•Chapter 5
<<Evan POV>>
"Jonathan? Fancy. Where you from?" I sat down on the couch, making myself comfortable.
"North Carolina, but it's not important. I just need to know the wedding date."
"Wait, I thought you knew? Considering your her brothers friend."
"I am. But did you forget? They don't hang out or talk. Just tell me, he wants to know." He paced around, his hands on his hips with an amused look.
"3 days." I lied, the wedding was in a week. I just didn't trust this cute guy entirely.
"Evan I'm- Um, hi?" Tyler came out in his usual wildcat outfit, he was surprised to see Jonathan in the room.
"Tyler, this is Jonathan. He heard you making all the noise from the hallway." I said. Tyler held out his hand, Jonathan glared at it and him before finally shaking it.
"Um, ok. Well, we have errands to run and shit to do so can we kindly ask you to leave?" Tyler asked, Jonathan stayed quiet and glanced at me before slowly nodding. He opened the door and let himself out, quietly slamming the door behind him. "Creepy ass bitch."
"Well he is creepy and a bit strange but I wouldn't call him a bitch." I said.
"Now, who was he really?"
"Said he was Allan's friend."
"Who's Allan?"
"Keira's brother." I said, "she never mentioned she had a brother."
"I know, we have to ask just to make sure. Did you tell him the wedding date?"
"No. I lied and said it was in 3 days." I grabbed my phone and my wallet as Tyler grabbed his wallet, phone, and the keycard. Tyler took out his phone and dialed a number, I think it was Brock.
"Hello? Brock?"
"Yeah, hey. Um, can we please talk to you and Keira somewhere?"
"Now? Ok, where?"
"Alright see you there." Tyler hung up, looking at me and hinting to the door. We opened the door, peering around the corners to see if the guy was still there. Lucky us, the hallways were empty and only the walls were listening. We slowly shut or door as we made our way to the elevator. The button dinged and it commanded the elevator down. I still peered behind my shoulder, looking around. The light flash of blue, caught my eye. It was a split second, but I could tell what room it dashed into. I was turning to investigate before I was pulled into the elevator.
"Let's go." Tyler said.
<<Jonathan POV>>
I watch as the doors close and the elevator goes down, I walk over to their door. Sliding half of a sheet of paper and a my room key card to pick the lock. It flashed green as I slowly opened it. The room was a bit messy but not to much.
"Alright, now which fuck am I gonna pretend to be with?" I whispered. I opened the closet near the bed and searched through the first white duffel bag. Nothing but clothes, a water gun, a tux, and some boxers. I grabbed the black one. I soon found many electronics, even an I pad. I opened the device, seeing as it had no passcode. I searched through his info, but never found his name, but that's when I held the home button to long.
'What can I do for you?' The voice out of this device scared me, I've never heard something like it.
"Um, hi?"
'Hello, Evan.' So this is Evan's shit, isn't it?
"Who are you?" I was just pushing myself to ask.
'My name is Siri, do you not recall?'
"No. Thanks and goodbye."
'Goodbye.'
I shut off he iPad and packed everything away. I got up and sniffed the air, immediately covering my nose. I turned to the toilet and ran to flush it.
"Fuckers can't flush." I stomped out of the room and quietly shut the door. I walked to the elevator myself and clicked he button. I started thinking, the Evan guy is the only guy I've actually started a conversation with..plus he's given me info that's much needed in Allan's case. The elevator dinged and I stepped inside, pressing 'Lobby'.
<<Evan POV>>
We made our way through the crowd of people to Brock's table. He was sitting next to Kiera on his phone, she peered over his shoulder and watched as he scrolled but looked up as he shit it off.
"Hey guys." He stood up and gave us handshakes then a hug. Keira hugged us as well and we all took our seats. "So, what's so urgent that you needed to talk to us?"
"There was..well, Evan?" Tyler turned to me, and now all 6 eyes were on me. I coughed and shifted before I spoke.
"So, earlier this morning, there was a tall brunette that lived in the room next to us. He came into our room complaining about noise," I glared at Tyler, "but then he started to chat with me. Asking me about why I'm here, I told I'm here for a wedding. I said, specifically, your wedding Brock. And he mention..Keira." Keira looked uneasy, Brock rested his hand on her arm.
"What did he mention?" Brock asked.
"He said, she had a brother," she looked at me, "saying he wanted to know when the wedding was. To set things straight."
"Oh no.." Keira whispered.
"And you told him!?" Brock rose his voice a bit.
"No! No, no, no!"
"Brock, sweetie, Evan's not the bad guy here." Keira spoke up. She cleared her throat and gave us all a straight face, which is unlike her cause she's usually easy-going and fun. "I need you boys to listen, my brother is a no good man. Everyone I've ever dated has need driven scared away from me. The past boyfriend before Brock, I decided enough was enough. I said I was leaving and never coming back and from then on I cut contact with my brother." She stared at Brock and then us.
"Why would your brother be out looking for you and asking people to ask one of us about you?"
"He never though any boy in the world is good enough for me. He must of heard about the wedding from someone, and it wasn't Evan if that man asked Evan about it." She said, "there's a traitor. He's among us." She sighed and looked me clean in the eyes. "Evan."
"Yeah, Keira?"
"If you see, anybody to this description, be suspicious. A tall male, usually wears black, brownish-blondeish hair, and grey cruel eyes. That's my brother."
"What do I do if I see him?"
"You don't make eye contact, and you run or walk away if its crucial."
