Prince
"Okay, I've freshened up, and now I am super late for my meeting. You are a little handful, Ms. Lange."
"Oh come on, you love it!"
Idris chuckles. "I do love it. Okay, kiss for mummy. Muah! And kisses for babies." Idris kisses her belly. "I will see you tonight Love."
"Okay. Have a nice day at work, Daddy!" Jessica smiles.
"Thanks babe. Have fun with the twins!"
"I will!"
Jessica smiles and grabs her belly before looking down to her beautiful bump.
"Hey! You're twenty weeks today, huh?"
"Yep!"
"Crazy to think we're halfway there."
"I know! These babies need names!"
"Well little man can be little Idris." He smiles.
Jessica laughs. "I don't think so." She scrunches her nose.
Idris chuckles and kisses the tip of her nose.
"You don't like my name?"
"I love it, you know that! But that's not his name."
"Alright, well then we'll talk about it. I'll see you later, beautiful."
"See ya later, baby!"
**
When Idris returned home Jessica was laid out on the couch, eating her dinner and watching tv.
"Hey baby!"
"Hey! Sorry I didn't wait for you to eat dinner but, the babies made me do it!"
"It's alright." Idris chuckles. "I'll just wash up and join you."
"Kay!" Jessica smiles cutely.
**
"How do you like your food, baby?" Jessica asks.
"It's delicious!"
"Thanks! I helped Paul!" Jessica smiles proudly.
"Aw did you?"
"I did! I had a little extra energy after my nap." Jessica giggles. "I'm glad you like it!"
"I Love it!"
Jessica smiles and says, "Okay, so I was searching for some baby names, and I found one that is fit for a tiny little bitty baby Princess!" Jessica pouts.
"Aw! What is it, honey?"
"Azariah!" She covers her mouth. "Zar Zar for short!"
"Aw, love that is so pretty! That's a darling name!"
"You really like it?"
"I love it! Let's see.. Azariah, come to Daddy!" Idris turns to the side and lifts his arms.
Jessica laughs.
"I think it sounds adorable! Can you picture her chubby butt running to you? With two little curly pigtails and bows on her head?"
"YES! I can! Oh I love her so much already, Jess!"
"You are so cute! Okay, now what about little mister?"
"I don't know! You didn't see any good boy names?"
"Wellll.." Jessica says with a funny smile.
"What?" Idris chuckles.
"Prince."
"Prince?
.... Like the singer?"
"Yeahhh but, I found this mommy blog, and her son's name is Prince. I know it's strange baby, but it's different and sooooo freaking CUTE!"
"I don't know about that one." He laughs. "Azariah is good! It's gorgeous! But Prince? I don't know. Kids are gonna tease him and ask if he can sing Purple Rain for them."
"Fine!" Jessica groans. "Then you come up with a name for him.. I'll STILL call him Prince!"
"That's fine." He chuckles.
Jessica looks down and softly rubs her belly. "I'm sorry daddy doesn't like your name, Prince."
"Have you been watching reality tv shows?" Idris asks.
"No, why?"
"They all name their kids strange names."
"It's CUUUTE!" Jessica whines.
***
I've always wanted a son named Prince lol! I think it's cute!
Anyway, I think Azariah is a keeper. I teach a little girl with that name and she's the sweetest!! AND she kinda looks the way I picture Idris and Jessica's daughter to look, so that name hasn't left my mind for their little girl.
