Her Advice

"Don't make me choose, please. I hate choosing," a girl in red dress said while preventing her tears to come out.

"You need to. You should choose only one of us!" a boy said loudly.

"Me or him?" asked the other boy pointing himself then to the other guy.

" I-I don't know who to choose. I-I'm really confused."

"Cut! Very good you did it well. Our project is finished!" Kian said while playing her phone on her hand.

"We're just curious Kian, why is it hard for you to choose the one?" Katty asked her, the one who acted awhile ago as the girl.

"Why of a sudden you asked that kind of question? Who are those guys you're talking about?" Kian asked with confusion.

"Confirmed. You're in love now. Who are the two?"
"Give me the other whom you did not choose."
"Choose wisely, Kian."

"Okay. I'll choose wisely."

"His name is Wisely that's great."
"How about the other one?"
"What's his name?"
"Facebook account?"
"Number?"

"Shut up guys! You're talking and guessing too much. Go home now. It's just a product of my imagination!" Kian rolled her eyes. They just laughed at her that made her to walk out.

"It's just my imagination but what if it'll happen to me? No it already happened or still happening?" Kian thought.

She went home straight.

While she's browsing her phone, it came to her mind her conversation with Hazel before. She reminisced it. Hazel is a person who she considered as her elder sister.

"How can you say that you are in love?" Kian asked Hazel with a serious tone and a determination to found out how.

"For me is that you'll know that you fall in love with him when you care for him. You want to know if he's fine. You'll accept him for who he is. You're still willing to let him go for what makes him happy. Why did you asked? Is there already someone?" Hazel grinned.

Kian sighed. She know that she's feeling what Hazel is saying.

"Who will you choose A or B? A is your best friend and you feel that he likes you and you like him too until B came and he likes you until you fall for him. A or B?"

Hazel remained silent for awhile. "If you are afraid to break your friendship with A then continue with B. You're still young, sis. Don't rush yourself."

Kian looked at the door when someone knocked. Her eyebrows met because she's not expecting a visitor right now or maybe her parent's visitor.

"Kian! It's me!" Kian jumped with excitement and she rushed to the door to open it. She heard the voice of her so called elder sister, Hazel. That voice. She really miss hearing it.

"I miss you my sister! Yahoo! If only you're my real sister. Sadly it's not," Kian joyfully said and hugged Hazel tight.

"How's your study?" Hazel asked hugging Kian too.

"It's fine," Kian answered. They loosen the hug. Kian closed the door after that.

They walked heading the living room. "Come and have a sit."

"Thank you sis," said Hazel as she sat on the sofa.

"Wait here. I'll just prepare a juice and a home baked cupcake for you," Kian said.

"Wow. Nice! I miss eating cupcakes."

Kian smiled at her and went to the kitchen. Prepared their snack and went back to the living room. She saw Hazel browsing her phone.

"Here. Let's eat and drink," Kian said as she puts the tray of juice and cupcake on the mini table. "I didn't expect that your coming over, sis. You don't have classes this Saturday?"

Hazel sipped her juice before speaking. "I don't have. It was cancelled for some reasons. Well, thanks to it. I have a time to visit my little sister!" She smiled at Kian and pinched her right cheek.

"That hurts!" Kian said while covering her cheek.

They both laughed afterwards.

"Okay sister, enough. Stop laughing." They slowly stopped.

Kian hemmed. "I have a question again, elder sister. It is related to my question last time."

Hazel got curious. "What is it, sis?"

"I did continue with B and I found out that A and B are friends. If ever that A will confess to me. It's not going to be fine because my heart will beat for two." Hazel just nod.

Kian continued, "However, I need to choose only one. If I will choose B again what will happen? If I'll choose A what will happen?"

Hazel thought for awhile then spoke, "If that's the case that A confessed to you. It's not my decision if who will you choose. I know that you can choose the right one. There will be a time that one of them will fall for someone else and in that time you will know who you will choose. Because from the very beginning you already got the answer, you're just afraid to break something." She paused and sipped her juice.

"Just like what I've said before, you're still young. Your heart is still complete when it comes to love life. Don't follow my foot steps, dear. I don't want to see you broken and that's hard to bring it back to complete again." Hazel paused again and went beside Kian.

"Life is full of challenges, I know you can handle it. Just listen to your heart." She points Kian's heart and continue speaking.

"But take this," she said as she points her head. "One day you'll need to use them both." She smiled and tapped Kian's shoulder.

Kian just remained silent. "I want to know who is A and B but I know I'll know them soon. You haven't told me who your friends are but I know they are not a bad influence." She chuckled that made Kian smiled.

"I'm not fond of Facebook so I don't know." Hazel started a conversation to break the silence.

"I'm sorry, elder sister. Thank you for understanding me." Kian smiled. "I'm blessed that I have you in my life and I'm afraid to lose one of you."

Hazel hugged Kian. "Sshhh. You will not lose one of us but if it is planned, you can't stop it."

Kian hugged her back and smiled.

"I'll choose the one whom I've chosen from the very beginning. However, my so called elder sister is right. I don't need to rush things. I need to hold on," Kain thought.
