Ginny's POV

One week later.

As the day dragged on (as always) , I got more and more anxious to get home. Today at 5:30, me, my parents, the Sins, Elaine, and Liz are going to my eye doctor to get my test results to see if I am okay for eye surgery. We're very hopeful that I'll get cleared for it. I mean, if I did, it would mean I would finally be able to see the world!

Sure, I would have to learn to get around and do things with sight, but Elaine said it would be worth it. And I believe her.  She also said that since I'm good with painting, It shouldn't be too hard to learn to write properly. I already know what they look like (from Elaine drilling me on it), I just need to put it on paper. And, of course, I w-

My thoughts were interrupted by the school bell.

Wait....

That means....

I jumped out of my chair, hardly waiting for Elaine to reach me. When she did, we linked arms, and raced the halls to get to Liz's car. Everyone was meeting at my house to hang out for a while until it was time to leave. And something about the sun on my face and the wind in my hair told me today was going to be special. Very special.
