you okay?" I asked "Y-yeah Im just" she coughed. "Tired" she said. I crossed my arms. "Go to bed" I said. She looked at me with disbelief. "W-why?" She whined. "You need sleep, your not well, so sleep, Here- I'll carry you" I said. She sighed and gave in. I picked her up and carried her. She fell asleep in my arms as I carried her. I tucked her in and walked out. I sighed and walked to the guards station. There was Laurence. Sitting down. Cleaning his sword. I think Laurence and I will be good friends... Good friends.
