"The f*ck! What's wrong with you? What's the use of setting an alarm as a reminder for you to take your medicines if you're not even taking it in?"

"Why care? Why do you care, Konnor?" I faked a laugh. "What's the use of taking in those medicines? I'm better laying on the coffin! That's way better than being in this war! I no longer have someone to lean on."

"I'm here! I'm here, Sophie! Can't you see me? I can be that someone you need!"

"You left! You left me, Konnor. You left me the moment I need someone! You disappear without saying a word! I was dumbfounded. The moment you left, we already broke up. I scream loudly inside me. The war within me got worse. I want peace. I need peace. However, all I've experienced was chaos. I'm giving up!"

He walks towards me. I wanted to walk away but I couldn't move. I felt my eyes are ready to cry. He hugged me when he finally reached my spot.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Sophie. I'm here again. I'm back. Let's be us again. Let's continue our story. I thought leaving you would give you peace but I just made the war worse. Sorry for leaving you. I was also at war with myself back then. I don't want you to worry about me but I guess I was wrong. Leaving you made your situation worse. Let's fix it, Sophie. Let's fight together. You fought the war alone with the years I'm not with you. You're a fighter, Sophie. Why give up now? I'm already here. I'll help you."

My tears already fall and I just hugged him. "Please don't leave me again. Be with me again, from now til forever. I want peace. I need peace. Be my hero again. Help me save myself from the war that I myself created without me noticing it. Be my peaceful home. You're not just a person, you're a place I can call home. Please stay, Konnor."

He tighten the hug and kissed my forehead. He look into my eyes and wiped the tears on my cheeks using his thumb then his face slowly leans towards me. The next thing I know, his lips already meets mine.
