She's Akreñia Kragonda, admired by many because of her undeniable beauty and talents. People first impressions to her is that she's smart and friendly, yeah she is.

But then, a tragedy happened that caused Akreñia to change. Is really the tragedy that changed her or there are other reasons causing her to be anti-social?

Will there be someone who could help her be Akreñia again whom people used to know? Is Akreñia willing to be her old self again with a better version of who she really is?

One day, Akreñia was sitting on a chair near a window inside Masculado's Cafe. She decided to take a nap so she placed her one arm on the table as she lays her head on it facing the window and closed her eyes.

Minutes passed, a guy named Martin went near Akreñia to know if it was really her. Well, her sister informed him that Akreñia is there.

Martin look at Akreñia's reflection on the window glass and thought, "It's really her. Why is she sleeping? Anyway, she must be tired."

Martin tapped the table many times but slowly as he sat on a chair beside Akreñia. Akreñia slowly opens her eyes as she turns her head to Martin's direction. Akreñia's eyes widened making her unable to moved normally.

Her hands started to tremble. Martin noticed it so he tried to hold Akreñia's hand but then Akreñia didn't let him to.

"Just trying to comfort you," Martin said calmly in a concerned way.

Akreñia looked at Martin and asked, "W-Why?"

Martin took a deep sigh. "Akreñia, until when will you be like that? Where's the Akreñia that I know?"

Akreñia turned her gaze away from Martin and bowed her head. She tried not to let her tears out. She doesn't want to cry in front of Martin or anyone.

"I hate seeing you like this. Why won't you just be the old Akreñia again?" Upon after hearing these words, a tear fell from Akreñia's eyes.

Akreñia started to sob. She can't take it anymore. She thought maybe it's time to let out all she wanted to say. "I can trust him, right?"

She took a deep breathe. "I can trust you, right?" she asked as she tilt her head and looked at Martin's eyes.

Martin nods in agreement. It hurts him seeing the tears falling from Akreñia's eyes. He wanted to wiped up all those tears.

"You know what, I also—" Akreñia paused for a while as she wiped the tears running through her cheeks, "don't know until when will I be like this. I wanted to be the old me."

Akreñia bowed her head as she remembers the time when she was able to smile in front of everyone. The moments when she was enjoying talking to anyone.

Akreñia tilted her head and looked at Martin again. "But... I can't. I don't want to. They'll judge me again with the same words they used to say. If I'll be that Akreñia again, I might end up to be like this again."

Martin moves his chair closer to Akreñia and held one of her hand. "No, you will never be."

"Martin, this is not me."

"That's you. Just learn to love yourself. You'll be healed soon from the pain you're feeling right now. It takes time, Akreñia."

Akreñia remained silent and just let her tears fall.

After few minutes, she started speaking again. "Losing a family member is not easy. I blame myself for it. Because of me, I lose the one who love and supported me the most. It's my fault that because of my anger I lose her. I lose my sister."

"Cry and cry until there's no more tears. The next time you cry, I hope it's not the same reason why you're crying now. Your past don't define you. Move on. Don't blame yourself too, Akreñia. She doesn't want you in this situation. That car accident that happened to her is not your fault."

"Yeah. It's not my fault but why it need to happen?"

"Everything happens for a reason. Learn to accept everything."

Days, weeks, months and even years have passed. Akreñia is finally free from the past with the help of Martin and through the help of her family and real friends. She learned to accept the past, forgive herself and the ones who hurt her and she also learn to love herself. She's back, the old and the new her is the real Akreñia.

"Thank you, Martin. You're always on my side during my darkest times. You deserve my love. You really do. I love you!" Akreñia said as she hugged Martin. Martin hugged her too.

"Is this real? Don't wake me up if this is a dream! Yes! Akreñia is my girlfriend now!" Martin carried Akreñia and turned around. He kissed Akreñia's forehead. "Thank you for accepting my love! I love you!"

Akreñia and Martin enjoyed their moment.
