In Deshmukh mansion,

"Manikk " she called him , as she saw him , moving from here to there with harsh step , holding beer bottle in his one hand , and with other hand he was destroying all the things in his room . He was very angry and he was drinking a beer so vigorously .

"Manikk" she again called him but he was not in proper senses to hear her voice . So after finishing bottle he looked at bottle for 2-3 seconds , and then he slumped that bottle on nearer table. Broken pieces of bottle , scattered on the floor and some pieces of glass pierced  his hand.

By seeing this Nandini ran towards him she shook him but he was less concerned , jerking her hand , he again started finding another , bottle for drinking. By seeing him like this she felt so bad and,

She slapped him hard and he came into his senses he looked at her "Why you slapped me?" he asked angrily. He was already angry and she just added fuel to his anger .

"Manik" she just hugged him tight and he was shocked for few seconds then he too reciprocated her. His eyes were red because he had controlled his tears,  from falling down , he had turned his hurt into anger and he was destroying everything around him. But she just hold him then and there .

"Let it out Manik.... Crying is not crime....just let those tears out" she said rubbing his back , trying to calm his anger down. Feeling her soothing touch , his anger got vanished and he found someone who can gathered him. So he just let those tears come out from his eyes. He cried in her arms .

For the first time he had found his peace in crying. He had allowed her , to share his pain . And she was healing him. He cried for 10 mins . For the first time he cried this much .

After feeling his breathing normal she broke the hug and looked at him and he again hugged her but this time he wasn't crying so after  2-3 mins they broke the hug and she just held his hand .

She made him seat on the bed , she searched for first-aid box . After finding that box , she came near him and took his injured hand in her hand.
And she carefully treated his wound and he was just looking at her.

"That was for ur inappropriate behaviour in the afternoon" She said.

"Huh..." Manik was confused.

"The slap was for ur misbehavior with me....U can't scold me infront of unknown people...when I wasn't at fault" she explained further and he felt guilty for that.

"Nandini I am really sorry" he said with a guilt. Till now her dressing was done so she left his hand , and she stood up.

"Ur not forgiven Mr. Malhotra" she said in firmed tone with straight face.

"But u slapped me  as a punishment for my mistake....So haven't u forgiven me ?" he said with hope. He thought that she gave him punishment by slapping him.

She leaned forward and slightly kissed his cheek where she had slapped him  ,"This to compensate my slap " she said and he smiled brightly. But her next words made him shocked.

"But I can't forgive u....I slapped u because u scolded at me....And I can understand that u were angry .....But ur words have hurted me....And I can't forget that " She said in hurtful tone and Manik was hurt again.

"Bye .... Don't allow ur anger to control ur senses Manik ...Take care...I will be out of ur life from tommorow" she said and smiled sadly. She moved towards door , and before going she took a glance of Manik who was again alone , seeing him like this she felt so much pain but she leave from there.

"She just left me like that ....she took my peace with her " Manik said this to himself in total hurtful tone.

She did what she said . She became his Captain America . She protected him by providing needed warmth of her to him.  She console him. She healed him. But again she peeled off his wounds by leaving him .

He slept after some time in her thoughts. She too reached her room , and she cried her heart out for leaving him in pain. She never had hurted anyone in her whole life ,  but she is a girl with self respect , so she can't let him insult her,  and also she can't allow him to hurt her again and again.

She too slept after some time. They both were ,  hurted and were fighting with their inner battles.

In the morning,

Everyone was present their on dinning table except Shrikant who had left home last night.
It was first day of Mishti in her 'Sasural' so she made 'Gajar ka halwa' for everyone.

"Wow... It's amazing... Mishti beta ask me for whatever you want as ur gift ? " Sachin said praising her.

"Sachin I think u should give her tickets for honeymoon " Supriya suggested.

"I don't think.. I need to give her tickets .... Because I know Abir must have planned something for this" Sachin winked at Abir and both Mishbir blushed at his statement.

" I was thinking , to give her one of branch of our companies to handle...As she was MBA student...So she will surely handle this effectively....But I am confused between Pune branch and Mumbai branch" Sachin said and Mishbir was overwhelmed by this.

"Umm let's take suggestions....What u think Neyonika , Manik....And Nandini u also tell us ur opinion " Supriya said suggestively. But before anyone could answer ,

"I don't think I should interfere....I am just an outsider" Nandini said looking at Manik . Manik and Neyonika felt guilty hearing Nandini. And others also felt shocked and bad . Sensing others discomfort  she added "I mean I don't know anything about ur both branches.... So how I can suggest which to choose... And apart from that I am bad at business though I was BBA student " Nandini pouted and everyone chuckled (except Manik nd neyo )at her . Again she handled situation maturely.

A day went well , and in the evening Nandini and Mishti left for there home. And Mishti will come back in 3-5 days as it was ritual to send her to her home after marriage.  In the night Manik and Neyonika also left for there House.

Shrikant also went back to Landon before going he tried to talk with Manik and Neyonika but he failed.

After two days,

"Mom ....U need to take this " Manik said to his mother.

"I will but on one condition" Neyonika said firmly.

"Mom ....Try to understand....I am not same Manik now.... And my age is 25.... It will not be good for me " Manik said with sad face.

"Then what about me , Manik....I am also 45+....How I can take over ur company... People will laughed on me" Neyonika said.

"Mom first thing u might be 45+ but still u look 30+ only.....And second thing it's ur company 'Neyonika constructions'....And third thing I don't care about people ....I just care about U and ur dream .....Now it's time to fulfill ur dream" Manik said.

"I can say the same Manik....U completed my dream and for that u sacrificed ur dreams....U have wasted ur 6-7 years to complete my dream" Neyonika said with guilt.

"No mom ...I invested those years in ur company...I had promised u , that I will give you ur own company to run....I know it was ur dream to be a successful business woman." Manik said trying to make her understand.

"Manik I know ur 25.... I know u have changed now....But still u have that talent in you ....And it was ur dream too.... Don't made me feel guilty....I too want u to see happy....I also want to fulfill ur dreams.... And it's my final decision if you will not follow ur dream , then I won't take that company "  Neyonika was firmed.

"U won't listen na.... Stubborn girl " Manik said dramatically and she nodded her head

"Like son .... Like mom" she shrugged her shoulders dramatically and Manik chuckled at her.

"So here it is" she forwarded an envelope to him he frowned at her .

"This is letter for u from ' Imaginary World ' . They  have allowed u , to continue ur remaining course of six months , which u have left years ago " Neyonika said clearing his doubts.

"Mom ...U did this " Manik asked shockingly.

"Yes  .....I request them to allow u , as  u already have completed 1year of that course and only 6 months course is remained .... And come on I can at least do this for my only son" She said smiling and he hugged her happily.

"Thank you Mom.....ur the best" He said.

"I know....but don't think too much....just focus on ur talent and dreams...just be in a flow" Neyonika said and he nodded.

"Okay...I will join that after a week ....As I need to be with you at least for a week ...To complete some imp work .." He said and she agreed . They both were happy.

In murthy Mansion,

"Nandu beta....When will you join 'Imaginary World' again...U had took so much leaves in this month " Ishita said 

"I know Mom....But it was imp ....I took leave for Mishti." Nandu pouted.

"I know but u should be regular from now...only 6 months are left .... okay?" Ishita said.

"Okay madam ...I will join from tommorow only...now happy?" Nandini said dramatically.
And they both laughed.

Next day ,

She woke up from her bed . She did her usual morning stuff , and got ready into Comfortable jeans and top

After having her breakfast and bidding bye to her sweet parents , she left for 'Imaginary World' in her car. She reached there and,

"Hii guys.... Have u missed me?" she said in excited tone and her friends turned towards her and in few seconds they all hugged her tightly and she coughed.

"I can't breathe" she huffed and they broke the hug.

"We missed you so much Nandu"  Naina said with sad pout .

"Yes Nandu ...we all were missing your pranks"  Rohan added.

"And u know...our Hitler was also missing you"
Aayan said excitedly.

With this they started their non-stop ranting and Nandu patiently listened all their talks .

"I too missed u all....Shadi  period was awesome we enjoyed alot and I have so much to share with u guys....But for now we should attend our class.... Otherwise Hitler will scold us" all agreed to her and they entered.

They enjoyed so much after long time. Nandini's day went well with her friends. But after that incident she tried to ignore Manik's thought but she failed. It's not like she was deeply attached with him but she was feeling a something different with her. Like something is missing from her life as he wasn't there.  May be because from last few days they were constantly in touch , she thought.

Here same was the Manik's condition he couldn't get her out of his mind. He was feeling a emptiness around him as she wasn't there . Her thoughts weren't leaving his mind , may be because he is guilty and she haven't forgiven him , that's why he must be thinking about her , he thought.

Like this ,  a week passed.
Nandini's week passed with her friends, family and some craziness.
Manik's week passed with doing his remaining imp work of office , as he he needs to setup everything properly before Neyonika take over company. But one thing was common in both they used to think about each other everyday. Somewhere down inside them they do wanted to meet . But they thought it's not possible .

Next day was waiting for them. Manik was little nervous , as he was going to fulfill his dream which he had left few years back , and now he don't know how he will cope up with things . But he can do this  , for him and his Mom he thought , and slept. Here Nandini was as usual excited , as she will be doing some crazy stuff with her friends tommorow , with this thought she too slept.
