Restarting the game

"But if you start the game again, the rules still apply. And you won't be able to get back with Sakura." I reminded the Uchiha again, trying to convince him not to play the game.
Our faces were so close, the tip of our noses touch, we could feel each other's warm breath.

I said I was persuading him not to restart the game but yet.. part of me wanted to participate again.

I somehow craved his touch.
Craved his lips.

"So be it." Sasuke replied, and soon as he did, I went in for a long lingering kiss on his soft lips. I felt my heart beating, and fireworks in my stomach. He returned the affection, pulling me into him as if he felt the same. As if he missed my touch. My lips.

We haven't kissed in awhile. And it felt both weird and good.

We finally parted for air, and Sasuke's eyes look like he was about to devour me. As Sasuke was going in for another kiss, footsteps of students could be heard boarding the bus.

"Naruto! Are you alright? We heard what happened." Kiba shouted while scanning the seats of the bus before his sight landed on me. Sakura was behind him, with worry written all over her face.

Sasuke clicked his tongue, looking annoyed that they interrupted us as he rolled his eyes.

"I'm fine now.. Thanks." I was surprised to see both of them here as they were from different classes, their schedule of touring should be opposite from ours so there wouldn't be overcrowding of students.

"Are you alright too, Sasuke?" Sakura softly and shyly asked. Sasuke nodded, "Yeah. Don't worry about me." Both of my best friends took the seats in front of us to rest their head on the backseat, looking at us while asking what had happened.

Sasuke simply explained to them that I tripped over a large rock and fell. And I continued to reassured them that I was fine. Students began flocking in after their lunch. Apparently all the classes came to this location to have lunch together. Kiba and Sakura were probably asking where I was and someone must have informed them of what happened.

My best friends returned to their bus as we departed for school again before releasing all the students home.

The next morning, Sasuke offered to take me to the doctor's before bringing me out for lunch. The doctor said that my ankle would be fine as long as I rest more and ice it. He wrapped my ankle up for me and advise me to use crutches for the first few days to avoid any more pressure on the ankle.

I left the clinic with the crutches, Sasuke brought us to a near by restaurant to have our late lunch. At this point, I was starving because I missed breakfast.

"Just one night without you and I already miss your annoying presence." Sasuke said while digging into his fish and chips.
"You're not suppose to say that I'm annoying!  You're trying to win my heart, remember?" I slurped my ramen.

He smirked to himself. "You are annoying. But I love it."
I knew his words were nothing but lies, but it made my heart flutter. For the past weeks, I have been so sensitive to every word and move he makes. I absolutely hated it.

Another week passed and I was fully mobile again, at first my best friends and Itachi were freaking out when they first saw me in crutches. But Sasuke explained to them it was from the fall in the cave. He probably doesn't want Itachi to feel bad about the fall, even though it wasn't his fault.

"Let's go out for dinner to celebrate Naruto's recovery!" Kiba suggested, raising his fist up to the sky. Sakura agreed, "Let's invite Sasuke too. After all, he took care of Naruto too."

I texted Sasuke to meet us at the restaurant where we would be having our dinner at.

As we reached there, we could see the tall charming Uchiha has already arrived. We made our way into the restaurant. Sasuke was sitting across from me, beside Sakura. I was sitting with Kiba, across from Sasuke. It was obvious that Sakura still had strong feelings for Sasuke, but I can't seem to read Sasuke and what he wants now.

Dinner passed with the usual chit chat about school and life. Then with Kiba around, of course he would order alcohol. After a few rounds of everyone doing shots, Kiba leaned towards me. "Man, I miss hanging out with you." He hugged me after taking a shot. Sasuke took a shot as well, eyeballing us.

That's right. Sasuke and Kiba are great drinkers..

"I missed you too. Sorry I've been so busy with my great aunt." I returned the embrace.

"Great.. aunt?" Sasuke raised his eyebrow. I kicked his leg from under the table. "Oh, right. Great aunt." He coughed, taking another shot.

Kiba almost didn't want to let me go, but when he finally did, he took another shot. "Promise me you're all mine after your great aunt is well enough?" Hearing that, Sasuke almost spit out his shot of alcohol.

"Sorry, Naruto has a lot of classes and projects with me." Sasuke raised up his shot glass to Kiba.

Kiba clinked shot glasses with him and both of them downed another one. "It's alright, he'll make time for me." Kiba grinned, filling up his glass.

"Don't think so. He couldn't even make time for you now, what makes you think so then?" Sasuke smirked and winked, raising his shot glass again.

Kiba clashed his glass again, it was clear to see Sasuke getting on his nerve. Sakura try to advise Sasuke not to drink too much and I did the same with Kiba.

Both of them ignored me and Sakura, proceeding to have a silent drinking challenge amongst themselves.

After a few more shots, I stopped Kiba. Because it was getting clear to see Sasuke was a better drinker than Kiba. Now looking at my best friend, his eyes were half shut and his face was flushed. I took the remaining few shots for him so he couldn't drink anymore.

I carried Kiba out of the restaurant, with his arm sling over my shoulder. I was started to get dizzy too. Sasuke offered to send me home, but I offered to send Kiba home. Kiba declined and said he wants to send me home.

"No-No, it's fine-e, Naru! Let me se...nd you h-home!" He slung his arm over me.

"Look at you, you can barely even walk!" I chuckled, rejecting his offer once again.

I couldn't let Kiba send me home because I still didn't want him to know I was living with the Uchihas.

There was no way Kiba could ever know I was living in their household.
