In the late Evening,

"Now the Mehandi functions is over and it's time to start everyone's fav Sangeet Function. So let's just start it with a dance of Mishbir" the host announced it on a mike and Everyone hooted for the couple of evening.

Mishbir move towards the platform and they danced on romantic song "Ishq Wala Love " . After the dance Abir pecked Mishti's lips in front of everyone and she blushed .Once again they heard numerous cheers from youngesters but at  same time they also heard some gasps coming out from old aunties mouth's and they started muttering some nonsenses about young couple. While Misbir's parents just smiled at them awkwardly. Because they knew it's common between youngsters but it's not for those aunties.

"It was fabulous dance ....So let's move towards next couple...They are also called as a best couple of television industry...So let's welcome Kaira on the stage for dance." host invited them on stage and again people cheered nd hooted for television couple.

Kaira danced on a fusion music. They danced with equal passion, love and romance . They just danced like a pro dancers. Everyone admired them with love even those aunties admired them because they are regular viewers of their daily soap on Tv.

"So now it's time for the last and most special performance of Miss Nandini ... and let me tell u guys this girl is too much 😤...she actually tortured me🥴 to announce her performance at the last " host said playfully with a chuckle and Nandini rolled her eyes at him . Manik moved his gaze towards Nandini and host, he mentally agreed to the host's comment as he also thought that she is too much to handle or predict.

Nandini started her performance . First she did mimicries of her friends, family members she also did some drama on stage and lastly she danced on a song 'Mere sayyaji se aaj mene break up karliya..' . She danced with so much expressions on her face according to the line and meanwhile  Manik was busy in watching  her every move with amusement . He thought she is a packet full of excitement, amusement and she is different she never leaves a chance to surprise  him .

"Wow...that was a mind blowing performance....ur a complete performer Miss Nandini" host praised and she passed a beautiful smile.

"So I think it's time to wr...." before host could have completed his words Nandini snatched mike from his hands and he gave her 'what the hell' look to which she royaly ignored, audience laughed at him .

"So as we all know every function is incomplete without elders blessings mostly of our parents blessings... So I would like to invite them here on stage to guide our would be couple ... I know Ur experiences and tricks to maintain a gud relation will surely help them ...so please" she asked pleadingly to all the elder couple and she made a cute puppy face to which they melted and agreed to her.

So one by one few elders including Mishbir's parents shared there experiences and also gave some tips to the youngsters . Mishbir and Kaira listened  them with much needed attention but sometimes in between the speech they did laughed and sometimes they feel bored too but overall they enjoyed. But Nandini listened them very carefully without blinking her eyes in total awe😍 as she loves marriages nd all. But Manik was the one totally pissed with this drama. Then Nandini noticed him and thought 'why he is like this. I think I should do something with this' and suddenly her eyes fell on Neyonika.

"So guys before ending this section,.... can we have u on stage Neyonika aunty?...I know ur very sweet lady and we would love to hear ur thoughts" Nandini asked Neyonika very politely nd excitedly as she thought her thoughts will change Manik's view. But she didn't noticed fuming Manik who was standing at the corner.

Neyonika unwillingly agreed to her and moved towards the platform by taking mike from Nandini she started "Overall this will going to be  very new journey for u guys and sometimes U may find  difficulty in handling situations but u just need to be patient and understanding while handling things also u should respect each others descions and last but not least never leave ur partner in any circumstances if ur love is true" she finished her speech with smile controlling her tears . As she finished there were noises coming from people, some of them were admiring her but as we say u can't escape from negativity.

Some women started taunting Neyonika one of them said "Look who is talking about being together" she taunt Neyonika and other woman in her support said " The one who's husband is not staying with her only" she taunt and laughed .

"Enough guys...we all know that her husband is away from her because of his business...U know na Malhotra Industries one of the top most industry in India" Sachin said taking Neyonika in side hug who is crying now.

"And he also visits India 3-4 times in a year  ....and that too only for Neyonika and Manik...He loves his wife and son" Supriya also said in Neyonika's defence.

"Shutttt Uppp .... Everyone just keep their fucking mouth shutt..... Otherwise u won't like consequences" dangerously angry Manik roared in his high volume. Everyone gasp at his voice. Then he strode towards Neyonika he held her hand freeing her from Sachin's grip he wiped her tears and hugged her trying to console her.

Breaking hug she said "I am fine Manik" as those words reached his ears he freed her from his grip and moved towards those ladies.

"U...,U...and everyone who is present here .....U don't have any right to comment on my Mom and my family....I am warning you all ...I won't tolerate any shit from next time...so better be mind ur tongue " he said with full rage that those aunties shivered due  his  intense and angry voice.

After warning everyone he held Neyonika's hand and left from there.

"Look how arrogant he is ....He don't even have manners to talk with elders" one of lady said . Ohh so she still has audacity to say against him Nandini thought.

"U guys still have audacity to say these after whatever happened....U made her cry with ur nonsense talks...who have given u right to blamed her and mocked her?...Ur not at her place u don't know how she is dealing with her life...U don't know her relation with her husband... May be their love for  each other is enough to survive with distance also...U guys don't know anything still ur commenting on her life ...U all are just nothing but a judgemental people who don't know anything instead creating problems in others life".. Nandini scolded those ladies and tried to put some sense in their fucking dumb heads. After being speechless all  ladies lowered their heads down .

Supriya came near Nandini pated her back and muttered 'thank you' to Nandini to which Nandini smiled sadly.

"No aunty it was my fault...I shouldn't have insisted her....But aunty trust me I didn't have any idea about this before...I am really sorry" Nandini said with a guilt.

"I know beta Ur intensions were right and moreover u were unaware of those things...so it's okay... don't feel bad...she will be fine...I am going to her now " Supriya said calmly to which Nandini nodded but still she was guilty and she thought of apologising to Neyonika.

"Aunty I am also coming with u ....I want to apologise to Neyonika aunty.... I have hurted her unknowingly" Nandini said

"I know beta ur still feeling guilty...But I think u shouldn't come there now...Manik must be so angry...So u better stay here...U don't know how  dangerous he is when someone tries to hurt Neyonika" Supriya said with concern.

"Ummm....Aunty why Manik is like this?...Why he always overreacts?" Nandini asked.

"He was not like this before...But situations made him like this...He had experienced so many things in life....He loves Neyonika so much that he can do anything to keep her safe...He never thinks about wrong or right when it comes to protect his mother....And why won't he protect her ? when she is the only family he have" Supriya said with sad smile

"Why is it so ? Don't he love his father ? "Nandini asked curiously.

"It's his story to share....I can't share it with you..But I think I should go now... Don't worry and take care" Supriya said and moved towards Neyonika's room after bidding bye to Nandini.

Here Nandini stood numb by hearing those words. She never thought that he must be having  some past because of that he turned like this Akdu monster. She felt crying and tears started making their way down from her eyes to her cheeks ,it was like  she is trying to feel his pain.
 

For hiding her vulnerable state she ran outside the house to find some peace. She went outside in the garden and settled herself on bench.

Here after reaching inside the room Manik made Neyonika sat on bed , handed her a glass of water and she drank water. After keeping glass on side table Manik said "Mom I think we should leave now... Let's start packing" .

"What? .....Are you mad Manik?.....We can't leave like this " Neyonika said .

"No mom ...This place is not for us....And I can't tolerate ur insult....We are leaving now" Manik said with a anger.

"Manik I am fine...And listen people are always there to harm u, hurt you...But it's totally depends on u how u react on it....U can't run away like this everytime...U need to fight for urself ....I know sometimes their talks do hurt us...But we are not cowards to run away...We are strong enough to handle such situations...we are not going anywhere" Neyonika tried to calm Manik down . She knows how to handle her son and she also knows how to fight back . She has became a strong woman as life has taught her so much.

"Yes Manik... Neyonika is right...And I think now it's too late u should go to ur room ...take some rest" Supriya said as she entered the room .

She handed a glass of milk to Neyonika and asked Manik to go out as Neyonika needs to rest . He immediately agreed and after confirming that she is okay he went out from there.

He too reached there at garden to find some peace but he noticed someone is already there so he moved towards that figure.

And after seeing Nandini there he lost his temper.

"Why ?....Why  you did  that ?" Hearing his dangerous voice she flinched and turned to him.

"Manik..Ma-nik listen ...I didn't did that deliberately...I -am so-rry " she stammered.

"U think I will believe u ....tell me honestly one  thing that u did that to hurt me ...haina? " He asked and he came close to her.

"Yes I did it for you but not to hurt u or aunty....trust me my intention were not wrong" Nandini told him honestly.

He came more close to her and held her arms , pulling her towards him while she shivered with his touch " U know what... I thought ur different..ur not same as other girls...I thought u can't hurt anyone....But u proved me wrong... because u bloody hurted my mom...U know... Because of u she cried today...She is very strong woman...But today she broke down...why? ... Because of u...And now I regret for changing my thinking about you Nandini" he said accusingly with anger, hurt and regret in his eyes for breaking his walls and allowing her to enter.

"Why Manik? ....Why are u like this?....Why those words affect u nd aunty so much?" she said almost choking at her words and here his anger  reached its peak remembering all those things again. He pushed her back. And said

"Shuttt uppp...And Don't... don't try to find those answers...ur no one to us ...so u  better be stay away from us " he said angrly and turned to move away but suddenly she held his hand but he didn't turned back.

"I - a-m so-rr-y " she tried but he jerked her hand forcefully and freed his hand from her grip and went out from there . That force was so much that she lost her balance and side of her head  hit the side of bench . Blood started oozing out from that cut . Though the cut wasn't much big but it was deep enough for blood to ooze out.

But instead of feeling physical pain she was going through a mental pain the pain of hurting someone. She never likes to hurt others but his words made her feel more guilty.

After composing herself she came inside home and directly went to the her room . Without changing and dressing the wound she slept on bed with tears in her eyes. She was very tired because she haven't eaten a food after afternoon and also because of dance and all , so she drifted into deep slumber instantly.

Here Manik also returned home after drinking one bottle of bear to calm himself ,  before going to his room he went to Neyonika's room to check on her .

"So u r still awake,?" Manik asked as he reached near her.

"How I can sleep when my son is not fine...I know Manik ur not fine...But please forget what happened there" Neyonika knows her son very well.

"Yes mom I am not fine...And it all happened because of her .... She did wrong deliberately" Manik said with anger.

"No Manik....She did it ... But her intension weren't wrong....And after we went away from there, she handled situation very keenly...she made them speechless by her maturity....And she is guilty for that too because she can't hurt anyone....Manik Supriya Vahini (bhabhi) told me everything ,..Nandini is not someone who can hurt other person deliberately but instead she will try to make anyone happy...she is different Manik she has guts to fight against wrong nd also she knows how to accept her fault .... Don't be mad on her ... okay?" Neyonika stated the fact and tried to calm him down to which Manik looked at her and calmly nodded. And asked her to sleep. After making her sleep he went out from her room .

Now he was guilty because again he has hurted her again he doubted her gud nature and her intensions . He don't know how he reached near her  room which is adjacent to his room .

He entered and saw her sleeping he went near her and kneeled down beside her bed and then he noticed her wound nd he remembered how he jerked her hand with a force and he felt guilty and angry on him for hurting her again.

He dressed her wound carefully and cleaned her face with wiping tissues  he did noticed her dried tears he kissed her cheeks and then he kissed on her forehead and mumbled " I am sorry"over there.

After watching her peaceful face for minutes he went out from her room closing the door behind he entered inside his room and after changing into shorts and vest he too without having food slept immediately.
