Treat you better

The next couple of days Diego was spending time with his daughter. Diego would often play with her like hide and seek like they used to.

Lucy was getting more happier to spend time with her father. As they were playing Diego felt shivers on his spine.

Diego decided to take his daughter for a walk. Lucy was curious about her surroundings. There more plants around the woods.

Then they went to a plain area where sabers meet and chat. It was where Diego met Shira.

As soon they entered a lot sabers were looking at them strangely.

One of sabers spoke, "Is that Diego?"

The other spoke, "I thought he died."

The third saber spoke, "I heard that his mate cheated on him, but he has a cub."

The fourth spoke, "Diego changed I can sense he is protective over the cub. Also his body changed he used to be a average guy. Now he looks tough and menacing."

The other cubs decided to met the Diego's daughter. Lucy looked at her father as the other cubs were approaching.

Diego didn't want her to go, but she must learn how to interact with other sabers. Diego would nod to his daughter that she can go.

Diego was bit jealous of his daughter if some kid decided to flirt with her. Diego decided to watch from afar.

Lucy approached them wondering what to say. When the cubs came to face to face with Lucy. Some were scared of her due her fierceness look. Lucy was a bit larger than a average cub.

One of cubs spoke, "Are you a boy?"

Lucy responded bit nervously, "No... I'm a girl."

The cubs were shocked to see that is a girl. Other were embarrassed by their ego. Thinking to challenge her thinking is a boy but a girl. Not to mention they were hypnotized by her beauty.

Lucy noticed that she was larger than other guys. Which doesn't know to either to feel bad or laugh.

As Lucy was thinking to say something. Then a cub bumped into her by behind. Lucy turned around who bumped her. It was a another orange cub.

The cub spoke calmly, "I'm sorry." Then continued to walk passed her. Lucy noticed that the cub was different. He was calm and gentle.

Lucy found herself blushing. Diego noticed by her reaction. Diego started growling that she was already captivated by someone. It was the jealously of a father.

Diego knew he had control himself. He remembered he had to face his father in law. Diego didn't want to hurt his daughter feelings after the death of her mother.

After hours passed Lucy was challenged into duels. Lucy was proved to stronger than other males. As Lucy was enjoying her time. She ran into the same saber that bumped her sleeping.

Lucy decided to tease the cub. Lucy began to lightly touch his fur. Lucy found it soft and cozy. Then she spoke sweet words to his ears.

By this the cub woke up and saw the saber.

Lucy spoke, "Ah you are awake. Did I make your heart beat?"

The cub responded calmly, "No. You just woke me up during my sleep."

Lucy noticed that the cub was savage when it comes in comebacks. The cub started to get up. Lucy noticed the cub was larger than her. Lucy felt she found the right saber and started blushing.

The cub spoke, "Why your face is red?"

Lucy turned her head away from him. The cub turned her head back at him. Lucy was now beat red.

The cub spoke calmly, "Strange. You are more red."

The cub felt someone was right behind him. It was Diego watching from behind. The cub wasn't fazed at all like he is use to it.

The cub turned and saw Diego looking at him.

Lucy spoke trying to defend the cub, "Daddy no..."

Diego spoke, "What you were thinking about to do with my daughter?"

The cub responded calmly, "I was checking why her face was red."

Diego was shocked that the cub was being honest and blunt. Diego was sure he is a good saber.

Diego spoke, "You can be friends with my daughter but sure don't hurt her. Let go Lucy is getting late."

Lucy looked at cub blushing and spoke, "Now you know my name. What yours?"

The cub responded, "My name is Kevin."

Then Diego took Lucy back home. Diego was glad that Lucy was able to get a friend. Still with jealousy of Kevin.
