"Welcome home." Itachi greeted as he opened the door to my new house for me. I was extremely excited. I am actually living in a huge house where it has a garden, front and back yard, a fountain, gaming room, movie room, hot tub, pool and many more!
Best part is everything is that its absolutely free! It's like going on a vacation that would never end! I happily skipped into my new house as Sasuke parked the car.

"I didn't unpack your bedroom stuff, because I wanted you to choose a room for yourself." Itachi guided me upstairs to the same floors where their bedrooms were. Sasuke's room was on the left side and Itachi's was on the right and there were three guest bedrooms between them. I went in all the rooms, and decide to pick the second room between them which means I was in the middle one, and I would have one guest bed room to each of my side.

The Uchiha brothers helped me unpack and decorate my room for most of the evening. I had my personal bathroom, and even a balcony. And my bedroom was so much bigger. When everything was done, both Uchihas went to their room to take a well deserved rest. Both of them helped me to move from this morning. They must be really tired. As was i. I flopped onto bed, smiling from ear to ear from looking around my new room.

I received a call from my cell phone.
"Hey, Naruto! Sakura and I are coming over right now with supper! Was just checking if you were asleep yet."
"No!" I jumped out of bed, "You can't come to my place! I'm-I-'m not there right now."

"Huh? Then where are you at?"
"I-m I'm at my great aunt's house. She suddenly moved over here from across the country, so I decided to stay with her for a few months.. you know shes an old old lady.. can't have people breaking in or attacking her or anything." I am the worst at lying. Especially towards my best friends.
"Okay... where's your great aunt address then? We'll pop by to say Hi."
"No! You can't do that as well.. you know how old people are.. shes a really cranky and grumpy old lady, not the kind that bakes you cookies and all.."
"Man, that sounds bad. Must suck to live with her. But despite that, you still choose to do so for security reasons. You really are my best friend."
I nervously laughed, said my bye to him and hung up.

Great aunt?! Seriously, Naruto?
God, I am really bad at lying.

I heard knocks on my door. "Come in." I said as I sat back down onto my bed. "Hey." Sasuke greeted, shutting the door behind him.
"Hey."
"How are you settling in so far?"
"Everything's good. Thanks for checking in on me."
"Actually.. I want to ask a favor of you." Sasuke cleared his throat and sat down beside me.
"So about the challenge.. Let's compete discreetly, alright?"
"It is because of Itachi?"
He nodded, "Thanks for understanding." He patted me on my shoulder and left.

This guy.. is sure warm towards his brother, yet so cold to the rest of the world.
The separation must have isolated him from the rest of the world, besides his brother.
But may be its because I don't have a sibling, hence I have no choice but to open up to the big scary world. Because if theres one thing I hate as much as goodbyes, its being on my own.

"Good morning," I greeted the two Uchiha brothers as they were all eating breakfast and getting ready for school. I left the house first without eating breakfast because I didn't want anyone to see me walking with the Uchihas to school.

I stopped by a bakery to get a sandwich. And as I was paying, someone tapped me on my shoulder. "Naruto? Why are you here? Your house isn't near here at all." I turned around nervously to see Kiba. "Er.. my great uncle I mean Aunt house is just around the corner." I stuttered, trying to explain my way out of this.

"Oh?! Thats great! I live at that building, beside this bakery store!" He pointed at his block. "That's great! We could go for supper nights now! There's a great burger joint near by as well-"
"I'm quite busy. Er.. My great aunt is ill.. thats why i don't usually go out besides for school." I interrupted him and paid for my breakfast. Kiba pulled coins from his pocket and passed it to the cashier. "Man, these days you're acting all weird.. Are you hiding something?"

"W-what?! No.." I hurriedly left the store, avoiding Kiba's eye contact. Kiba caught up to me, squinting his eyes with suspicion as he bit into his pastry.

As we were reaching the front gate, I could see Sakura waving at us already. "Wow, why are both of you together?"
"Naruto's great aunt house is a street away from me."
"Really? That's so cool! Both of you could meet for late supper!" Sakura enthusiastically cheered.
"I know right?! That's what I said! But he told me he couldn't make it because his great aunt is sick. Bummer." Kiba gave me puppy dog eyes me as he pouted, we made our way into school grounds.

The class bell rang to indicate the first period was starting. I excused myself and rushed to my class. Thank god it wasn't a class with them, I would have been bombarded with questions.

I took my seat and shortly after, Sasuke entered the class and took the seat beside me.
Despite leaving later, he was still on time. Probably drove his nice car to school.
