Part 40 Revealed

The flight landed in Saudi Arabia. Arnav took Khushi to the residence given by Shyam. When he came to his portion, he saw his colleagues waiting for him.

"Hi, Arnav; I wish you a happy married life," they said.

"Thank you. you here?"

"Shyam sir asked us to give this portion key to you." they handed him the room key.

Arnav nodded ok. When he left the job, he handed the key to Shyam.

"Did you guys have dinner?"

"Yeah, we had dinner on the flight."

"Ok. There are some eatables in the room. Have it if you are hungry."

"Thank you so much, guys."

"You are welcome. Call us if you need anything."

They left the place.

Arnav opened the door and extended his hand. Khushi held his hand. They entered the room together, hand in hand. Khushi liked the portion so much. It was not so big or small. He had four rooms.

"This is so good" She looked through the window.

The view from the fifth floor was lovely. She could not believe Saudi was a desert-based country. It looked lively.

"Let's go..."

"You are tired. Go and get fresh," Arnav said.

Khushi nodded yes. Arnav brought her to the bedroom. Both got stuck seeing the room being decorated. Arnav raised his brows, whereas Khushi looked at him and gulped down. Arnav looked at her from the corner of his eyes, touching his molar teeth.

"Shall we?" Arnav asked.

Khushi widened her eyes.

"I mean, shall we sleep?" He asked seriously.

Khushi looked at him plainly.

"Really, I'm sleepy..." he said, controlling his smile.

Khushi went to the washroom to get fresh. She came out, wiping her face. She got stuck, seeing him sleeping. She stood, keeping her hands on her hips with an unbelievable stare. Did he sleep?

She slowly moved to him and looked at him. She raised her brows, and his breath was gradual.

"He should be tired. He didn't even sleep on the train last night." She murmured.

Putting the towel on the stand, she came to the bed and took the other side. She extended her hand to switch off the light. She jerked as her hand was on Arnav's clutch.

"What so urgent to switch the light off?" he asked.

"Don't you sleep?" she blinked her eyes.

"Sleep? Are you serious? What day is this? Do you want me to sleep?"

"Were you pretending?"

"I was resting..."

"I thought..."

"I slept..."

"Mmm"

He came close to her and asked,

"Are you seriously want to sleep?" he asked huskily.

"Will you let me sleep if I want to sleep?" she questioned, not answering.

"I will let you sleep, but I won't sleep and do what I want."

"What will you do?"

"I will celebrate our first night."

"You said you would let me sleep?"

"Yes, I do."

"If you celebrate our first night, how will I sleep?"

"It's your problem. Not mine. I have no problem letting you sleep, but sleeping is purely your choice."

"What's the point?"

"Leave my point... answer me, will you sleep on our first night?"

"Won't we sleep on our first night for a while too?"

Arnav smiled and kissed her forehead.

It was the starting point of their relationship. After starting the relationship, there was no chance of looking back. They went ahead and ahead, breaking all the grief of their separation. Both were deeply in love with each other. So, it indeed would have shown in their actions. The man who wanted to adore his love lady didn't miss the chance. The girl who was visually impaired, who wished to SEE his face, saw his face with many expressions. She admired him, ignoring her pain. She cupped his face and kissed his forehead, making him emotional. He hugged her tight and said,

"I love you."

"I know that long ago," She smiled.

Arnav lay on her shoulder, circling her waist.

The next day

Payal woke up and got ready for the office. That was when she got a call from Aman. Payal hesitated to answer. The call disconnected. Payal sighed, but the phone rang again. This time, Payal replied.

"Hello, Aman"

"Hi, Payal. Are you ready to go to the office?"

"Yes... getting ready"

"Wait for a while"

"For what?"

"Somebody is coming to meet you."

"Who?"

"Did you take a morning shower?"

"Not yet"

"Go and take a bath. I will call you again."

"Wait..."

He disconnected the call, leaving Payal in a state of confusion. She quickly bathed and chose a decent dress, her mind buzzing with curiosity about the unexpected visitors.

Payal heard a calling bell. She ran to open the door, but her father opened it before that. Payal was taken aback when Aman's parents stood with a smile, a surprise she had not anticipated.

"Namaste ji, please come in," Payal's father greeted them.

Payal was puzzled. She knew Aman's parents, but how did her father know them?

"Koyal, they are here", Payal's father said to his wife, adding to the mystery of the situation.

Payal's mother, Koyal, came out of the kitchen and welcomed them. Payal could not understand anything. It seemed her parents were waiting for Aman's parents, which meant they had already spoken about their visit to her parents. But why they were there?

"Please take your seat." Payal's father, Anand, said. He looked at Koyal,

"Bring them something to drink."

Koyal nodded okay and went to the kitchen. Payal followed her.

"Mom, why are Aman's parents here?"

"They are here to ask your hand for Aman."

"Whaaaat?" Payal was shocked.

"Yes, throw the bloody Aaksh away from your mind and marry Aman."

"Mom, but..."

"No ifs and buts... this marriage will happen no matter what."

"Mom, why didn't you tell me anything?"

"Why should we tell you? What do you do to know?"

"This is not fair..."

"Payal, don't try to do anything. We won't spare you. We don't want you to spoil your life on the useless, selfish idiot."

"Mom, I won't spoil my life, but don't you think I need some time."

"Aman will give you time... don't worry."

"Mom, this is not done."

"We did..." Taking the coffee tray, she left the kitchen.

That was when Payal got a call from Aman.

"Aman, what do you think of yourself?"

"Leave it. We will discuss that later. Now, go and agree to the marriage."

"Aman, just stop it... ok?"

"No. If you don't agree to marry me, I will kill myself."

"Whaaat?"

"I said I would commit suicide."

"Have you gone mad?"

"No... but I will surely go mad."

"Aman..."

Cutting her,

"If you don't believe me, I will come on a video call and let you see..."

Aman disconnected the call. Payal got a video call the next second. She attended the call urgently. Aman appeared on screen, holding a blade close to his neck.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"I don't want to live without you. Because of that idiot Akash, I missed you once. Not anymore. If you don't agree to marry me, I will surely cut off my neck."

"Aman..."

Aman pressed the blade on his neck, and it slightly bleed.

"Aman stop... just stop..." She pleaded.

"Marry me... then only I will stop."

Payal closed her eyes.

"Tell me..."

"Ok... stop the nonsense."

Aman lowered his hand.

"Apply medicine. You are bleeding." She chocked.

"Sure, sweetheart", he disconnected the call.

Payal came out of the kitchen.

"Aman likes Payal so much." Aman's mother said, looking at Payal smilingly.

"We are so lucky to have such a sweet son-in-law."

They looked at Payal, who smiled awkwardly.

"We would like this wedding to happen soon." Aman's father said.

"We, too, don't want to delay."

They fixed the wedding the next month, leaving Payal in deep turmoil.

..............

Arnav had no mood to leave the bed... or maybe he didn't want to leave Khushi. They were still under the quilt.

Arnav's sleep was disturbed when Arnav's phone rang. He took it without opening his eyes and attended to it.

"Hello..."

"ASR, the truth revealed." Said Aman.

Arnav opened his eyes and asked,

"What truth?"

"The man behind Khushi's issue is the owner of the TRUTH channel, Dinesh Mehra."

"Whaaat? Dinesh Mehra?"

"Yes, a video leaked to the opposition channels."

"What video?"

"The men who chased us from the temple spoke in an intoxicated state about Dinesh Mehra and his plan."

"Is it?"

"Yes, it's the talk of the town. It created a big blow in India..."

"I can't believe this."

"Adding to it, the men in the video were found dead in a lonely bungalow this morning..."

"Dead? Who killed them?"

"I don't know. The police are investigating. The situation is not good here. I don't think of coming to India right now. We will decide accordingly," Aman warned.

"Ok..." Arnav disconnected the call.
