Juliana Hayes did not realize how long it took to get over a heartbreak. She had been broken up with for no reason and was left to pick up the pieces? It was bullshit in her opinion. At times like this, she wondered if she should have listened to her parents. She thought that maybe they were right, that love only was for the weak.

Though she couldn't let her mind stay stuck on how she thought that she was the one. She couldn't keep thinking about the promises that were made. Because clearly, those promises meant nothing if Bianca Barclay could end what they had so quickly. It was like it meant nothing to her. She had done it like Juliana meant nothing. That's what hurt her the most.

Because one day they were fine, nothing was wrong between the two. Then the next, Bianca told Juliana to meet her in town for coffee. Juliana expected it to be a small date and had happily agreed! Though she was painfully wrong. It only took three hours until she was sitting in front of Bianca with a cold hot chocolate on the verge of tears at the news she had received. Her whole world had just crumbled and Bianca got up and left.

Now, it was the next school year and she was expected to go back to Nevermore Academy like nothing had happened. That is what her parents told her, to get over the pain because that's what a Hayes did. Though Juliana didn't think she could, but she did. She listened and went back, she pretended Bianca wasn't even there.

Because to her, Bianca Barclay was dead now. And Juliana Hayes never wanted to see or hear about the girl again.
