Christmas
December.
This Christmas was going to be so special.
Ziah wanted the Murphy's to stay at their home on Christmas Eve night so that way they could have Christmas morning together. So that is exactly what they did. After a fun Christmas Eve with the Lange's and the Murphy's, Hank, Jessica, and the boys drove to Ziah's house.
"Hey babe!" Ziah runs to greet his love.
"Hey Zi! Oh I missed you.."
"I missed you too." Ziah kisses Bradley's lips before turning and greeting his family.
"Hi everyone! Come in! Gabriel can take your things upstairs so you can grab some food."
"Oh no worries! I'm actually going to up and change out of this dress if you don't mind." Jessica chuckles.
"Of course!"
The two family's spent the evening telling stories from past Christmas', and watching movies. It was a lovely evening!

Christmas morning.
"Merry Christmas everyone! Oh my goodness, look at your matching pjs! See Hank, it's cute!" Jessica pouts. "The boys and I match, but Hank is such a grumpy old grinch and didn't want to wear the ones I bought him!"
"Aw! We've always matched our Christmas pajamas." Leona chuckles.
"I love it!"
The two families then sit down and open their presents.
"Jessica, I bought this for you." Idris hands Jessica a beautifully wrapped present.
Jessica looks up and smiles at Idris.
"Oh you didn't have to buy me anything!"
"Open it." He smiles.
"Okay!" Jessica giggles and rips the paper off.
"Oh my gosh! No way!"
"A kids book?" Hank gives her a look.
"No! Don't you remember? I told you that my.." Jessica suddenly becomes emotional.
"My aunt Barbra read this to me all the time when I was little.. It was lost in a fire years ago. I told Idris about it at Thanksgiving.. and he found it!" Jessica looks up and smiles at Idris through her tears.
"You were actually listening to my long boring story!" Jessica chuckles and wipes her cheeks.
"I didn't find it boring at all! I thought it was very sweet. In some strange way I felt you aunt Barbra made it possible. I searched and searched for this book. Everywhere! Finally I found it online. There was only one left.. I had it shipped from a bookstore in Switzerland."
"What? Oh wow! That must have been expensive!"
"Don't worry about that." Idris smiles.
"You really put a lot into this. This is so sweet! Thank you so so much!"
"Aw.. I just really wanted you to have it."
Jessica felt herself wanting to cry even harder.
No one has ever given her a gift with so much meaning behind it. Hank didn't even buy her one gift this Christmas.
"That's really sweet of you, dad!" Ziah smiles.
"That's where you get your kind heart from." Bradley says grabbing his hand.
"Hey what about me?" Leona laughs.
"You're very kind as well, I'm so sorry!"
"I'm just messing with you! He does have his father's heart."
Ziah smiles then grabs a small box.
"I have one more gift to hand out.
Bradley.." He smiles.
"Yes?"
"You're my best friend.. I am beyond blessed to have met you.. now that we're together, I never want to live life apart. I want to ride this crazy journey with you. I want to become a parent with you, a grandparent, and great grandparent! Bradley Murphy.. Will you marry me?"
"Oh my gosh.." Bradley covers his mouth and slightly widens his eyes.
"What?!"
Ziah laughs.
"You wanna marry me or not?"
"Haha! Of course I do! YES!"
"My baby!" Jessica quickly stands up.
Ziah and Bradley share a passionate kiss.
"We're getting married! How cool is that?!"
"Aw Bradley! I can't believe it, baby. I'm so happy for the both of you!" Jessica hugs them both.
"I'm so happy!" Bradley looks to his mother in tears.
"Thank you for letting me be myself, mom."
"Of course! You're such an incredible person, Bradley. I love you so much, baby!" Jessica hugs him once again.
"I love you more, mom."

Later that day.
Jessica saw Idris walk into his room so she followed.
"Hey.."
"Oh! Jessica, you startled me." Idris chuckles.
"I'm sorry!"
"It's okay! Everything alright?"
Jessica looks to the side as tears fill her eyes.
"That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. Ever!"
"Really? You're so kind, you deserve more. So much more, Jessica."
Jessica bites her bottom lip.
"Thank you so much."
"You're very welcome. I'm happy you liked it." Idris smiles.
Jessica then walks over and wraps her arms around him.
Idris slowly lifts his arms and places them around her.
Jessica looks up with a smile before kissing right beside his lips. So close that the very corner of her lips touched his.
Jessica then looked into his eyes and smiled.
"I'll let you get back to whatever you came in here for. I just had to tell you how much I appreciate you.. er.. the gift!" Jessica giggles nervously.
"I'll see you out there." Jessica lightly taps his chest.
Idris was speechless.
Jessica gave him a sweet smile before leaving the room.
The door shuts, and Idris snaps back to reality.
"Well shit." He sighs. "Shit, shit, shit."
