Sage's POV

The shift went by slowly. All I've done Is walk around and figure out where everything is. I heard a loud commotion coming from the front desk all the sudden. They started calling my name to the front desk *Dr.Griffin please report to the front of the building Dr.Griffin* I went running knowing it was something bad. When I reached the front desk I saw a familiar face. It was Matteo, and he was clearly in an immense amount of pain. I quickly ran over and swept my arm around him. "Get Dr.Cooper's station ready now. I have to do stitches on this man" I yell. I quickly pulled him into Dr.Coopers medical room. I started up all the IVs. It's Matteo my Matteo. He didn't look the same, he looked different. His chiseled jawline is covered in stubbly hair. His eyes are dark underneath. He looks like he's been through some rough shit.

Matteo's POV

When I arrived at the hospital I was weak. I could barely see anything. I was so dazed and out of it. Everything around me was extremely blurry. The only thing I remember is seeing a woman grab me and help me into a room. I was too weak to see what she looked like. She sat me down in the bed and started IVs on me. The last thing I saw before I went under was a man in a lab coat walking in.

Sage's POV

I was so worried. What did he get himself into and why was he stabbed? I tried not to think about it too much. "Dr.Griffin, can you please go check on the patient in room 108. He should be coming out of the anesthesia any minute now" Dr.Cooper says. I slowly make my way to Matteo's room. What if he gets mad that I'm here? Or he doesn't want me in there with him. How am I going to explain?
