What Do You Know About Love?

"Hang on. We like to go fast," Kristoff warned, the three of squeezed in his sleigh.

"We like fast." Andar kicked his feet up and put them on the dash, his hands behind her head.

Kristoff reached over and pulled his legs off. "Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! Get your feet down. This is fresh lacquer. Seriously, were you raised in a barn?" He spat on the dash, ricocheting and hitting Andar in the face, Y/n cackling, but she handed him a spare rag from the ground.

He took it, noticed it was filthy, and wiped his face with a clean part with a look of disgust. "Ugh! No, I was raised in a castle."

Unbothered, Kristoff polished the sled to his satisfaction. "Hm. So, tell me, what made the queen go all ice-crazy?"

"And ruin our business," Y/n added, leaning back in the cramped sled.

"Oh, well ,it was my fault. I got engaged and she freaked out because I'd only just met her, you know, that day. And she said she wouldn't bless the marriage -"

But had whipped her head to the prince, cutting him off. "Wait. You got engaged to someone you just met that day?"

"Yeah. Anyway, I got mad and so she got mad. And then she tried to walk away and I grabbed her glove -"

She raised her voice, insisting, "No, pricey boy, I ain't done yet."

Kristoff laughed a little, glad that someone else got the brunt of her annoyance for once.

"You, Prince Andar, got engaged to Princess Charming -"

"Hanna," he corrected.

"Gesundheit. - that day?!"

"Yes. Are you done yet?" Andar asked in annoyance. "But the thing is, she wore gloves all the time. So I just thought, 'Maybe she has a thing about dirt.' "

"Didn't your parents ever warn you about strangers?!" Kristoff cried, still stuck on the prince's engagement.

Realizing he was sandwiched between the two, he sunk down a little and answered, "Yeeees, they did. But Hanna's is not a stranger."

"Oh yeah? What's his last name?" Y/n asked.

"Of-the-Southern-Isles," Anna replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Favorite food?"

"Sandwiches."

"Best friend's name?"

"Probably Joan."

"Breast size?"

"Breast size doesn't matter."

"Of course it does," she replied. "Look, w if you don't like the way he eats? What if you don't like the way she talks about your friends?"

"Talks about my friends?" Andar asked curiously.

"Behind their backs?"

Offended, he reminded her, "Excuse me, miss, she is a princess."

Y/n looked back ahead in silence for a minute. "All women do it."

"Ugh!" he groaned, putting his face into his mittens. Looking back up, he declared,  "Look, it doesn't matter. It's true love!"

"But...knowing a girl before you marry her...eh, kind of does," she replied.

Andar huffed and crossed his arms, glaring away from her.

Andar:
You've got opinions
On my life and my relations
But let me tell you what

"Okay, enlighten me."

Andar:
Love is the one thing
That has zero complications
And I can trust my gut

He pushed her away by the arm, causing her to fall into the side of the sled. Kristoff pulled him away as he dusted his hands, satisfied.

"Okay, you frighten me," was all that she said back.

Andar:
Some people know their hearts
The minute true love starts

Y/n:
Some people read a lot of books

"I like books," he shrugged.

"Me, too, but..."

Andar:
Some people simply know
When true love says hello

Y/n:
Some folks are taken in by
Curly hair and pretty looks

"She is pretty. We agree on that one," he declared smuggly.

"No, that's not what I...oh, forget it."

Y/n:
All I’m saying is
When you go to climb a mountain
You don’t just jump to the top

"If it's true love, you can!"

Y/n:
There's scaling and scramblin'
And too many steps for countin'

She put her hand on the backboard, leaning closer to Andar, who had found his hand on her bicep.

Y/n:
And the work doesn’t stop

But he pushed her out of his face.

"Maybe for you ~" he teased.

Y/n:
Love's not an easy climb
You have to take your time

Andar:
We get a whole life, that's the plan

"That's not a plan!"

Y/n:
Love's not a thing you get

"It's work and tears and sweat."

He rolled his eyes.

Andar:
So says the sweaty, pretty woman

He grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her slightly. Y/n did the same thing while Kristoff tried to ignore them and just steer the sled.

Andar, Y/n:
Oh, what do you know about true love?
What do you know about love?
What do you know about love?
What do you know about love?

"Have you even kissed a boy?" he demanded.

"Not the point."

Andar, Y/n:
What do you know about anything, anything?

Y/n:
Anyone with half a brain
Would've worn some winter gear

She took her hat off and placed it on Andar's head, all rolled his eyes again.

Andar:
Anyone with half a life
Would have one friend who's not a deer

"Hey!" Kristoff explained indignantly.

He blushed from embarrassment, forgetting about Kristoff momentarily. "Oh, right."

Y/n:
Any fool who jumps head long
Is gonna bang their head -

"Ugh, what are you? Some kind of a love expert?" he demanded.

"No. I'm just, you know, rational."

"Actually," Kristoff began again. "I have friends who are."

"You have friends who are love experts," Andar confirmed, getting a smirk. "I'm not buying it."

"Stop talking," he said suddenly.

"No, hang on, Kristoff, let him make a fool of himself -"

He held up his mitten to her lips. "No, I mean it."

After a minute, Y/n tapped him on the shoulder, looking worried. "Kristoff?"

"Shhh!" He looked behind him, his eyes growing. Whipping back around, he shouted, "Sven, go. Go!"

Y/n looked back, gasping when she saw some kind of animals chasing them from behind. "Wolves?!"

"Wolves," Kristoff replied quickly with a nod, trying not to panic as he grabbed his rope.

"What do we do?!" Andar asked desperately.

"Don't worry about that." Y/n got up and pushed him to the edge of the seat, taking the rope from Kristoff. "And don't be dumb and fall off."

"But I wanna help," Anna insisted.

"No."

"Agreed," Kristoff responded with a torch in his hand.

"Why not?" he pouted.

"Because we don't trust your judgement."

"Excuse me?"

"Who marries a girl she just met?!" Y/n demanded while Kristoff kicked away a wolf that jumped at her.

Sndar held up the lute threateningly, exclaiming, "It's true love!"

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Y/n screamed, ducking out of the way, pulling Kristoff down with her, just in time for her to smack back the wolves behind them.

But Y/n tumbled off, just barely holding on. The torch fell into Andar's hand and Kristoff was forced to drag in the snow, gripping to the rope as tightly as her gloves would allow her to.

"Samantha!" he cried.

"Not even close!" she responded, crying out as he kicked the wolves away. [If your name is Samantha, just change it.]

Andar used the torch to light the blanket in the back on fire and throw it at the wolves. "Duck!"

"AHHHHHH -"

He chucked it, hitting two back, while the rest ran for Kristoff's legs, baking ravenously.

"You almost set her on fire!" Kristoff shouted aggressively, restraining himself from punching the prince off of the sled, while Y/n used the opportunity to climb back in.

"But he didn't," Y/n reminded with a shrug, letting him pull her back up.

Andar gasped when she saw a cliff in front of them. "Y/n?!"

"What now?"

"Remember when you told me that any fool who jumped right into love would bang their head?"

"So?!" she snapped at him, more concerned about the wolves.

"Well..."

Andar:
Any fool who doesn’t jump right now
Is probably gonna end up dead!

"Get ready to jump, Sven!"

"You don't tell him what to do." Kristoff picked him up and threw him onto Sven.

"Hey! Whoa!" she cried, landing.

"We do!" He cut the rope off and grabbed Y/n.

When the moment was right, Y/n called out, "Jump, Sven!"

He did, Andar yelling out as he landed to safety. The sled followed and Kristoff jumped off, Y/n practically choking him as she held onto his neck. "WHOOOO RIDE 'EM COWBOY!"

Kristoff pushed her to his back and held his arms out for the cliff, just grabbing on. The wolves screeched to a halt on the other side, snarling still.

Kristoff looked back to make sure Y/n was okay, then down where his sled had crashed and proceeded to explode in a fire.

"Mmm...but I just payed it off..." he whined. But his lament was soon cut short as he began to slip. "Uh-oh. No no no..." He tried to find his grip again, Y/n having slid down to his legs.

"SAY YOUR PRAYERS, LADS!" she cried, her eyes shut and squeezing onto his thighs.

As Kristoff tried to pull them both up, Andar had thrown a rope tied to a spear. "Grab on!"

He did and began to move up, both of them dragging in the snow.

"Pull, Sven, pull!" Andar cried, both of them straining to pull both up. Once they got far enough, Kristoff yanked both of them up, then flipped over, panting. Andar came over and looked over the cliff. "Whoa..." He gave gave them both a guilty look as Kristoff helped Y/n up. "I'll replace your sled...and everything in it...and I understand if...you don't want to help us anymore..."

Sven sniffed at him and Y/n offered her hand while Andar walked off, trying to figure out which direction he had to go in. Y/n looked back and shook her head, leaving Kristoff as she ran to the prince. "Andar, wait!"

He looked back while she was only a few feet away.

Y/n:
No joke, you're pretty brave

Andar was able to manage a smile, walking the rest of the way to her.

Andar:
You needed to be saved

She punched him in the shoulder, Andar wincing in slight pain.

Y/n:
You've got some guts

He rubbed his shoulder with a chuckle.

Andar:
You've got some...brains

"Gee, thanks."

Andar, Y/n:
With miles and miles to go
I guess it's nice to know
That I can trust you...

They got closer, Y/n suddenly feeling warm in her heavy coat. But they managed to smirk at each other, knowing that their fight was not yet over.

Andar, Y/n:
But the question still remains:
What do you know about love?

"Just be careful," Y/n finally relented.

Andar, Y/n:
What do you know about love?

"Have a little faith," he responded.

Andar, Y/n:
At least we know one thing:
This trip should be interesting
What do you know about love?
What do you know about love?!

They walked off, Kristoff grumbling as he followed them.

-

Ice crystals hung from the trees as the three made their way across the fjord. They looked up at them in sonder, Sven jumping around with crystals on his antlers.

"I never knew winter could be so beautiful..." Andar breathed.

"For real for real," Y/n responded, shaking the crystals that hung from one of the lower branches.

"Yeah, it really is beautiful, isn't it? But it's so white."

They stopped at the voice, looking stand confusedly. They pushed through ahead, trying to find the source of the voice.

"You know, how about a color? I'm thinking like maybe some crimson, chartreuse...oh, how about yellow? ...no, not yellow. Yellow and snow? Brrrrrr! No-go."

When they heard it laugh, they found a short snowman next to them, smiling. "Am I right?"

Screaming, Andar kicked it, his head flying right into Y/n's arms. "Hi!" he greeted excitedly.

"You're creepy." She tossed the head to Anna.

"I don't want it!" he cried, throwing back.

"Oh, hell naw. Krissy, catch!" She tossed it to him.

All this time, the body was desperately trying to follow for its head back. "Please don't drop me."

"Don't!"

"Come on, it's just a head!"

"Yeah, a HEAD!"

"Alright, we got off to a bad start," he tried again.

"Ew ew - the body!"

Still holding onto the head, Y/n threw it as hard as she could at the body, toppling it over. He got back up, everything for him upside-down. "Wait, what am I looking at right now? Why are you hanging off the Earth like a bat?"

"Alright, wait one second." Andar went over and took his head, which was what was actually upside-down, and put it back on right.

"Oh! Thank you!"

"You're welcome."

"Now I'm perfect!" he exclaimed excitedly.

"Well..." Andar looked at the middle of his face, noticing something was missing. "Almost."

Out of the carrot bag next to him, he took one out, then went back to Olaf, who was saying to Kristoff and Y/n, "It was like my whole life got upside-down."

Andar took the carrot and shoved it into the middle of his face, the carrot going straight through his face, only the very tip of the. "Oh!"

She pulled back, apologizing. "Oh! Too hard. I'm sorry."

"Head rush!"

"Are you okay?"

"Are you kidding me? I..." He broke into a grin. "...am wonderful! I always wanted a nose." He turned, touching it lightly. "It's like a little baby unicorn..."

Andar put his hand on the big part of the carrot and pushed it through. The snowman's eyes bugged out as he cried, "What? Hey! Whoa!" Seeing the full carrot now, he announced, "Oh, I love it even more." He sighed, waddling all the way around to Andar. "Alright, let's start this thing over. Hi, everyone. I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!" He held his arms out.

Anna's smile fell into a look of remembrance. "Olaf?"

He nodded, still grinning.

"That's right!" he remembered, his smile back. "Olaf!"

His arms still out, he nodded and asked, "And you are...?"

She shook off the feeling of deja vu. "Oh, um, I'm Andar."

"Oh, okay. And who's the pretty lady?"

"Oh, I like you," she smirked.

"That's Y/n," Andar replied, ignoring her comment.

"Okay. And who's the funky-looking donkey?" he asked, pointing around Y/n, who moved over.

"That's Sven," Y/n replied.

"Uh-huh. And who's the reindeer?"

"...Sven?" Y/n questioned, her head tilted to the side.

"Oh, they're - oh, okay. Makes things easier for me."

Y/n let out a cackle when she saw Kristoff's agahst face and heard Olaf's comment. "Yep! Sven and Sven against the world!"

The real Sven leaned over while he was turned back to Andar, reaching for the carrot. Obliviously, he turned back and hugged his head. "Aww, look at him trying to kiss my nose! I like you, too!"

"Olaf, did Elsa build you?" Andar asked, trying to get his attention back to her.

He let go of Sven and looked back at him. "Yeah. Why?"

"Do you know where are is? he asked instead.

"Yeah. Why?"

"Can you take us to him?"

"Fascinating..." Kristoff mumbled, flexing it.

"Yeah. Why?"

"How does this work?" The arm reared back and slapped him. "Ow!"

Olaf snapped around and grabbed his arm, putting it back into place while Y/n snickered. "Stop it, Sven! Trying to focus here." Once it was back in, he turned back as if nothing had happened. "Yeah. Why?"

"I'll tell you why," Kristoff finally said, bending over slightly. "We need Elsa to bring back summer."

"Summer?" he asked, to which Andar nodded to. "Oh, I don't know why, but I've always loved the idea of summer and sun and all things hot..." he gushed.

"Really?" Kristoff questioned curiously, surprised at how innocent the snowman was. "I'm guessing you don't have much experience with heat."

"Nope!" Olaf responded, blissfully unaware. "But sometimes, I like to close my eyes and imagine what it'll be like when summer does come..." He closed his eyes and sighed.

[In case you missed it, I don't write out fantasy sequences. It's too much of a challenge.]

Olaf:
Bees will buzz
Kids will blow dandelion fuzz
And I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer...

A drink in my hand
My snow up against the burning sand
Probably getting gorgeously tanned in summer ~

I'll finally see a summer breeze blow away a winter storm
And find out what happens to solid water when it gets warm...

And I can't wait to see
What my buddies all think of me
Just imagine how much cooler I'll be in summer!

Ba-da a-doo
A-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-boo
The hot and the cold are both so intense
Put 'em together, it just makes sense!

Ra-ta-ta-ta-ta
A-da-da da-da-da-doo-oo
Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle,
But put me in summer and I'll be a...

"Puddle!" Y/n chimed in, way too giddily, clapping her hands sadistically.

Everyone blankly stared at her, including Olaf, but it was more out of confusion. Instead, he shook his head and cried out, "Happy snowman!"

Olaf:
When life gets rough, I like to hold on to my dream
Relaxing in the summer sun, just lettin' off steam

He reached up at the sky in wonder.

Olaf:
Oh, the sky...will be blue

He looked back at the others fondly.

Olaf:
And you guys will be there, too...
When I finally do what frozen things do in summer!

"I'm gonna tell him," Y/n said, her arms crossed.

Andar hit her in the chest, scolding, "Don't you dare."

Olaf:
In summer!

"So, come on! Ella's this way. Let's go bring back summer!" He ran off, Andar just behind him.

"I'm coming!"

Kristoff shrugged to Y/n and followed, but she hung back, genuinely concerned. "Somebody's gotta tell him..."
